A Great Experience! by
Mai C. from Fayetteville, NC Sailing date: Sep 2008Pros: Everything! Food, service, shows...all were fantastic! Cons: none...the fact that we didn't get to disembark at grand cayman but its due to the waves...nothing that can be controlled The ship was huge! I love the promenade... Ship QualityAll were well kept and clean. Dining/FoodFood was the best... both the main dining and the windjammer Stateroom QualityThe room was small but the stateroom attendant was very good and kept it neat. Ship Staff QualityEvery one of the staff was awesome. Evrybody was more than willing to help and was very good at what they do. Jigger, our witer and asst waiter, George, did an outstanding job. Our stateroom attendant, Tyrone, was very good too
Entertainment & Activitiesthere were a lot of things to do..all u need to do as a guest is get out there and get into the activities. The ice show was fantastic also with the singers and dancers. The game shows were so funny and entertaining.

Cozumel, MexicoThe best thing to do is to take a $10 cab ride to Chankanaab and do everything there....they have everything from swimming with dolphins to snorkeling....

Don't Miss: probably the big zip line.... Ocho Rios, JamaicaThe Dunn's River Falls is a must do....although we didn't dock on Ocho Rios but in Montego

Cozumel, MexicoA day in Cozumel.
My day here was alot of fun and our tour guides were very friendly and funny.
Don't Miss: Dune buggy excursion. Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)A day in Labadee.
I think it was a nice place but the constant competition with the vendors doesnt really give you a chance to enjoy your shopping experience. If they alow you to look without the constant pressure they put on people to buy they would sell alot more stuff but many people including myself ended up leaving without being able to shop for everything I was looking for due to that problem.
Don't Miss: The beach. George Town, Grand CaymanA day in Grand Cayman.
I had a good time there.
Don't Miss: Submarine excursion. Ocho Rios, JamaicaA day in Ocho Rios.
I had a wonderful time in jamaica. Our tour guide was awesome.
Don't Miss: The jeep safari and the dunns falls. 8 out of 12 people found this review helpful.

Plenty of activities- your cruise is wha by
Maureen from Indianapolis, IN Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: It is so large, you never really feel crowded or wait very long for anything. Being our first cruise, we had very high expectations and Mariner delivered. There was plenty to do and see and staff was fantastic. You can participate in group activities or virtually be alone in a quiet corner of a lounge at any given time. The crowd was a little "grayer" than I expected, but they still had many things aimed at pleasing a younger audience. Dining/FoodBuffet was OK but formal dining was excellent.
Stateroom QualityHaving a promenade view made the room appear larger.

Cococay (Cruiseline Private Island)Beautiful tiny island.
It was just a very relaxing day in the sand and because it's owned by RC, there are no beggars bothering you on the beach.
Don't Miss: The hammocks. Philipsburg, St. MaartenBeautiful.
Go to the main street on French side for best shops and better food, too. The beach is great but a lot of people trying to sell crap and braid your hair. Many beaches are topless so if nudity offends you, don't go (it's really no big deal though).
Don't Miss: Beaches walk up beach bar/restaurant. 6 out of 7 people found this review helpful.

Cozumel, MexicoDon't Miss: Take the excursions on Cozumel so that you can experience the natural beauty of the island. Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)Don't Miss: Spend your entire time on the beach (the far side is nicer and less crowded). George Town, Grand CaymanDon't Miss: Snorkeling, shopping, 7 mile beach. Ocho Rios, JamaicaDon't Miss: If you have time, definitely take the Shaw Park tour, which was a very interesting 'jungle garden.' We also had a great time climbing the Dunns River Falls (scary but fun too.) There are several place 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

Cococay (Cruiseline Private Island)Coco Cay.
A nice diversion from the main destination.
Don't Miss: Lunch. Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.St. Thomas first timer.
It is very scenic and a worthwhile visit, but after all it is just another Caribbean Island.
Don't Miss: The native restaurants. Philipsburg, St. MaartenSt. Maartin.
Very unique, but not much difference between Dutch and French parts of the island. Lots of poverty noted behind the postcard scenes.
Don't Miss: The nude beach. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
