Australia on the Millennium by
Cathy B. from Seattle, Wa. Sailing date: Mar 2009Pros: the itinerary Cons: the condition of the ship was terrible The ship was looking very old and tired since the last time we sailed on her in 2002. It was sad to see. Plus, we sailed the entire cruise with only one engine working properly which made us miss two ports! Ship QualityThe ship has a great layout but as I said it was not kept up at all. Dining/Food

Entertainment & ActivitiesThe Celebrity singers and dancers were great! Some of the best we've seen in our 36 cruises!

Worst ship I have ever cruised on by
Kay S from Southern California Sailing date: Sep 2008Pros: Bernard - our steward and the ports Cons: Food was awful (cold, boring, monotonous menus); Layout of ship required a lot of extra spending in order to enjoy sailing time; , no laundry facilities; unhappy and exhausted crew ; staff kept telling them to smile; I have cruised four different lines and the Celebrity was the worst ever. I was never so glad to get off after two weeks. Ship Quality

  Great Cruise. by
Larry from Geneva, OH Sailing date: Mar 2007As with all other cruises on this line, it was exceptional. The only flaw was the lack of availability of the internet services due to upgrading and repairing, which took almost all of the cruise. Entertainment & Activities

Food Adequate / Not superior Freeport st by
Ely from NJ, USA Sailing date: Dec 2006Pros: Shows at nice were fantastic. Good excursions overall. Overall, it was a good experience. We had a nice cruise, the desert buffet was spectacular in design and varieties. The major complaint is the stop in Freeport and not the greatest variety of soup and the lack of an ice cream machine. However, we overcame these obstacles and had a wonderful time with friends and family. The excursion to the Rain Forest in Puerto Rico was terrific. Entertainment & Activities

This cruise did not live up to usual Cel by
Lee Pascale from US Sailing date: Jan 2007Pros: The nighttime shows in the lounge were excellent as they always are on celebrity. This was a 55th aniversar cruise--it was a very special trip for us & some of our friends were with us. The dining staff did help with the celebration however, the line did nothing to add to the celebration. Entertainment & Activities

We love transatlantic cruising on Celebr by
Annie from St. Louis, MO Sailing date: Nov 2006Pros: Two-story theater and the large atrium-type aqua pool area. We have sailed on Celebrity Cruise lines several times and always receive excellent service from the stateroom attendants and wait staff. The food is great and the dining room staff is very attentive to your needs. We had a wonderful cruise around the Mediterrean and across the Atlantic. The weather was great for late November & early December. The only problem we encountered was at debarkation and this always seems to be a problem for transatlantic crossings. We were supposed to leave the ship at 8:00 am and fly out of Ft. Lauderdale at 11:00 am. Instead, it took forever for the ship to pass inspections (having been in Europe for several months) and we were not permitted to leave the ship until 10:30 -- so we missed all our flights and suffered through a VERY long travel day. It was truly a travel day from hell! Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: Get rid of shows that feature jugglers, magicians, plate twirlers, etc. The same acts tend to move from ship to ship and become very repetitive! If you've seem them once . . . 17 out of 23 people found this review helpful.
