The gym is not open. There was 3 pieces of equipment in the gym covered with dust. False advertisement. The desk chair in 1712 was covered in stains. Phone reception is horrible. TV does not work or pick up stations in the room.

Right off Michigan Avenue ... Location is fantastic. I have other guest moving to other rooms quite frequently for one reason or another. Actually saw some lady move the refrigerator in her previously assigned room to the new because she needed it for her kids. The hotel is dated minus the lobby but overall, if your just looking for a place to crash and your out sight seeing all day, this hotel will work for you. There are many restaurants and fast food chains around and the supermarkets are a few blocks away.

The hotel has aged and it shows. The rate seemed great considering its location but then after I checked-in, the front desk said I needed a $75.00 deposit for each night. This is after I paid with Paypal. Then there was the $59.00 per night parking. The price per night was no bargain considering the other costs. Also, the front desk gave us a key to a room that was out-of-service. After I returned and got another key, she stated by room number was 2204 when it was written down on the key envelop as 2202? The front desk was a mess. They were steady busy but not in a hurry busy. The room was OK but there was no frig or microwave. The room coffee was good. The cleaning staff was excellent as was the valet. When I checked-out, they said I would get my deposit back in 7 to 10 days. This is not 1960. It doesn't take that long to process a refund. This hotel was not honest with me with the price and I am not happy they couldn't even give me a room correctly.

The hotel room we stayed in looked for the 70s. Lobby is nice but rooms are sub par. Mirror in bathroom was coated with black stuff around the edge, cracked ceilings, decors is old but you get what you pay for. Tv didn’t work 90% of the time and when we asked for it to be fixed we felt like we were nuisance to the staff for a simple request. Terrace is extremely cool minus the broken glass panel that should be replaced.

never again to come back in that hotel reception staff have bad manners

Needs updating. Older property but room was rather meh. Tv was hard to use. Bathroom needed paint. Average at best.

It is an older building but the location was the key! Would stay there again for sure.

Location and proximity to mag mile and navy pier and seven eleven

I am concerned about bed bugs transferring to my clothes and luggage. The tub filled with water when I showered due to clogged drain. The sink didn’t have hot water for me to shave. The hotel didn’t have silver or plastic ware to eat my food that was delivered. The ac unit in my room barely kept the room cool and it emitted a foul odor. All this for $1000 for the night.

The room was in terrible condition . The Terrance furniture lacked cushions.

The lobby looks nice, but the rooms haven't been updated since the 1980s. Musty smell and unclean in general. It is, however, a good location and has a cool rooftop lookout.

There was no Television available. After reaching out, still no Television provided. Toilet ran all night. Never was fixed. No valet available after a certain hour. Forced to park on the street, and received a ticket. No compensation for any event. (Paid $334 for the room)

The lobby was reasonably nice, but the room was horribly outdated. The carpet was all bunched up and a used toothbrush left in bathroom. Toilet ran all the time and TV did not work. I had booked for 2 nights, but didn’t even stay the 2nd. I tried to get a refund from the hotel, they said I had to call Orbitz. I called Orbitz and they said I had to call the hotel. I will never stay at that hotel again or use Orbitz again! Customer service is clearly not Orbitz strong suit...

Unique is location. The main lobby, bar, reception area and cafe is perfect!!!! because it has been updated. It is so comfortable. THEN the rooms!! they are not updated. They are clean but they are dated. Just sayin. Have stayed there several times if you look it up
