Rooms were very clean; queen beds were nice but mattresses were a little stiff. Pillows weren't comfortable. Television was good quality. Balcony was adequate. Views were very good of ocean and Diamond Head. Front Desk staff were not welcoming on arrival but Bell Staff were very friendly and helpful. Front Desk staffwoman on early morn departure was very nice and helpful on arranging a taxi for airport. Rooms were well-cleaned. Female Deck staff and male bartender were indifferent and unwelcoming on the 2 occasions we ate lunch and appetizers. But, make Deck server was very friendly and accommodating for breakfast. Our daughter loved the string french fries but other food just okay. Knot's Coffee and strawberry/mango dole whip were delicious, daily needs. Both these lobby amenities made the hotel more desirable. Lei making was a fantastic hotel activity and ocean chairs and towels made resort fee tolerable. Pool unheated and just okay. All said, we weren't overimpressed nor underimpressed. It was a nice stay and would rate 3.5 stars.

I liked the simplicity, quiet, cleanliness, and great view.

Very close to the beach, Nice view of Diamond Head. Dislike parking to expensive 40.00 a night said there was public parking across the street there is not you can pay but max of 4 hrs. Restaurant and bar outrageous prices

It's close proximity to everything. Friendly greeting, service and departing staff.

too expensive for what it offers. Hospitality fee is appalling: $40.00

Location is great, a block from the beach & all of Waikiki action. Rooms are clean but small & very basic. I was promised a king bed, was given a queen & the staff made no attempt to fix this or move us. They put it on us to go & be at the desk at a certain hour to see if we could move. We’re told if a king became available, we had to move out by 11 & leave our stuff at the desk & move by 3! It was all just too much & we didn’t try to stand at the desk every day at 11 to see if a room comes up! So the room situation was very disappointing!

Excellent view. Easy access to many Waikiki features.

This property is located right on the major tourist attraction area. It has super clean rooms and staffs are curious. Highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the views from this hotel. It was a short walk to the Waikiki Beach and lots of shopping. We will stay here every time we are in Honolulu area.

The hotel itself was excellent. Very pleased with my room and had no issues with needed service. The only issue I had was the parking situation. We came on the wrong weekend and it was with difficulty finding parking specifically on Saturday.

Loved the staff & pool. Very disappointed in room & incomplete information when invited to a special meal. Room was smaller than pictured, seemed older, & no coffee pot (implied in comments). $280. for amenities was too much for what little was offered. Not on the beach as shown in one of the pics. I would recommend this hotel strictly based on staff friendliness.

Really close to Waikiki Beach, which was nice. The valet parking was great, just pricey. Food at the restaurant was not very good, and expensive. All employees we came across were very nice and helpful. Love the lobby!

What a wonderful experience we had here first time wver visit Hawwaii, will definitely recommend to my friends

Coolest hotel in Waikiki. Has a great retro vibe along with contemporary amenities. The rooms are cool, the pool bar has a great view, and the gym is the biggest and best we've ever seen. Manager David was friendly and efficient in helping with a special request. We're so glad we stayed here instead of the stuffy higher end hotels.
