Great Spring Break by
Fabian S. from San Diego, CA Sailing date: Mar 2011Pros: crew members, great stirrup cay, on board activties Cons: humidity The ship was amazing. Being that it was my first time on a cruise, I was astonished by the vast size of the vessel. It was truly a "hotel on the sea." Had an amazing time getting to know different people from all over the world. Ship QualityCleaned our rooms twice a day, ship always kept immaculate. Dining/FoodTwo words: Freestyle Cruising. Need I say more? Stateroom QualityStayed in an inside stateroom, have never been on another cruise... But that thing was small! Not like it matters, didn't spend much time in it! Ship Staff QualityThe crew members were amazing. Had a lot of fun seeing them around on a daily basis, good laughs. Entertainment & ActivitiesAttended a couple comedy vents and a few karaoke events along with the nightly dance parties. The dance parties were good 2/4 nights. Karaoke is always funny. And the adult humor night was hilarious (cruises telling their own jokes)!!

Freeport, Grand Bahama IslandOnly stayed on this port for about 20 minutes. Were unaware that it cost only $5 per person to take a taxi to the beach. Didn't hear a lot of good "tings" about it.
Nassau, BahamasTook a ferry boat to Atlantis Resort for only $3, took a taxi back to the port for only $4. The beach at the resort had a bar. $10 drinks - very strong! Waverunners could be rented from the locals for about $100 an hour.
Don't Miss: Visit the beach at Atlantis Resort! Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), BahamasBest part of the trip. The crew members from the boat come out and and you drinks while you are in front of amazing waters at this private island. Only Norwegian ships come here and it is fun to be in the same area of the beach with all your fellow cruise mates! There was also a buffet (free)!
Don't Miss: You can snorkel very close to the beach! 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

The Best Anniversary Cruise EVER!!! by
Dave S. from Naples, Florida Sailing date: Aug 2010Pros: Over the top excellence in Customer Service Cons: Having to return home We met 18 years ago on a cruise. We got married a year later on the same cruise and we took the wedding party with us to enjoy. While the economy was good we went every year on a cruise to celebrate, it has been a few years since we have cruised and we looked forward to this one, and we were not disappointed at all.
The crew ( and we mean everyone working for NCL) treated us like family and tended to our every concern without question.
Our stateroom with a private balcony was beyond compare.
Thank you NCL you will be our cruise line of choice from now on. Ship QualityThe Sky was very well cared for and very clean. We especially liked the hand sanitizers in and out of every public area. Dining/FoodOMG! Because it was our anniversary the first night we felt we should eat in one of the gourmet restaurants offered. (At a small up-charge) The food and menu was unbelievable. The table side service was superb. The next two nights we ate in the Palace (main dining) and the food was every bit as good and tasty with NO up charges.
Where to go??? Oh well, just going to have to eat several meals a day. We'll exercise later. Stateroom QualityThe stateroom was very nice and well lit. Or cabin guy did a great job of keeping up with everything for us. Ship Staff QualityBeyond willing to help, the ships staff was like family, and they made you feel important, from the deck hands to the staff with 5-6 bars on their shirt shoulders. Entertainment & ActivitiesWay fun, every where we went there was some sort of activity, great job. And the Cruise Director was a hoot. He came from Australia but there was nothing upside down about him, he knew his job and he did very well.

Nassau, BahamasAlways beautiful, Nassa is one of our favorite places to go, but we try to get in a bus and head out of town and go where the locals go. We find different food choices and activities that way.
Don't Miss: Kalik Gold beer. If you are a beer drinker you have to try Kalik Gold. Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), BahamasOMG, in the past we have stayed on board for the island excursion, but this time we went off and had a blast.
Don't Miss: Tandem Para-sailing. Get your intestinal fortitude together , get strapped in and go for the ride of your life. (Don't forget to ask for 2 dips.) 8 out of 8 people found this review helpful.

  Best Vacation Ever! by
A Traveler from Santa Rosa, CA Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Checking in was so easy and fast. The food was fabulous. The entertainment was great. We won a suite upgrade and they treated us like VIP's, it was so awesome. After the last cruise, I was happy to find there were many bathroom facilities throughout the ship and I never had to wait in a line. Cons: No complaints,I was pleased with every detail. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We were in agreement that this cruise was the best vacation we have ever had, and we have been many places. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodI loved freestyle cruising and the option of dressing up or going casual. The food was very good. Stateroom QualityI was surpised how big our original stateroom was for the cheap price, it included a pull out sofa. The very first night at Bingo we won a suite upgrade with a butler, jetted tub with seperate shower, huge deck, it was beautiful and very comfortable. They pampered us with luxury. Ship Staff QualityWhen we won the suite upgrade, the staff gave us the VIP treatment. We didn't have to wait in lines, we ate in one of the finer restaurants for breakfast and lunch. They graciously answered questions, were very welcoming and friendly. Entertainment & ActivitiesThere were so many thinsg to do we had a hard time deciding. Of course we love Bingo!

Freeport, Grand Bahama IslandIt was very hot and humid the day we visited this port. We went on the glass bottom boat tour. It was fun and we were able to feed the fish. The island was not as beautiful as I pictured, but I am glad we went on the boat.
Nassau, BahamasThe shopping in Nassau was fun, we picked up most of our souveniors here. Paradise island was so beautiful. I would love to explore it further.
Don't Miss: The Atlantis resort is a must see. It is WOW! Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), BahamasThe water looked like a swimming pool and the sand wasn't even hot. There was plenty of seating and shade. Lots of activities and the food was great.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling was incredible. 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

  a time to remember by
Jane G. from Youngstown OH Sailing date: Aug 2009This was my first cruise and I was quite apprehensive about going. I am thrilled to say that this was the best vacation I have ever had. The entertainment on the ship was first class. The staff was very present and helpful. While at the ports I spoke with other folks who were on other cruise lines, since I had nothing to compare my experience to, and it was reinforced that Norwegien puts forth the best experience.
