The best I have had after 8 cruises
by A Traveler from Cocoa Beach, FL
Sailing date:
Nov 2011
Pros:
Perfection. Great food, really great entertainment
Cons:
can't think of a thing
The party is on the ship. Without taking any excursions, we found our days and evenings were filled with outrageously good entertainment, rocking piano bar, great bands. Don't gamble so I did not experience that. Service was superior and like CHEERS everybody knew my name!

by Gulamali somji from India
Sailing date:

Pros:
The shows
Cons:
Pools too crowed
It was my first. Had heard people having bad experiences. I had heard carnival crushes are one of the best. I took a chance. Was not disappointed. Loved every moment. Relaxed ate and had lots of fun. Best 3 Days of my life. And yes I loved the tea in the morning. "masala ". If I go again I will go in carnival cruise only.

Best vacation ever...
by Jacqueline K. from Weston, FL
Sailing date:
Jun 2011
Pros:
Service complimented by meeting wonderful people
Cons:
Curves
Fun! Fun! FUN!!! This was our first cruise and we celebrated a big birthday for my husband! It was great!! The service both in the stateroom and dining room made the cruise sensational! There was something for everyone! We really enjoyed it.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
I was apprehensive about the age of ths ship, but once aboard I was able to see how well the ship was maintained and boy did it run smoothly. I barely felt the ship moving. all public areas were clean and welcoming.
Dining/Food
Food was delicious! Loved the Mongolian food, the availability of the grill, the buffet was always delicious. The variety and abundance were overwhelming. Delicious!!
Stateroom Quality
Who knew a stateroom that appeared so tiny, could be so spacious? Sounds funny, but we enjoyed the stateroom when we were in it. The BED was so COMFORTABLE... or was it the gently rock of the ship? It was great!
Ship Staff Quality
Martin in the Ecstasy Dining room (and all over) was fantastic! He was all about making sure we were well taken care of. He offered suggestions which were right on the money! He was witty, playful, all while addressing our needs. Duncan and his team also were cheerful and polite while keeping our stateroom in tip top shape. LOVED the towel animals.!
Entertainment & Activities
The 1980s revue was great, the perfomers were talented. The Curves show was inappropriate. We can leave the showgirls in Vegas.

Waste of time... I visited Freeport about thirty years ago as a child, and when I did it looked like a shiny penny. This time I was disappointed seeing all of the abandoned buildings. we went to the beach area (not taking the excursion) and that was really not good, the walk way to the beach was littered with garbage. As soon as you get to the beach you are accosted by women selling beads... didn't like it.

totally enjoyable trip
by Francoise M from Oldsmar, fl
Sailing date:

Pros:
the excellent service especially our waiters late service table 256
Cons:
lack of quiet time at the pool side
a totally relaxing, enjoyable trip. It was my daughter's first cruise and she cannot wait for her next one. A cheerful staff, which we now are overworked, but never lets one feel it. Always clean yet the personnel is never in the way. Too bad the pool is not larger, but a ship has its limitation on space.

Awesome time!!
by Miranda H from Patterson, Ga
Sailing date:
Apr 2010
Pros:
entertainment, room, 24 hour ice cream
Cons:
dinner
we had an awesome time on this cruise. The cruise ship was very clear and well kept. The rooms was nice and roomy. The bed was very comfortable. The entertainment was great. the 24 hour ice cream was a big hit with us...the ice cream was so good!!! The only thing I have to complain about was there was limited options at dinner time. You either went to the dining room or the bistro. We always went to the bistro since we didn't want to get dressed up every night. The bistro only had one course to choose from. So the only other options were salad, pizza, or a sandwich from the deli. I wish the Poolside Grill was open so we could at least get a hambuger, chicken fingers and french fries. When you have kids who are picky eaters, sometimes these are the only things they will eat. Other than that it was an awesome cruise. LOVED IT!!! Can't wait to go again.
