First Glimpse The 398-passenger Century Legend inaugurated in 2013 alongside its identical fleetmate, Century Paragon -- is a chartered ship offering luxury river cruising on the Yangtze River. The ship visits exotic sites including Lhasa, the ancient capital city of Tibet and holy land of the region; the Great Wall of China; and Jiangsu's Gardens of Suzhou, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The ship has two restaurants, two bars, a cinema, an indoor lap pool with relaxation area and pool bar, a fitness center, spa, beauty salon, game room, reading room and boutique. Passengers take classes in areas such as Tai Chi, folk dance and Chinese calligraphy.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the ship has a propulsion system that minimizes vibrations and noise while increasing maneuverability. The ship is also equipped with surveillance for safety and security. Each cabin has a private balcony, sitting area, mini-bar, bath tub, complimentary Wi-Fi and satellite LED TV.
Upon arrival, passengers receive complimentary fruit baskets. They also receive complimentary coffee, tea and 24 hours a day; a complimentary cocktail reception before dinner each night (excluding the captain's farewell dinner); one complimentary sauna visit; dining in the Executive VIP Restaurant with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks at dinner; concierge services; and express check-in and check-out.
