Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel is right on the beach, but dated and extremely expensive. Had to call twice and ask for more than three towels when there was 40 of us

It is a large village complex with lots of stores and 3 pools to use. It is almost too large and somewhat confusing to find our way around. Acess to the beach is close and easy to get to. Be aware that Waikiki is a high priced area and this includes meals, both inside the Hilton Village and all nearby restaurants.

The property was very nice although we were booked in their oldeest building... I would uave liked to have been given the options of the other properties...

Location to the beach and shopping area and restaurants.

A big resort at the Waikiki Beach. The room is spacious, clean, and in great condition. Bed is comfortable,

Everything was right there at your feet! Close to stores and sight seeing adventures!

The location is beautiful, but be warned that the way they handle billing is awkward - I had to go to the front desk twice to have my bill resolved. It was never explained to me that parking is included automatically as a $45/day fee in my bill, and so I paid at the kiosk like you would most places. The room was outdated and needed some repainting. All that said, I don't know if there's a nicer overall resort facility in Honolulu, and the view alone was worth the price.

The views were spectacular, the resort was wonderful, every amenity that you could desire.

I love that the property has so many shops and eateries right there, as well as the private lagoon!

The central location on Waikiki Beach made it very easy to walk to other places nearby

Felt mattresses not as comfortable as other Hiltons

On checkin the front desk guy upgraded our room to the Alai tower. Ocean front room had beautiful view of the Friday night fireworks display. Only here one night but very memorable.

nice hotel, great location, near to everything including shopping

need to stay longer. But in all the airline to the hotel and getting the rental car was easy. will do again threw Orbitz

Booked thru orbitz and despite paying over $$$$ a night and status as a Hilton gold member, was placed in the tower furthest from the beach and pool by the main road. I was also told I would collect no points for room or incidentals. I had requested early check in and beach view room. We showed up at @1:30 pm and waited in line for 30 minutes to be told to wait for our room. The room was finally ready at 4:30. Drinks by the crowded pool were dishwater and the slow service was worse. I checked out the next morning and went to the Marriott for a better room with beach view for much less. I had stayed at the Hilton several times years before and they obviously don’t need customers, as the lines to everything were long, but if you want quality and service, don’t go here.

beautiful hotel/property. Double beds are kind of small, but overall a very pleasant experience

I found this hotel not consumer friendly. One, the food is way over priced. Two, they charge $18.00 per day for one chair to use on the beach and $35.00 for an umbrella. Three, their comp!ex is large and not clearly marked so you spend a lot of time walking around seeking a store etc. Three, they do not have a separate exit area/staff to leave so you wait in very long lines with the new entrants, also not noted. The main lobby and taxi area is a nightmare, it is so poorly planned, it is constantly congested... again not in the guests interest. Hilton spent a fortune on beautiful landscaping maybe they should spend more on what makes guests want to come back. We are very disappointed with the apparent lack of caring from this facility.

Nice place for family and kids. Diamond head tower needs a little updating

The hotel wasn't really accommodating and some of the staff was rude. But overall my family and i had a nice experience.
