We stayed here for 8 nights...out of the major Waikiki hustle and bustle. Hilton Hawaiian village fireworks greeted us on Friday evening. 2 bedroom, both with ensuite and a self contained kitchen so we looked after ourselves alot...much cheaper and we had unlimited wifi. Security on site. Parking on site. We loved it and will stay again. ABC convenience store across the road. Maccas in the building, pharmacy in the building, swimming pool and hot tub. I felt like we could have stayed for a month. Never got sick of looking at that view
We were forced to stay here for a work trip. Terrible. Entrance smelt of urine, homeless people at entrances, someone smoking marijuana and because it is not a managed property now way of trying to find person, shower was so small my husband had to duck his head under, the air conditioner was mouldy. If you can afford somewhere else, go there
We were on the 31st floor and had a nice, spacious, 2-queen-bed (plus futon) unit. We had access to a reserved parking space in the parkade (multi-level parking garage). The condo had a full, well-equipped kitchen; the bathroom was small and dated. There was also a very cool balcony area (enclosed, except that the massive windows opened wide - very nice)! We had a great view looking east, over the city towards the mountains. It was nice to watch the street/building lights turn on in the evening, and the sunrise in the morning was spectacular, which then caused the room to warm up quickly!
Good location Little bit dated. Good views of the city and some of the water. We had a 2br 2 bath and it was perfect for 2 couples Car rentals located right in the basement, very convenient. Across from the illakai and the Hilton Hawaiian village. About a ten minute walk to the beach thru Fort serious. A little shorter if you just want to go to the other side of the Hilton lagoon.
I believe one should reserve a site a year in advance as you get what is left in accommodations. The room we had was comfortable enough but is need of a major renovation. The cupboards were on their last leg. The carpet needed a major cleaning. The main tv was 26". The second one , smaller yet.
Been staying at discovery for a couple months for work. Nice place. Gated community. Weekly house keeping. Assigned parking(hope you can parallel park and don't drive a lifted truck. there are a few restaurants in the building as well as a gift shop. Been having plumbing problems between the toilet backing up or the tub backing up. other then that great place to stay. 5 minute walk from magic island and the beach. 1 mile walk from walmart or safeway.
This apartment complex has an attached parking garage and close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. If you like views of the sunset and sunrise both from the mountains or the sea, this is a decent location. Not too far from the main strip of all the shopping malls and eateries. Plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby. For a quick stop for groceries, there is a market called Food Pantry a couple minutes walk from the condo. Walmart is not too far, if driving. Definitely will stay here again.
The facility itself is nice, however they appear to have a bug problem. We stayed there before and we were told that the bugs were a fluke as it is sometimes inevitable in tropical climates. Well, we thought we'd give it another chance because the condo itself is nice -- we were wrong -- the bugs are definitely a problem in that building. Will not go back to this facility.
This is a twin tower complex in west Waikiki located on a very noisy main highway Ala Moana Blvd. If you want the best view with the least noise, you have to go high. In the Endeavor tower, the best 2 bed units are 01 and 04. The best small 1 bed units are 02 and 03. The best studio is 10 and the best large one bed is 09. In the Resolution tower, 11 is the best two bedroom, 20 is the best studio and 19 is the best large one bedroom. If you care about view and noise, these are the best units 30th floor or higher. If you DON'T care about noise or what you look at, then any unit on any floor will work for you. All units are 30 day rentals minimum. This is an HOA rule. Beware of any rental agency or owner who will rent their unit for a shorter period. That is a major rule violation. Property management will find out and you could be asked to vacate the premises.
