First Glimpse
AmaWaterways' 212-passenger AmaKatarina plies Russia's Volga-Baltic Waterway from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

Here's what you can expect to find on an AmaKatarina cruise:

Cruising is nearly all-inclusive. Beyond the standards -- food, cabin, entertainment -- there's beer and wine with dinner, unlimited Internet access (including Wi-Fi), guided tours in each port and a daily Champagne breakfast.

Shore excursions include visits to the Kremlin and Hermitage Museum. Additionally, passengers are treated to an exclusive ballet performance at Hermitage Theatre. They even enjoy a specially-arranged visit to the home of a local Russian family in Uglich. Bicycles are also available for passenger use in port.

Cabins range from tiny 110-square-foot riverview accommodations to the 432-square-foot Imperial Suite. Seventy-six of the 106 cabins feature small balconies, and all have hair dryers, TV's, refrigerators and safes.

Onboard activities focus on local culture. These include music performances, Russian language classes and lectures from experts on topics such as Russia's history, culture, art, politics and economy.
