mcs cruise worce I have ever had
by Delbert G from Texas
Sailing date:
Jun 2010
Pros:
the service was good
Cons:
the food and drinks and schedule of meals
the MSC Fantisha was in good shape the staff were good. The schedule and cost just to be on the ship was unbelivable. no beverages were included in the price of the cruise not water or coffee. No ice tea was to be found. If a glass could be found it was very small. Water for lunch and dinner was 2.06 EU. All and all the I would not go on the cruise again.

Nice but expensive cruise
by Gil M from columbus ga
Sailing date:
Apr 2009
Pros:
Nice ship with good ports of call
Cons:
very, very few americans, and not so many english speakers. Many shore excursions (most) were conducted in several languages which was boring and time consuming.
The ship charges extra for many things that are free on US cruise ships. For instance, no free coffee after breakfast, (10 am). The gratuities are automatically charged to your account, even though you may have received poor service. Your only choice is to give extra. This is another way for the cruise line to charge more for the cruise than the stated price. Some staff are ok, particularly the waiter staff in the main restaurants. Not so in the speciality restaurants, which are also expensive. Others are surly, particularly the reception crew, which Americans have to deal with regularly. You won't enjoy that part. The ship itself is very comfortable. Overall a fair cruise, just take along plenty of extra money.
