I really did not appreciate closed hot tubs. Dining/Food Dining room food was mostly fantastic, staff was very very nice. Food in Seaview bistro was just ok. Cons: The food was not very good. The ship was outdated. The food was not very good. The price of the cruise was good. The patio pool was fun. The beaches and Senor Frogs at the ports were excellent. Carnival had photographers that are ridiculous. They just hound you for pictures that you have to pay for. Shows were average with a little bit of cheese. The cruise director was super annoying. Not enough show to go to. Too many late night shows. For our age group it was too noisey and too many drunk people. As far as the Carnival Fun Ship is not for older people. The food could be greatly improved. Ship Details: Ship Quality Very confusing getting around. The bathroom on the Lido deck was always dirty and not cleaned up. Needs some updating. Dining/Food Quality of food not up to standards. I did like the convenience of the open dining tho. Sailing date: Sep 2012 Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything This was a cruise for the unintiated...a party cruise for 3 days. Not relaxing and the clientele was discourteous and unruly. Ship Details: Ship Quality Not the cleanest of ships....food was fair to mediocre. Dining/Food One of our party became deathly ill and we attribute it to something eaten on the ship. Stateroom Quality Our room was above average and the attendant was exceptionally attentive, although we made very little requests of her. She was always available and willing to help. Cons: nothing... The customer service from every single employee on the ship was awesome! They call you by your name and make sure you have everything you need. Ship Details: Ship Quality The bathrooms were always clean and stocked. Dining/Food Stateroom Quality The rooms are a little small but for the price of the trip they are fine. After all, all you do is sleep in them. Ship Staff Quality Entertainment & Activities Children's Programs My daughter would ask to go back to Camp Carnival...she loved it! The Sensation is an older ship so some of the decor is a bit outdated but everything was kept clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and there was always something going to keep you occupied. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food It seemed that some of the food quality was not as good as it has been in the past. Still had plenty of choices and the 24 hour pizza was wonderful Stateroom Quality Our aft-balcony cabin was spacious and the view was spectacular from the balcony. Cons: Can't think of a single negative!!! Courteous staff from embarkation to disembarkation. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Training of the ship's company was a high priority. Makes the traveler at ease knowing they take my safety so seriously. Ship Details: Ship Quality All of the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and modern. Dining/Food If a person wants something different at each meal, or the same favorites, everyone can be pleased. And pleased we were!!!!! Stateroom Quality Clean comfortable accommodations! A good nights rest meant plenty of energy for the next day's events. Ship Staff Quality Virtually invisible. The functions of running a ship of this size is considerable. Most of those functions went unnoticed by the average passenger. However, when help was needed, the ship's staff was eager to please.
