Great cruise, Great Value!!!!
by Dan S. from Palm Harbor, FL
Sailing date:
Jul 2012
Pros:
Ship's company, great events, etc......
Cons:
Can't think of a single negative!!!
Courteous staff from embarkation to disembarkation. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Training of the ship's company was a high priority. Makes the traveler at ease knowing they take my safety so seriously.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
All of the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and modern.
Dining/Food
If a person wants something different at each meal, or the same favorites, everyone can be pleased. And pleased we were!!!!!
Stateroom Quality
Clean comfortable accommodations! A good nights rest meant plenty of energy for the next day's events.
Ship Staff Quality
Virtually invisible. The functions of running a ship of this size is considerable. Most of those functions went unnoticed by the average passenger. However, when help was needed, the ship's staff was eager to please.
Entertainment & Activities
A good mix of entertainment events meant little time for boredom.

Superb and relaxing
by Dave H. from Aiken, SC
Sailing date:
Jan 2012
Pros:
The excursions and facilities
Cons:
Main Dining Room service
This was our fourth cruise and third with Carnival. We chose this particular one because of the Orbitz price, which was AWESOME!!!! This was the last voyage of the Sensation before drydocking and updating. That may expalin the lack of enthusiasm and professionalism in the main Dining Room. But alas, there are other superb eating locations onboard. We partook of them all (except sushi). The remainder of the staff was very pleasant and helpful. This was the first cruise we took our sons (17 and 22). They had a great time and will definitely go again...if Dad pays. The excursion through Orbitz did circles around those offered by Carnival. Snorkle and swim with the sharks was FANTASTIC!!!

Stateroom Quality

first time cruising
by A Traveler from Montgomery, AL
Sailing date:
Dec 2011
Pros:
all the services were great
Cons:
no fireworks on the new year celebration night as we imagined
My husband and I went on cruising on new years night. 3 nights cruising to bahamas was too short for us. We had only one day to stay in bahama. I cannot forget the true blue color of the Nassau sea. But it was great to spend time on the ship too. It was first time cruising for us so we enjoyed meals the most which we could eat all day whenever we wanted and being lazy. Also the happy new year count down on the deck in the middle of ocean was a great experience to have.

Relaxing Cruise!
by Nathan Y. from Princeton, MN
Sailing date:
Oct 2011
Pros:
The variety of food choices
Cons:
the weather, but that is out of our control
It was a fun cruise, a lot of activities going on that we loved to be a part of.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
The ship itself is an older ship and looks a bit '90's in decorating terms. But everything is clearly labeled for easy access.
Dining/Food
I loved the food and wait staff! If you didn't like something at dinner, they would get you something else right away.
Stateroom Quality
The state rooms looked updated and were very clean.
