We arrived after 14 hours of travel time and after taking showers, bugs were in our room. We requested to be moved (being tired from traveling) and they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. Also, the refrigerator wasn’t working properly (is another reason they moved us). Overall, a decent hotel, but we will not be returning. By the way, Duke’s restaurant was much better for breakfast than the free option. Don’t spend more money on the free breakfast and go for the buffet at Duke’s while you’re there.

Parking fee exorbitant. Resort fee charged but for 2 bottles of water per day and basic internet service. Worst elevator system of any hotel I have ever stayed in.

Property close to beach, however, it was very noisy. I had a nice beach front room that I intended to enjoy. The noise from Dukes late at night, children screaming and playing out on the beach well after 11pm and workers down below made our visit less than restful.

Very nice! Right on the beach. In the heart of downtown where all the shops, dining and bars are! Had an awesome time

There is less than a dozen hotels on the beach on Oahu. This was one if them. Great stay, great service.

I liked the proximity to the beach. My only complaint is the elevators were very slow in the middle of the day.

Location of this place is best of both worlds. It is right on the bustling Wakkei ocean front street filled with restaurants and other shops, and at the same time the ocean front gives a beautiful quiet world. Make sure you choose a room with ocean front view and at a high floor. The balcony is very private and the views are fantastic

I liked being on the beach at Waikiki! Waking up to a beautiful sunrise!

The service was excellent and the location was terrific.

Great location nice area closer to beach, restaurants, shopping but bit expensive. If you look near by hotel you will find cheaper but nicer hotel

I liked the warm welcome, the friendly staff, the view of the beach, the comfortable bed, and the spacious room.

Slow elevators and no smoking. Very crowded on beach. Very small pool.

Staff responded so quick when we call them.,they welcome us very friendly staff.

breakfast buffet and afternoon appetizers /drinks was excellent. staff was friendly and helpful. location great. i would suggest adding grab bars/safety bars in the showers (at least ours didn't have one). why does the pool close at 8 pm?

Location was central and close to everything in Waikiki. Overall service and staff was good. The rooms are a bit dated but that's most of hotels in Honolulu. If you are ones to call it an early night, there is some noise you can hear from the street performers or live music up until around 10:30 or 11 pm, unless it's raining and no one's out there. Not a fault of the hotel but just note.
