Over all a good experience by
A Traveler from Germany Sailing date: Jun 2013Pros: Food Cons: fees not being fully explained The overall crew was wonderful by the 3rd day they remembered our daughters name and where so helpful. The cabin was inside with a window and was a good size the room was kept up multiple times every day although we didn't request it to be. I recommend looking into sure excursions on your own or once you get to the location the ones provided by the actual cruise line are over expensive and in some cases we found the local transportation cheaper. other than those minor things it was a good experience. Children's ProgramsThere was a program for 3 and above but there was no other form of childcare for to get children that could not be taken to the casino or to other events on the cruise so it limited what could be done. Our daughter is 2 and we couldn't even leave her to play with the other children. The room they have for 2 and below is not good at, there was way out dated toys and nothing else in the room for them to do. It was very disappointing. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Great cruise! by
Abbey A from Lawrence, KS Sailing date: May 2013Pros: Entertainment in the evening Cons: the location and noise level of our stateroom It was a great cruise experience, with excellent ports of call, entertainment, food, service, and accommodations. We were new to the Freestyle cruising, so didn't quite bring dressy enough clothes, but still had a blast. Service was great. I do wish we would have had more time at many of the ports, and we were disappointed with the extremely slow disembarkation process (which was communicated too quietly) the morning we left. We picked up luggage tags to disembark at 8:15AM and didn't get off the ship til at least an hour later. Ship QualityWe were pleasantly surprised that at many times on this cruise ship we could actually feel alone... this was different than on previous cruises we have taken with different companies. It didn't seem too crowded, and we never had to wait in line at the buffet. However, on days at sea it was practically impossible to find a chair in the sun. Dining/FoodWe had to wait with a buzzer almost every night we chose to dine in one of the two free restaurants. Otherwise, though, the food was great! Stateroom QualityThe size and cleanliness of the room was superb; however, we were selected to stay in room 4501 which was was very loud due to its proximity in the front and bottom of the ship. We were awakened many times throughout the night as we were pulling into ports or as the engine started/stopped. Ship Staff QualityWe found the bar staff to be wonderful! They were very personable and made our evenings a treat. It may sound silly but I was disappointed to have not received more than 2 towel animals in the evening. Entertainment & ActivitiesExcellent entertainment in the evening! The magicians and gymnasts made great shows, and the on-board dancers and singers were great every night! 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

Norwegian Jade 7 days Greek Isles Cruise by
Ulian B from Ukraine Sailing date: Aug 2012Pros: Nice ship and great service plus good quality entertainment, food in general was good and Asian/Japanese speciality restaurants were quite good. Cons: Shore excursions too expensive, some speciality restaurants (French, steakhouse) are nothing special, hidden taxes in costs of drinks that are quite expensive The ship is quite good and the team is good too. They offer good food and entertainment. The gym is large enough and properly equipped. Everything is kept clean and shiny. Staff is friendly and helpful. On the negative side, some of speciality restaurants (French, steakhouse) are nothing special and one could get better services in the main restaurant for free whereas Asian/Japanese restaurants are quite good and forth visiting. Shore excursions are quite expensive and usually not forth the money - it is cheaper to rent a car on the shore for a few hours and explore islands on your own. Ship Quality

  Great ports, not relaxing by
A Traveler from San Diego, CA Sailing date: Jun 2012Cons: Constant announcements in the guestroom areas waking me up The itinerary was great, and most of the on-board entertainment was really fun. The performers in all of the shows were great, and I was never bored. But, there were almost constant announcements over the PA in guestroom areas that woke me up in the morning and during daytime/evening naps (it was our honeymoon, we needed rest!). The content of the announcements was always unnecessary and repeated in 7 languages. Ship QualityThere were only 2 pools, both were very small and crowded. It was impossible to swim laps or relax in the pool without people running into you. Dining/FoodThe free dining options were mostly really good. After the first day or two we figured out what we liked and there was great variety. Stateroom QualityThe room was tiny, but the bed was very comfortable. It was too close to a hallway speaker so the room was very loud. Ship Staff QualityMost staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the cruise director and his close staff. Other staff/bartenders were annoyingly chipper and asked too many personal questions. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe nightly shows were very well put together, and the special events during our days at sea were fun to watch (ex. the jazz band, Cole Porter's hits, etc) 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Corfu, Greece
Mykonos, GreeceNot much to do there.
Santorini, GreeceThe volcano tour was awesome. The shopping very good.
Katakolon (Olympia), GreeceVert expensive to get to Olympia. Would suggest to share cab if possible-80 EUROS for one cab. The cab driver would only wait an hour. Not enough time to see the extravasion sites and the museums. The shops at Katakolon were very nice.

  A very enjoyable experience by
Richard R from toms river nj Sailing date: May 2010Pros: suite and service Cons: limited free activities this was our first cruise with the norwegein line. We loved the suite in the back of the ship on deck 8. the service was excellent. We found the choices of free eating to be limited to only the dining rooms and the garden cafe. The other places had very limited menues. To play bingo you had to pay and were given many extra cost choices for more play.
You could not get a free soda or drink any where on the boat. Even in the casino you had to pay for any beverage no matter how much money you gambled. You also did not get any free shuttles off the boat even if you only wanted to go to the port of call. Ship Quality
