Great cruise!
by A Traveler from Tulsa, OK
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
Halloween costume contest 10/31/12. All activities are great.
Cons:
Getting ON and OFF the ship is a pain, but this cruise was better than most for this.
Everything was wonderful EXCEPT the "IRIE MON BEACH EXCURSION." The guides were not displaying a sign like the rest of the groups, so no one could find the group without a lot of extra consternation. I accidentally saw the sign lying on a table instead of its being held up high. However, after we got to the beach, it was very nice.

Magic is magic
by Mark h from Texas
Sailing date:
Feb 2012
Pros:
The boat- the people, the food, camp carnival
Cons:
The guests/people that complain about anything in life while onboard
The ship is amazing- impeccably cleaned everywhere. The people are great although they should give the omelette guys some espresso to put a little pep in their step!!! Food was great- i will never understand how people complain about the food- Do you eat like this at home? if so then you can complain- otherwise figure out what it would cost to eat on land all day non stop as so many people do- it looks like the last supper for some
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
a huge boat but never felt crowded- some lines at peak times but we avoided the food rush
Dining/Food
really good food, nice variety
Stateroom Quality
clean- large, well maintained
Ship Staff Quality
everyone was great
Entertainment & Activities
live music is gone on lido but plenty of other live musiscians around the boat
Children's Programs
camp carnival will keep us coming back over and over

Awesome cruise eperience!
by Tammy N. from MN
Sailing date:
Sep 2011
Pros:
Ship was brand new. The ports of call, and the excursion choices were amazing!
Cons:
We may have been on the young side for entertainment desires. We liked the entertainment on our last Carnival cruise to the carribean in February better.
Our trip to the mediteranian was awesome. Carnival Magic was a very smooth sailing ship. The layout of the ship was much like other carnival ships but brand new and larger. We chose Carnival for our trip because we wanted to spend as much time exploring different ports of call and less time on the ship. Carnival's 12 day cruise only had 3 days at sea. We were ale to see so much more of the mediteranian than other cruise lines. My husband and I usually travel to one place and stay there for many days/weeks to explore on our vacations. After our first cruise to the caribbean in Feb. we were really excited to cruise through the mediteranian. Carnival had long days at port which gave you alot of time to get a feel for each place and you also knew you had a comfortable, clean and calm place to go home to at the end of each day. Loved it! Planning our next trip already!

GREAT CRUISE
by A Traveler from texas
Sailing date:
Mar 2013
Pros:
FOOD and friendly crew
Cons:
port times to short
We were in stateroom 1352 and our friends were in 1365 and 1367. We were told that we would be across the hall. We ended up on the opposite side of the ship. Starboard side staterooms are numbered odd, and port side are numbered even.

Pros:

Cons:
Exploring Jamaica outside of the excursion was a bit of a bust
Given the change I would most definitely go again. The staff really made this experience stellar, and there is never a dull moment on the the ship.

Dining/Food
Great food!

We had an interior room which had no windows! So telling the time of day was tricky especially with no clock
Ship Staff Quality
Our bartender Mihaela on the Serenity Deck was awesome and cute. Our waiter "Mister D" was also entertaining and attentive
Entertainment & Activities
Lots to do and the shows were a blast especially Karaoke with Jay!
