Waikiki Garden Villa

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Studio was nice size and layout and kitchen was well stocked. Bed was clean and comfortable. Apartment stayed cool during day but A/C was needed in evening and I was glad it was available. Shower is VERY small, and building hallway is brightly lit through the night casting significant light into the room 24/7 even with curtains drawn

Parking spaces too narrow. I had to get out on the passenger side numerous times because I had to park so close to a wall to avoid banging into another car. My car did get scratched one day because the other vehicle wasn’t as careful as I was.

Quiet. Welcoming. It was almost perfect. The shower’s hot and cold function was reversed. Not only reversed, it was way too difficult to land on the hot water. This resulted in no showers until the office opened the next day and someone could demonstrate that it wasn’t broken, just installed horribly. It didn’t ruin anything, it was unpleasant for a bit, but let the next guest know how it works.

This property is going to be great it's under some outside repairs but was clean inside our room bigger than I thought and had everything we needed

Location, location, location... close to everything. About 10 minutes walk to the beach if don't stop to every boutique or so. Our unit was at the ground level and didn't have a good view but we didn't care much as most of the day we were outside.

Don’t ever stay here!!!!! The owner and employees are disgusting. Racist, combative, and rude. Flat out. And beyond that, this place is a dump. It’s not glamorous in the photos but in person it’s just beat down. Keep scrolling guys.

the property was great, location and all the amenities provided was good,,,but no elevator... maybe next time....4 1/2 stars....

Great location. Friendly staff! I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Great location. Wife had trouble with steps. Blinds were broken. Staff friendly and helpful and quick to respond.

Aloha Randall, First I would like to thank you for choosing Waikiki Garden Villa as your honeymoon retreat. I apologize that the shower configuration had been confusing to you. We appreciate your suggestion. I am glad to hear that a staff member was able to assist you as soon as they could regarding the hot water issue. I am also happy to hear that this did not hinder the remainder of your stay. We hope to see you in the near future. Mahalo.

This anonymous guest, aggressively demanded full attention despite the front desk agent politely notifying her that he needed to pay attention to elderly ladies who required assistance carrying their heavy luggage to the third floor. The guest was combative on the phone and extremely disrespectful as soon as she stepped into our office. She decided to belittle, degrade and demean our staff by hurling vulgar insults and slurs. She was asked to calm down, go to her room or to leave if she continued to be hostile. The guest chose to act out in front of fellow guests who were elders and who didn't speak English. The guest caused a scene and was asked to vacate the premises without being permitted to check in. This was due to her behavior and animosity towards our staff member. We do not tolerate hostile energy and no one should feel entitled to curse out our employees due to a poorly perceived reaction. The guest showed no aloha or respect for her elders, for their needs or for my office. We will turn away anyone who arrives with the sole intention of disturbing the peace and verbally assaulting our employees, regardless of background

Mahalo for your feedback. We are now renting units in a building we have remodeled at 438 Kuamoo Street, which has an elevator servicing the parking area to the fourth floor. You will notice the apartments listed as "438 Kuamoo _ _ _ " (201, 203, 204, 304, 305, 402). The rooms rent for similar rates to our Nahua Street property and are managed by us. Thank you for staying with us, we look forward to seeing you in the future. Happy New Year
