A great cruise! by A Traveler from Massillon, OH

Pros:

The schedule and time to relax.

Our experience on the Carnival Paradise ship was great. We loved the staff, food and accomodations. Everything met our expectations. Very much enjoyed the schedule - having just enough time in port and at sea to relax and enjoy the sights. Can't wait to go again.

how decorated the boat was

the seasoning of the food. but its a crusie ship not home cooking.

timirusu was good. the cakes where a lil bland could of used more sugar. If you went to the dining station at 6 you could taste test some of the food before dinner so you would know what to get or not.

Stateroom Quality

it was good. the pillows were fluffy.. i state on the Empress deck 1 single bed. 124. it was close to the elevator and 2 floor the food was there also.

i love the live music bands. i play piano so to heard a good band it inspired me to keep practicing

service and food was great

Cons:

shows were not good

ship was beautiful and the staff was friendly and the food was outstanding but as far as entertainment was concerned that was another matter. shows were not really well done and often very late. normally after a 6pm dinner show was at 8:30pm but most of the shows(when they had them) was at 10pm.

Terrific Four Day Cruise by June K from Detroit, MI

Pros:

The ship is beautiful. The staff on the ship are terrific. The excursion was a blast.

Cons:

The staterooms need an upgrade. The Normandy has very poor seating design. There are many seats in which you cannot see the stage.

The signage is good. It was easy to navigate on the ship, The ship was ver yclean. The staterooms need a makeover. They are as nice as on the newer ships, however that is reflective in the price of the cruise.

Dining/Food

The food was great. The Dining room staff was excellent. They entertained every night which was great fun.

Stateroom Quality

Our room was very clean and everything was fine with the stateroom.

THe staff was extremely friendly. Everyone on the ship said hello to us. Our cabin steward, our wait staff, and our drink waiter all learned our names ver yearly and always addressed us that way.

Entertainment & Activities

The shows were great. The dancers and tireless and gave off great energy. The comedy shows were great however ,the Queen Mary is not big enough and many guests stood and compleltely blocked our view of the stage. Other accomodations should be made for the guests that do not have seating.

How clean and friendly the ship was.

It was our first cruise. It was perfect. What ever you wanted they got you. It was so clean and organize . The staff knew your name and treated you like family. There are not enough word for me to describe how wonderful it was.

I was not impressed with the lobster or prime rib but it would be very hard to fix that meal for so many.

Trip great food service bad by A Traveler from Lakeland florida

We recently took a cruise on the Parades ship. The room service was great. THe person that services us was great. The dining room experience was bad. The lines were long even through we had a seating assignment. It took a long time to get served. We decided to have brakfast, not seating requirement and the seating was horrible. The organization need to review the whole food situation. THis made our trip a very unhappy one.

This was an overwhelming meal time. Thr crowds were large and the servers were slow. It tokk overtwo hours to get our completed meals

Not that impressed with Carnival by Jeri S from New Jersey

Pros:

The ship was nice and not very crowded. Lked the ports, especially Cozumel.

Cons:

The food wasn't great, the entertainment could have been better.

The cruise ship and Cabin were fine. However, the food is better on other ships I've been on, especially the dinners. The lobster tails were great but after that, the dinners went downhill. Also, the shows could have been better, one night was just 4 passengers entertaining us. And I didn't like the cruise director, he was very annoying. My 15 year old daughter enjoyed Club O2. We had a nice time in the two ports.

I Just love Cruising! love relaxing

food was just "OK"

Loved the "art deco" styling in the Atrium and around the ship. Plenty of Fun things to do, great comedy shows. Quiet time available on Serenity Deck. Very relaxing.

very clean, everything worked properly. Beds & pillows super comfortable.

we only ate at the "Buffet", as I don't care for the main dining room experience on Any ship. Seemed the buffet closed early for dinner. Very limited choices after 7:30 pm, pizza and ice cream. No burgers or fries

room steward was Excellent! room always tidy, there was enough closet space and plenty of hangars.

Always something going on somewhere, comedy shows, etc. Fun!! Fun!!

This was the first cruise with my husband. Overall it was a great experience. There were always activities to engage in, which was important to me. We did not enjoy it as much as an all-inclusive resort as we have done in the past. I think the cruise experience met my expectations.

The food was just okay. The presentation and variety of options was great. The quality of the food was just okay.

Stateroom Quality

A sign in the lavatory said if you want to reuse towels, please hang on rack. We NEVER left towels on the floor yet received fresh towels twice a day. What a waste! The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean and perfectly located.

Ship Staff Quality

I'll give a high rating because the steward and one of the bartenders was excellent. We had a problem with our safe and got poor treatment from the staff on that issue. I did not appreciate their attitude with THEIR faulty safe.
