The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpfull. Room was nice and very clean. All act by Michael from Iowa Sailing date: Mar 2007 General experience was good. Itinery was great. Onboard activities lacking for mid 50's age group. Plenty of time at pot of calls..My only complaint is that the average age of passengers in the ship is very high. Their entertainment is also tuned to 70s! We enjoyed the cruise,the ship is old,but clean and comfortable. My wife and I do not get much if a chance to travel. When we do we always upgrade and pay a little extra for more comfort and better experience overall. I was disapointed with the overall value of this trip. The whole cruise experience to me seems to be like a tourist trap. Ship Details: Dining/Food Service was excellent. Stateroom Quality Tight accomadations and noise from next cabin was very loud. Most often after 12 am. We just stayed close to port to shop and eat. Very good experience. Don't Miss: Local vendors and food. Halifax, Nova Scotia Peggys cove. Wonderfull little village and worth the trip. Save time and skip lunch. Don't Miss: Peggys cove. Saint John, New Brunswick To little time. Just walked to shopping district. Met some of the friendliest people.
