Not Worth the Money by A Traveler from Kentucky

Carnival Sensation To Freeport & Nassau by Fred D. from Riverview, Florida

Pros:

Great service and attitude of all staff. All the food was overwhelming.

Cons:

"Southern" fried chicken that had a very hard coating and it was rather dry.

Everything from embarkation to debarkation was excellent. very little wait and the staff was overwhelmingly excellent. The tap water was very drinkable unlike our first cruise on the Inspiration where the tap wter was very undrinkable because of foul taste. Not so this ship. We brought a gallon of botled water and didn't use it because the tap water was adequate.

All the food in the buffet and dining room was great except the "Southern" fried chicken that had a very hard coating and it was rather dry. I'll never try that again. The redfish was superb.

SPOTLESS! And our attendant, Dudi, was a great addition to the qaulity of the trip.

Ship Staff Quality

All were friendly and very nice.

Entertainment & Activities

The shows were of a very high caliber, the dancers were astounding and the lead female singer has one of the best voices I have heard for a long time. I know because I'm still a paid semi pro musician.

Pros:

How clean the ship is for her age.

Cons:

Room staff was not so intentive to my needs

I rate overall staff great. I did not like the food being serve in Buff was also serve in formal dinning. Plus no masspotates and no cookies again.

Fantastic staff, Wee Jimmy (cruise director). relaxing atmosphere

Closed hot tubs, food on the deck could be slightly better

Ship is fine, just older therefor not as sparkly. I really did not appreciate closed hot tubs.

Dining room food was mostly fantastic, staff was very very nice. Food in Seaview bistro was just ok.

Pros:

The formal dining room.

Cons:

The food was not very good.

The ship was outdated. The food was not very good. The price of the cruise was good. The patio pool was fun. The beaches and Senor Frogs at the ports were excellent. Carnival had photographers that are ridiculous. They just hound you for pictures that you have to pay for. Shows were average with a little bit of cheese. The cruise director was super annoying.

Pros:

The staff was so commidating

Cons:

The food was not to my liking and usually came to the table not hot. Not enough show to go to. Too many late night shows. For our age group it was too noisey and too many drunk people.

As far as the Carnival Fun Ship is not for older people. The food could be greatly improved.

Very confusing getting around. The bathroom on the Lido deck was always dirty and not cleaned up. Needs some updating.

Quality of food not up to standards. I did like the convenience of the open dining tho.

Our porter was very efficient and was there for us at all times

The staff was very friendly.

Not enough entertainment at earlier hours. No need for the vulgar comedy shows.

This was a cruise for the unintiated...a party cruise for 3 days. Not relaxing and the clientele was discourteous and unruly.

Not the cleanest of ships....food was fair to mediocre.

Dining/Food

One of our party became deathly ill and we attribute it to something eaten on the ship.

Stateroom Quality

Our room was above average and the attendant was exceptionally attentive, although we made very little requests of her. She was always available and willing to help.

It was a 3 day cruise so we had limited time to enjoy the amenities.

The crystal clear and turquoise waters of the Bahamas!

The customer service from every single employee on the ship was awesome! They call you by your name and make sure you have everything you need.

Had a wonderful time. The Sensation is an older ship so some of the decor is a bit outdated but everything was kept clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and there was always something going to keep you occupied.

It seemed that some of the food quality was not as good as it has been in the past. Still had plenty of choices and the 24 hour pizza was wonderful

Our aft-balcony cabin was spacious and the view was spectacular from the balcony.

Very clean and well managed. Always someone available if you need assistance. I felt that the crew was there to make your Vacations as pleasant as they could.. Great job to all on the crew.
