We enjoyed the cruise and all its experiences it had to offer. The service was great! Loved the freestyle dining. Enjoyed the easy on and off at every port of call, and the meals provided while in at the ports. This was a first cruise for my boyfriend and I. We did get a little seasick for the first two days, but after that subsided we had a great time. Other people that we spoke too on the ship that had cruised before and had been on the Spirit before said that the ship was moving more than it usually does. We loved our balcony room and now cannot imagine booking another cruise without one. The staff was extremely friendly, we loved the food (and have the added weight to prove it), the excursions and the destinations were absolutely top notch. We had an amazing time and plan to cruise again ASAP. We had a great time on this trip. We found it to be a great value for the money. Our party was I, my husband, two teenagers and an 8 year old. It is hard to plan vacations to satisfy everyone, but we all had fun. The food on the whole was quite good in the main dining rooms. The buffet was pretty good-some hits, some misses, but fine for snacks and quick meals. The public areas are nice, especially the pools. My 8 year old loved the kids pool, in the back of the ship, and the multi decks back there made it easy to keep an eye on him, and still have a peaceful place to hang out. The day entertainment was fair, although the bands by the pool were pretty good. We went to the evening entertainment most nights and enjoyed it. The itinerary is only okay. There isn't much to do in Port Canaveral unless you are going to the Orlando parks. The best part of the trip was the private island, beautiful! We brought our own masks and snorkles (a good idea).
