Anthony q from Pawling ny Sailing date: Nov 2012Pros: Coming home Cons: Pour service Ship was not run well we waited 2x at vintages for wine 20 min before walking out then went to trellis bar to find no one their at 530 pm . Dinner at chops for 30 extra each was the worst meal on ship .glass of wine at champagne lounge was 23 glass and just average .tried to book another specialty meal on interactive tv came up for wrong day ,so I called desk and was told I had to pay cancellation fee! We traveled with 6 other couples 4 of us had been locked out of safes several times ,one time we missed excursion because we couldn't get passport out of safe in time . A good Cruise by
Frank F from Honolulu, Hawaii Sailing date: Nov 2012Pros: The friendliness of the staff Cons: Lack of a substantial ppol area. Lack of a big screen TV to watch on deck For the size of the ship and amount of people it did not feel crowded at all.
On the other hand for the size of the ship I was very surprised as to the movement I could feel during the cruise as opposed to other smaller ships. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodVery dissapointed in the quality of food at Chops Grill Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityStaff was great from Lorna in our stateroom to Reuben at Dinner Entertainment & Activities

  Lots of fun! by
A Traveler from Pittsburgh, PA Sailing date: Jun 2012Pros: The food and the employees were awesome! Cons: Having to pay for so many extra things. The ship was beautiful!! I couldn't believe I was on a ship. Felt like I was in a city on water. Didn't like how parents let their teenagers run free. Woke me up many nights cause they were running and screaming up and down the hallways. i also thought it was very expensive. For what we paid for this cruise I thought many more things should have been freebies. I also wish the stores on the main deck would have been a little less expensive. Couldn't afford the GUCCI, COACH and many other big name designers. Ship QualityExtremely clean. Dining/FoodFood was excellent and wait staff was awesome. Cant say enougt nice things about the dining room experiences. Always made me feel special. Stateroom QualityBed and pillows were great. Loved my room. Ship Staff QualityMy friends had a major issue with a store that was recommended to us in St. Thomas. Did not receive any help from Thomas who suggested this store to them and am sure got a hefty pay off from their purchase....but the guest service desk could not have been nicer to them and did everything they could have to try and help them out. Staying on board was better than getting off. Ship QualityBest ship on the seas! Dining/FoodSuperior dining everywhere! Stateroom QualityGreat room, wish I could have afforded a suite.... Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & ActivitiesAlmost all the shows were great.... Blue Planet was disappointing... Children's ProgramsOn board ....awesome! In port....horrible!

Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)Total waste, horrible rocky beach, way overpricedfor everything.

  Perfect cruise for families by
Denise H from United States Sailing date: May 2013Pros: All of the activities Cons: Availability of late night food (Windjammer closed too early) This was my 8th cruise and my favorite cruise. I was looking for a cruise that would be entertaining for my parents and my children. There was a plethora of children's activities available, if you want them, but they aren't in your face, if you don't. The entertainment was great for all ages (my six year old son still talks about OceanAria).
This is the only ship I would ever go on twice. Ship QualityBest ship I've ever been on. Nice touches - like bathrooms have changing tables with Huggies Wipes! Dining/FoodThe food was great, the service was great. We had My Time dining, but some nights we had early dinners (at 5) and after the shows, I would've liked to have more food choices available. Windjammer closed at 9 and if it were open maybe an hour or an hour and a half later, it would've been perfect for a late night snack. Stateroom QualityLoved our room and the balcony added a lot of space. Ship Staff QualityOur waiters in Adagio were amazing and went above and beyond to entertain our children. As soon as we sat down, they had our drinks ready for us. Entertainment & ActivitiesLoved the How I Trained Your Dragon on ice show. Great for all ages. There was so much to do on the ship that I didn't even want to just sit on the deck. Children's ProgramsKids facilities were beautiful. Lots of nice touches - if your child is 3 and you sign him up for kids program, they give you a cellphone. My 6 year old son loved the kids program but actually felt like he was missing stuff because there is so much going on around the ship - parades, face painting, animal balloons. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Amazing ship by
A Traveler from Grand Rapids, MI Sailing date: Jun 2011Pros: The food and Oceanaria Cons: The Ports of Call The "Allure" is an amazing ship. It was hard to imagine that it actually was a ship cruising through the water and not a city. It is huge, but the interactive signage kept us from getting lost. Central Park is just beautiful, and the Promenade and Boardwalk were attractive and interesting places. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe food was excellent. It was prepared well and the presentation was very appealing. Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityThe wait staff in the dining room were outstanding! Our stateroom attendant was very helpful and attended to all of our needs. Even the maintenance personnel responded to our request very quickly. Entertainment & ActivitiesOceanaria and Blue Planet were wonderful shows. We chose not to attend "Chicago" because of the "R" rating. We enjoyed Jazz on 4 but did not attend the Comedy Shows because of the "blue" humor.

Cozumel, MexicoWe really liked Cozumel seven years ago. However, the vendors have become much more aggressive since that time which made it very difficult to shop. The prices have gone up significantly. We really enjoyed our experience at Poncho's Backyard. The food was very good, the waiters were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable - a welcome change from the walk down the street.
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)Every activity costs extra and the vendors were so aggressive that it made our family uncomfortable to walk to the beach.
Falmouth, JamaicaNot a lot to do now. This area is still under development and it is difficulty to rate.

Dining/Foodthe dining food was bad, bad, bad our table was next to a closet and in the hall way but waiter service was ok. Stateroom Qualityfantastic, supper clean all the time and asking what i need all the time. Ship Staff Quality
