Just okay.... by
Matt from Topeka, Kansas, USA Sailing date: Dec 2006Pros: Big screen T.V. (and isn't that sad...) Food was just okay....including the selection most days. Staff was hardly friendly at all, especially the bar staff. Hard to get answers or direction from staff on the ship and on shore excursions. Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: Okay only. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  Some things need attention! by
Rene from Staten Island, NY Sailing date: Jun 2006The staff did not seem to be trained to properly assist in the disembarkation when we docked in Puerto Rico or when we returned to NY. Passenger service reps were rather curt when approached about problems. This was a new ship, on its second voyage, and we were willing to overlook some things but felt we could have been assisted more cheerfully. Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: One lounge had TV screens to assist in seeing the dance contest however they were not tuned to anything but advertisement. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Great Cruise by
Shirley K-S from Derry, NH Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: Nice ship, friendly crew. Cons: Didn't stop at many places, it seemed. Roatan was 106 degrees and you'd better bring mosquito repellant! We just got back from a cruise on The Crown Princess. There's nothing like relaxing on deck with a good book! The food was good, other passengers very nice. Would take this cruise again. Ship QualityNice and clean. Dining/FoodGood food but soup a little salty. Great desserts. Don't miss the "bakery". Stateroom QualityNice stateroom. Window looked out on lifeboat so the view wasn't worth the extra cost. Ship Staff QualityVery nice crew. Entertainment & ActivitiesSaw some of the theater performances and the ones we saw were good. Also saw a movie in the afternoon and the size of the screen was good. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  Just a great vacation by
Marla & Barry from Montreal, Canada Sailing date: Feb 2010Pros: service, port(s) of call, food, relaxation Cons: bed, overcharge for extras, the shower? The crew will do whatever it takes to make your trip a great experience. Always there for you. They do try selling you things like cookbooks and other extras. A bit of a pain after a while, but none the less, amazing.
The bed sucks. a crap matress at best. The shower is more like a stand-up transporter from star trek. At least they should put in a hand held shower head. And -buy some decent matresses. A european pull out aint for me!
Stay away from the "shops" in Cozumel. Rip joints selling garbage. Too many "extras" that cost a bundle. $30 for fountain coke, $2 a expresso, $50 a picture, ect. ect.
Roatan is the most wonderful place and you can get tours off boat at less then 1/2 price. Same goes for everywhere.
We would definitly go again but on another itinerary! Ship Quality
Dining/FoodTOO MUCH!!! I gained 10 lbs! Lobster, steak, desserts!!!! Stateroom Quality

  Ship Review by
Caryl from Great Neck, NY Sailing date: Jul 2007
Dining/FoodNapkins/utensils need to be made available at the buffet. Often we had to wait for staff to bring utensils to our table, causing us to wait, food getting cold....why not make them available with the plates? That same resource could be serving beverages.

  Good Cruise. by
James from USA Sailing date: Jul 2007Pros: Ship was large and nice looking in the public areas. Rooms too small. Good Cruise, but too many people and service suffers. The shows were good, but not enough seats in the common areas, had to stand for several shows, this is not fair. Also people hog all the seats by the pools, never could get a seat. Food was good, but no midnight buffets. Problem is the volume of people, you do not get enough attention. In addition, on the 9 day cruise not enough time was spent on the islands, it was a rush each day and not a full day. Need overnight stays on ports of call and not rush with a four hour visit. Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityToo small.

Don't Miss: Beach. San Juan, Puerto RicoToo short.
Needed more time.
Don't Miss: Old San Juan. Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.Nice Island.
No bargains with the shopping, except liquor. Jewelry is cheaper in NY. Also not enough time too rushed.
Don't Miss: City. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
