OK for the price by
Dee L. from Michigan Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: Our housekeeping steward was wonderful! Cons: kids running wild Overall, it was a good cruise/trip for under $200/person. My second Carnival cruise, I was not very impressed. It was better this time, but still lots of kids with no restrictions. Crowd was a bit younger, a lot of the people I encountered were wasted, getting wasted, imappropriately dressed and sometimes acting inappropriately. I prefer a more mature crowd and less of the "party party" atmosphere. Ship Quality

Ship Staff QualityWe had a wonderful room attendant & waiter at the evening dinner meal. However the other staff often looked to be irritated working there, sometimes rude, etc. Entertainment & Activities

First-timer cruiser on Carnival Imagine by
Donna T. from Palm Coast, FL Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: Our spacious stateroom Cons: The high price of the photos they were taking on board. The service was great, the ship was in good shape and very clean. Food was quite good. The entire staff went out of their way to satisfy us. The people we met on board were loads of fun. Just had a great time and we highly reccommend a weekend cruise. Anything more we would have been bored. Different venues such as a jazz night club that you can get sexy with your man would have been cool. Also I would have enjoyed one of the nights to feature more old-school club music verses the latest in '09 hip-hop. Over-all we would do it again to a different port of call. Once you've seen Nassau, really no desire to go back. Ship QualityGet a big stateroom with a balcony. Well worth the price. Dining/FoodOpen dining is offers flexability. We liked that. Dinner in the dining room was OK. I would have enjoyed the opportunity to dine in a more intimate atmosphere however. Stateroom QualityThe upper stateroom is worth it. Ship Staff Quality

  A wonderful cruise by
Delia C. from Hollywood, FL Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The boat was very clean, food was great, activities plenty for all ages. Cons: Railing - unsafe in my opinion, my 18 months old had to be strictly supervised the rooms were pretty spacious ( I was expecting way worse) - very clean, the steward did a great job every day, the food was great and plenty. The crew was very friendly and even though there were almost 2000 people on the boat we didn't feel crowded at all. Everything very well organized, embarkation, debarkation, security, timing for dinner etc. Nobody tried to sell me anything - everything was there but it was my choice to buy it or not. Absolutely a MUST GO vacation - tones of fun at a great price.
For peoples with little children - please be aware that the kids must be supervised strictly at all times, because in my opinion the railing is not very safe. This is the only thing that I didn't like about the boat. Ship Qualitythe ride was very smooth, didn't feel a thing - no engine noise or any other kind of noise that would bother me. Our room was forward, on the 7th deck (Empress) - ocean view room. Dining/FoodYou MUST try the Melting Chocolate Cake Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Qualityvery friendly and well organized. Entertainment & Activitieseven though with little kids we didn't participate in any, there were crew members constantly organizing games, trivia, music all over the boat.

Dining/Foodlong lines for food, if you want hamburgers and hotdogs everyday, those lines were shorter Stateroom Qualityroom was very nice Ship Staff Qualitystaff is very friendly and accomodating Entertainment & Activitiesif you have late seating you miss alot of activities b/c the service takes too long. better off not doing formal seating Children's Programswe dont have kids so we didint use this, but I can see there are lots of things for kids to do, if you want to take advantage of that

  A Memorable Vacation!! by
Erica C. from Dallas, TX Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: Always felt pampered and cared for.... Cons: It goes by too fast! The Ship was very nice, VERY clean and a very well layed out ship that had almost everything you can think of. From Laundry rooms, babysitting, to private cafe', to jog or walking track, Gym or Spa !!! and all the food and entertainment you can think of. For us a family of 4 it was Totally Awsome... Ship QualityNever had to go too far for lavatories and found stairs, elevators and many aleternate routes to make the ship very accessible.. Dining/FoodAlways a delight! Great food and Service. We were so impressed to see what a great meal and it's included!! Wow. Stateroom QualityI have to say, VERY nice. Always felt that our room was always tidied ( 2 times a day!!) and found cute towel decorations at night :) Ship Staff QualityGoing above and beyond is mild. These people work VERY hard to please as many as 900+ passengers with many that are hard to please, but you will always see a SMILE!! Entertainment & ActivitiesOkay, get ready to not be bored! This ship had something for everyone and a very neat daily schedule provided for you to be well prepared. Also, if you wanted to just relax Many quiet lounges to suite your mood. Nice Job! Children's ProgramsVery cleaver, having a 9 and 11 year old made it fun to enjoy evening parties and movies just for them! They were always secure and we found time to catch an evening show, or just enjoy a jacuzzi and drink. A mini-date on our Cruise!! Sweet deal....

Key West, FloridaOur Favorite! After breakfast we went to port, did some shopping and then we went parasailing and had a Blast!! My 11yr. old had the "Best Vacation" ever!!! My nine year old could agree as he enjoyed the speed of the boat while we parasailed :)
Don't Miss: Seabago water sports!! Nassau, BahamasIt was nice, but it was too short as it rained a few hours after arriving. We did get to visit Atlantis. Do not miss this place. WOW!!!
Don't Miss: Atlantis Aquarium 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

  Mediocre Cruise by
Karen M from Florida Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: The food on the cruise was awesome and plentiful! Cons: The ship only has one place to shop for souvenirs. The ship we were on was mediocre at best because it really doesn't have very much to offer young adults who do not drink. There are a few shows at night that were well done by the dancers but this ship is geared towards young adults who like to party. The food was awesome and very plentiful. You can get pizza 24 hours a day which helps out if you come in late from an excursion or you just get hungry! The crew on the ship were wonderful and very friendly. Ship QualityThe ship's quality in comparison to other ships in the fleet is average. I have been on other ships in this fleet and they are better suited toward adults that do not drink. Dining/FoodThe food is very good and plentiful! Stateroom QualityThe stateroom we were in was recently refurbished and was in very good condition. The steward we had was wonderful! Ship Staff QualityAll of the crew we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe entertainment we watched (shows) at night were very well done. There needs to be more entertainment for those of us that do not drink and party all night. There are definitely not enough shops on the ship....only one that sells souvenirs!

Nassau, BahamasI was very disappointed in the port at Nassau. There is really not much to see there unless you go out to the beach.
Don't Miss: The mini-submarine. It was so much fun! 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful.
