Exceeded all Expectations by
A Traveler from The Woodlands, Texas Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The sit-down dining food and service were really spectacular Cons: The Stage shows were pretty lame The ship was cleaner and nicer than I expected. We bought a cheap cabin and it was really nice (small but nice). The public areas were expansive and again clean. Dining/FoodProbably the best feature of the cruise. My waiter was great and the food was top notch. I did not expect that level of quality Stateroom QualityOur attendant did a great job - could not ask for better. Ship Staff QualityTruly nice people. Entertainment & ActivitiesWe spent a lot of time in the casino listening to the band and dancing the night away - they were 4 really talented people. All of the lounge shows were really great! We were not too impressed with the stage shows - but we are pretty jaded at this point from traveling the world.

Cozumel, MexicoWe went to Talume - this was really great. We shopped and had a great time. I'd go back there in a minute.
George Town, Grand CaymanShopping is the attraction here. There is not much to see. We should have stayed right in the downtown area - it was great.
Don't Miss: Jimmy Buffet's place was fun Montego Bay, JamaicaI don't like Jamaica. However the tour was good, the bus was nice and driver did a fine job.

  Great cruise by
Paul L. from Spring, Texas Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: relaxation Cons: Dinner timing. We would rather have had an earlier dinner seating should have had better security on each floor. children were romping throughout each floor and running wild from 6pm to midnight. Ship Qualityneeds better lighting on signs and directions. we kept getting lost. Dining/Foodespecially the service. Stateroom Qualitycouldn't be better Ship Staff Qualityoverall good. only one incident. the matri-d closed the door on my neices face two minutes before opening the dining room while we were waiting on line to dine. I thought that was petty. Entertainment & Activitiesespecially the two singers in front of the open bar.

  A Great Honeymoon! by
Jim B. from College Station, TX Sailing date: May 2009Pros: The service on the ship, the food, and the activities. Cons: The shows onboard were so-so. We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon aboard the Carnival Conquest. We sailed from Galveston and went to Jamaica and the Grand Caymon. The staff and crew onboard the Conquest were awesome and the food was great too. Too many things to write! I recommend this cruise to anyone and everyone. Ship Quality

  Nothing spectacular by
Ralph C from Dallas, Tx Sailing date: Apr 2009Pros: The shows were top notch. The first show was boring and left alot to be desired. Cons: The main dining food was so-so. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable The opening show, "Point and Click" was terrible. The singers sounded like lounge singers. The dancers were very good and got better as the cruise went on. The main dining food was boring and in some cases, plain bad. The Point diner was excellent! Our table partners wound up eating there 4 out of the 7 nights. The activities were the same as other Carnival cruises. The shore excursions were pretty good. In Gran Cayman, we went to "Hell" and it was exactly that. It needs to be dropped from the agenda. Ship QualityOld boat, needs to be updated. Dining/FoodMain dining was boring. The service was fair. The head waiter spent more time with the table of single women than with our family table. Stateroom QualityBeds are terrible. Ship Staff QualityMr. Brooks, the golf pro was very helpful and fun to be around. The staff was exactly what you would expect from a service driven company. Entertainment & ActivitiesActivites need to be updated. Same programs as our first cruise 5 years ago.

Cozumel, Mexico3 reef snorkel was very cool. Our dive master, Monty, did a wonderful job pointing out the different sea life.
George Town, Grand CaymanSting rays and turtles were amazing and a lot of fun. 'Hell' is a tourist trap and not worth the stop.
Montego Bay, JamaicaGo to the Sandels resort. Top notch. Only problem is the 'all you can drink' bar. Several folks go drunk and were more than obscene.

We took a taxi on our own to a local beach. Great value, beautiful beach.
