  Awesome Cruise by
Silvana C from Los Angeles, California Sailing date: Jun 2010Pros: I loved everything!!!! Cons: I would have liked them to honk the horn every time we left port and annouce when arrive at a new port. The ship was wonderful! It had all the ammenities available. The crew personal were nice and friendly. Ship QualityThe ship was very clean. the decor was nice but too much green. Dining/FoodThe food was delicious...mmmm I enjoyed the 24 hour pizzeria. Stateroom QualityThe stateroom had the necessary space and comfortable. The only thing was the shower didn't have a lot of pressure. Ship Staff QualityThe staff was very nice and friendly. Entertainment & ActivitiesExcellent shore excursions offered. The entertainment was good with magicians and comedians on board.

Bridgetown, BarbadosThe beaches are beautiful... Payne's Bay. As a down side is the vendors coming and asking if you wish to purchase items. The port in barbados is not that impressive.
Don't Miss: Payne's Bay DominicaThe greeniest island in terms of natural beauty. Definitely have to visit the rainforest and try the many types of mangoes.
Don't Miss: river tubing is awesome!!! Trafalgar Falls... which includes cold and warm waters. Basseterre, St. KittsThe beaches are awesome.
Don't Miss: Frigate bay and Brimstone Fortress Castries, St. LuciaYOu definitely have to try ziplining in the rainforest. It's an adreneline rush. The beaches are nice.
Don't Miss: ziplining and the Pitons Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.Bluebeards's castle was nice to see but if you go have to be there after 10 in the morning.
Don't Miss: snorkeling was great in the clear beautiful blue water! Philipsburg, St. MaartenThe Port is okay not very good for shopping though and pricey.
The beaches are a must visit. They are good for snorkeling on your own. Its 7 dollar round trip ferry to get to Ilel Pinel. These beaches people are allowed to go nude!
Don't Miss: Ilel Pinel which have to take a ferry to get to and Oriente beach both on the French side of the island. 4 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

  Wonderful Family Vacation by
Peggy L. from Anniston, Alabama Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: Everything but the food and the various islands were best Cons: The price of the alcohol on the ship The ship was VERY clean and the employees were super nice and spoke very good English. There were numerous activities to do on and off the ship and all were very entertaining. We got a room with a balcony which was the smartest move ever -- was very nice to just sit on the balcony and watch the sea. The rooms were small but much larger than what I had expected. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodOur waiter was Arnold and he was very nice. Learned our names the very first day and continued to call us by name for the duration of the cruise. Was good to recommend the best selections of the night and was very attentive to all persons in his area. Stateroom QualityOur stateroom attendant was called Super. He was very attentive -- seemed liked he clearned our room every time we went anywhere -- always had plenty of towels etc. He also made very creative towel animals each night which our 9 year old son tottally loved. Ship Staff QualityDid not meet a single employee who was not nice, helpful and polite. Was very impressed that the ship could have that many employees with no apparant bad ones in the whole mix. Entertainment & ActivitiesLots to to on the ship and off. Received a newsletter each night which informed of the following night's programs and activities -- that way we could plan our day and arrange times and locations to meet up with our friends. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

Pam S from Arizona Sailing date: Dec 2009Pros: 7 islands in 7 days.....awesome Cons: Nothing We have sailed on Carnival ships before so knew what to expect on this ship. We chose this ship for crusing 7 islands in 7 days and we were not disappointed.
Flew into San Juan on the redeye and arrived at 12:30 on departure day. Had no problems getting to the ship or getting on the ship. Many reviews about the duty free shop before boarding the ship and it is all true. You can pick up some beverages and put into carryon bag and get thru without any problems. It was nice to have a drink on our balcony while enjoying the view.
Ship QualityWe always had problems with finding our way around. Never could get that together....always walking the wrong way to our room...Oh well......
The crew was always cleaning everywhere we went. Dining/FoodWe enjoying the dining experince, especially our two waiters...They made us always feel welcome...remembering our names and our likes and dislikes. Stateroom QualityAlway kept our room in a neat order and our cooler was always filled each day with ice. Our bed was very comfortable...almost too comfortable....we could never sit on it during the day or else we would fall asleep. Ship Staff QualityOverall everyone was great. Entertainment & ActivitiesLoved the shows.
We also used the jogging track every day. Also participated in the walk for the cure...on the last day. Carnival donates money to the Susan Koman Foundation. 13 out of 14 people found this review helpful.

Stateroom QualityI was a little skeptic because its the first tiime we brought our kids with us and the room was fine.. We had a king size bed and bunk beds and it was just right for us four. Ship Staff QualityWe had the best waiter for dinner.. his name was Michael and he made my 6 year old son feel very comfortable; so much so that my son asked me if we could bring him home with us ! Entertainment & ActivitiesSo much to do and so little time Children's ProgramsMy son didn't want to leave Camp Carnival when we would go to pick him up so that says alot about the camp..

  An AMAZING Cruise! by
Traci L from Grand Rapids, MI Sailing date: Jan 2009Pros: The crew memebers Cons: Debarkation Process We cruised on the Carnival Victory ship and the best thing I can say is "Wow!". We knew the ship was a fun ship, but we had no idea what to expect. We truly were impressed by Carnival's continuous crew members. The service all over the ship was even better than expected. Our stateroom was cozy. Lots of new storage elements made it easy to unpack and we felt like there was a place for everything. Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive and the staff was top notch. Ship Quality

  Houseguests rather than customers. by
Louis from Elmhurst, NY Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: The cleanliness and attention to guests needs. The crew and all staff were most eager to assist us in every way. For our first time we were quited pleased on board and on our port excursions. Credit should be given to all personnel on board for their warm and friendly service, from the cleaning staff to the captain's staff. Dining/FoodWe dined almost entirely at the buffet style areas and were most satisfied with food and service.

Halifax, Nova ScotiaPeggy's Cove and Lobster lunch tour was better than we expected.
We were very fortunate to have the best tour guide on our tour to Peggy's Cove which included a Lobster lunch that was marvelous. The tour guide and his driver were absolutley great. Their historical knowledege intermingled with personal stories an jokes made us wish we did not have to leave. Peggys Cove and its people were marvelous.
Don't Miss: Peggy's Cove. Saint John, New BrunswickSt. Johns was a lovley visit.
After a tour by bus of the city we roamed by ourselves and with the help of local taxi drivers discovered a warm and friendly port.

The stateroom service people need raises by
Scott from Orlando, Florida Sailing date: May 2007Pros: Mini-golf. The overall trip was great. It was my first cruise, and everything was above and beyond. The dismbarkment process seemed a bit rushed, and no too friendly. Other than that, I give it a 10! Entertainment & ActivitiesActivities: The mini-golf was a blast, not challenging enough though!
Entertainment: One of the fog machines on house left, stage right was down, that needs to be fixed for even coverage of the stage in the Caribbean Lounge area.

San Juan, Puerto RicoSan Juan, now I know why you want to come to the US!
I wont be sad if I never step foot in Puerto Rico, it wasn't too clean and the people weren't too nice. I def know why they want to all move to the United States.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.St. Thomas, watch out for the baracudas!
This place was really stellar. The scenery, the shopping, the water, the beaches, everything just amazing!
Don't Miss: Coki Beach. Philipsburg, St. MaartenSt. Maarten.
This place was amazing! The only thing that kinda got old was, the fact that the locals wouldn't stop bothering me with wanting me to buy their stuff. Other than that, it was def Paradise!!!!
Don't Miss: Swimming in the crystal clear blue water! 8 out of 12 people found this review helpful.
