  Great Time by
Sheryl R from Agawam, MA Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: Always something to do Cons: Exiting ship should have been two lines one from frt & one from back of ship Layout of ship easy to navigate. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodSeveral options for dining. Set time or open seating. When changing menu & Lido deck stations were closed just order room service. Stateroom QualityVery pleased with our room size & balcony. Bigger than ships we had been on. Ship Staff QualityRoom staff always checked with us if we needed anything. Photographer was a riot. Diningstaff worked well together. All the staff very pleasant & friendly. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were phenomenal. The music shows had my family dancing. Comedy shows changed nightly. Great.

Grand Turk IslandTo much devastation from a hurricane. Governors Beach was nice. But, do not waste time on historic tour. Island is very flat & small. Nothing to see but beach.
San Juan, Puerto RicoOld San Juan beautiful old city with much history. The forts & cobblestone streets must see if into history. Also, my husband enjoys shopping in this city. He can walk along drinking & shopping. Enjoyable.
Don't Miss: El Morro & San Cristobal. The Forts Charlotte Amalie, St. ThomasThe tour had history with historical sites, Black Beards Castle, 99 steps, shopping & site seeing. Also, Magens Bay for swimming. Great Beach. Very clean Island. A Beautiful island with hills & flowers.
Don't Miss: Magens Bays Beach & Black Beards Castle, 99 steps 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

  great cruise by
Lisa A from West Reading, PA Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: the shows were great Cons: there wasnt a good selection of food for after hours We cruised on Carnival Miracle and the ship was great, the sea was very calm at the time of travel and I didn't get sea sick big plus for me. Ship QualityCarnival Miracle is a Large ship, the state room we had was very spacious (bigger then what we expected), the shops are pretty much the same as all the other cruises that we took, you shop one cruise on the ship you should pretty much expect the same on the other cruise you take. plenty of areas to sit and relax and view the sea as you cruise. Dining/Foodthe dining area was very pretty. wasnt to thrilled with the selection of food after hours, prettym much limited to pizza or ice cream, you could use room service but who wants to run to there room everytime you wanted a snack? Quality of food was good. We didn't try the specialty dining only because we were a little tight on money. Stateroom Qualitywe had a room with obstructed view which was fine for us, the room to our surprise was larger then what we were expecting. the room was clean and beautifully decorated. Ship Staff QualityEveryone was very friendly and curtious very willing to attend your needs. Entertainment & Activitieswith the exception of one night all the shows were terrific. Children's Programsour older son stayed with camp carnival for pretty much the whole cruise, He enjoyed very much.

  A wonderful, fun-filled cruise by
Patricia R. from Marion, IA Sailing date: May 2009Pros: The many options for food, seating all around the ship, stores Cons: Photos being taken just as we were starting dinner every night The ship was beautiful; the ways the theme was presented was phenominal. The dining room was really elegant and we had so much fun listening to the waiters/waittresses perform every evening at dinner.
The spa was very relaxing and my husband got a massage that really helped his lower back. Ship QualityEverything was very convenient and accessible; all areas were kept clean and ready for the next person or party of people. Shp size was very impressive. Dining/FoodExcellent. The Supper Club was so magnificent; the sevice rceived was something we will always remember, and the price was very affordable! Stateroom QualityThe shower could use a bar for holding on for stabilization. The condition of our stateroom was very clean and in good condition. The bed was not quite as comfortable as one would like. Ship Staff QualityVery cheerful, helpful, efficient and everyone was so polite. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe entertainment was absolutely fabulous; very professional and the variety of shows was just great!

Grand Turk IslandThe shops were a lot of fun to visit and the pool was quite large. We found the ocean there quite rocky, but had a lot of fun swimming.
Don't Miss: Pool at Marguritaville Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)The glassbottom boat tour was very infomative and interesting; being out on the water was just wonderful
Don't Miss: Swimming in the aqua waters of the ocean; so peaceful and beautiful Nassau, BahamasThe Atlantis tour was very informative, and the surrounding grounds were very beautiful. The shops were fun for buying souvenirs.

  Our 1st Cruise by
Lynn L from Cranford, NJ Sailing date: May 2009Pros: There was nothing to not like. Everyone was wonderful and friendly. The food was terrific and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Cons: The only thing I can think of is the smoking in the casino. We would have liked a non smoking casino. But everything else was great The ship had everything you could think of. We had fun and really enjoyed the dancers and the shows. Your staff, Douglas and Percy, at our dinner made us feel like friends. We had a great time with them. Our steward, Joel, and his staff were excellent. They were helpful and kept our cabin so clean and neat. They answered all our questions and got what ever we needed. All in all we had a great time and can't wait to do another cruise. Ship Quality

Grand Turk IslandThe beach was rocky and hard to walk on. We were not prepared for this. We didn't find the pool until we were ready to leave for the ship. But it was nice.
Don't Miss: Pool Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)This was the best stop. We had a blast in the water, which was so blue and clear and not waves. We could walk way out and we did. We had so much fun and we hated to leave.
Don't Miss: swimming in the water Nassau, BahamasNassau was nice but it rained in the morning and the sun did not come out until we left. We took the Discover Atlantis tour and were a little disappointed with the tunnel. It appears much bigger in their commercials. Things were extremely expensive for our taste.
Don't Miss: If the sun is out, go to the pool 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  Good cruise by
Mark M from Iowa Sailing date: Feb 2009Pros: Cozumel and Roatan Honduras were a nice surprise Cons: Belize is not what you expect. Poverty is everywhere..not the pristine area you think. The ship and crew were nice. This ship is a bit dated and the pools and recreation were a disappointment. I have been on a lot of Carnival ships and this one had an older crowd. I am not young, but felt like the activities were not geared towards "fun ship" activities I had seen on other ships. If you like to party and party a lot, do not pick this cruise. If you like moderate activity and then complete quiet by 10PM this is the ship for you.
I would also recommend that you get a balcony and if possible, on the port side as it is the side that most often is facing shore as you dock.
Belize we did the cave and zip line tour and would have rather done the zip line only. We did not have much zip line and unless you really like dark and damp caves, the experience is average.
The crew again was very nice and very well trained...we were never let down on the service.

  A wonderful cruise by
Anna V. from Detroit, MI Sailing date: Feb 2009Pros: Excellent for kids Cons: Very expensive Wi-Fi We recently sailed on the Carnival Miracle. Compare to the Celebrity Millennium we cruised 7 years ago, this cruise was more casual, dining was good, but less fancy. From the other hand, our grandson loved his club a lot, which was very important for us. The crew was very friendly, all areas were kept extremely clean. We did not like "Dolphin ride" excursion in Cosumel: for $165.00 per person one dolphin served 10 tourists. The same type in Key Largo is so much better: 2 dolphins served 2 swimmers. Tabyany beach on Isla Roatan was fabulous, though. I think that $50.00 for 100 minutes Wi-Fi internet from your own laptop is ridiculously expensive.
