  Almost perfect. by
Mark from Staten Island, NY Sailing date: Jul 2007Pros: Many great features except for sheer qualtity of people on board. Can't say enough good about the trip, staff, food, entertainment, etc. Fantastic except for one detail. Seemed like far too many people were on boat. Food areas were often packed and the pool situation was unacceptable. We had 4 opportunities to disembark and chose none so that we could have access to the pools! You can do better. Rather than 3,300 people and 1,200 staff, maybe 2,500 people and 1,000 staff would be more appropriate for the ship. Dining/Food

Very fun and memorable trip. Excellent s by
Choy from Brooklyn, New York, USA Sailing date: Jun 2007Pros: Excellent service, food, and the decor was luxurious and elegant. This is my second time cruising. This cruise was very luxurious. The staff members were all so kind and friendly. I felt very pampered. The food tasted delicious! You can never starve on this ship. Nonetheless, you can never be bored either - so many things to do such as shopping, gambling at the casino, karaoke nights, taking portrait pictures, spa treatments, fitness center, and so much more the list can go on. The cruise had a wave pool and it was so much fun. I enjoyed the beaches very much. The water was beautiful and clear where I can actually see my foot! Definitely one of the best cruise I've been on and will definitely go back again. Everything was so elegant in terms of the champagne waterfall show, the 'titanic' staircase, the grand piano and so much more. My friends and I had a wonderful time and the staff members made it even more memorable. Definitely should go if you have never been there. It's already been two weeks since I came back to NYC and I am thinking of going on another cruise at the end of this year. Imagine how you would feel after you go on this one - totally worth it! Entertainment & ActivitiesActivities: I really enjoyed the casino. I spent every night there. The staff members were extremely nice and I couldn't have asked for more. The waitors/waitress were very kind too. Always there when we needed a drink or something to eat. Fitness center was clean and did not have to wait to use machines. Everyone minded their own business so no need to feel intimidated.
Entertainment: The shows every night was very interesting. I enjoyed the 'Motown' show very much. Great singing and acting.

  A great cruise by
ava from Phoenix, AZ Sailing date: Mar 2011Pros: Ports of call, all excursions were awesome, Comic show in Explorer bar was great, very funny Cons: Entertainement in Princess Theater was poor quality, Crown Princess is a beautifull Ship Ship Quality
Dining/FoodFood was great , best quality seafood !, lots of choices, Restaurants as well as Buffets were very good: food and service, extremly well trained crew Stateroom Qualityroom was clean, big, lots of mirrows, it was very nice , didn't expect so much Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & Activitieslike I said, Princess Theater Shows, not really my "cup of tea", but Comic's in Explorer Bar were great Children's Programswe have 2 kids : one teen and one 4. Both of them loved that. We hardly saw our kids. The younger one couldn't wait to go to Kid's Club each morning. it was great for us, thank you Princess Cruise 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

  Just a great vacation by
Marla & Barry from Montreal, Canada Sailing date: Feb 2010Pros: service, port(s) of call, food, relaxation Cons: bed, overcharge for extras, the shower? The crew will do whatever it takes to make your trip a great experience. Always there for you. They do try selling you things like cookbooks and other extras. A bit of a pain after a while, but none the less, amazing.
The bed sucks. a crap matress at best. The shower is more like a stand-up transporter from star trek. At least they should put in a hand held shower head. And -buy some decent matresses. A european pull out aint for me!
Stay away from the "shops" in Cozumel. Rip joints selling garbage. Too many "extras" that cost a bundle. $30 for fountain coke, $2 a expresso, $50 a picture, ect. ect.
Roatan is the most wonderful place and you can get tours off boat at less then 1/2 price. Same goes for everywhere.
We would definitly go again but on another itinerary! Ship Quality
Dining/FoodTOO MUCH!!! I gained 10 lbs! Lobster, steak, desserts!!!! Stateroom Quality

  Good Cruise. by
James from USA Sailing date: Jul 2007Pros: Ship was large and nice looking in the public areas. Rooms too small. Good Cruise, but too many people and service suffers. The shows were good, but not enough seats in the common areas, had to stand for several shows, this is not fair. Also people hog all the seats by the pools, never could get a seat. Food was good, but no midnight buffets. Problem is the volume of people, you do not get enough attention. In addition, on the 9 day cruise not enough time was spent on the islands, it was a rush each day and not a full day. Need overnight stays on ports of call and not rush with a four hour visit. Dining/Food

  It was OK. by
Krisi from Bath, PA Sailing date: Jan 2007Great ports of call, decent food, great cabins and steward service. Entertainment was low class & tacky, we've seen better signing in karioke bars. The wait staff was awful, quick to remove your plates from under your nose (gotta clear that table!) but getting a drink was difficult. Much easier to go to the bar and get your own.
