Very friendly and relaxed.
by Kathy from Warwick, NY
Sailing date:
Jan 2007
Pros:
Freestyle dining.
The staff was very friendly, the freestyle dining helped to make it relaxing - you didn't have to rush to make a scheduled dinner time. My teenager enjoyed the teen crew. Recommend making upgraded dinner reservations in the first day that you get onboard. Not enough deck chairs on days that we didn't dock - need to get to pool early to get a chair.

Activities: They could have used more deck chairs by the pool.

Wonderful Experience!
by Agata from Dayton, OH
Sailing date:

Pros:
The ship is very nice and clean overall and also not too big comparing to some others.
We loved our cruise on Norwegian Jewel. The food was delicious, stuff very friendly, ship clean and very relaxed atmosphere. We could not ask for much more! We will take another crise with Norwegian for sure in the future!

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Great Hiking! We hiked almost the whole island it was great. We also saw a huge lizard (iguana?).
Don't Miss:
We really enjoyed hiking. If you want to escape from all the people take a trail to lighthouse and keep going after you pass it. It will take you on the other very quite and peaceful side of the islan
St. John, U.S.V.I.
Beautiful St. John's St.John's is very beutiful island. It is very natural and has great beaches.
Don't Miss:
Do not miss beaches!
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Old San Juan. We just looked around the Old San Juan and we liked it, however it was pretty crowded (with tourists!). Wanted to try to go on excursion to the rain forest but it was sold out.
Don't Miss:
We liked the Fort.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
Busy St. Thomas. Since we went to St. John's we kind of run out of time to spend some more time in St. Thomas. We had enough time to run to downtown and had to turn around. Looks like evry nice island, downtown - big shopping area!

Free Style Cruising.
by Allen from Greenwood, SC
Sailing date:
Apr 2006
Pros:
The theater, it was very large, confortable and a good seat no matter where you were.
The thing we liked the most was the freedom to do what we wanted when we wanted. The specialty of this cruise line is that you have many restaurants to choose and can go to any of them when you want. The entire atmosphere of the ship was like this. We have already booked our next cruise with this ship line to Alaska for the summer.

Pros:
Variety of specialty restaurants.
We enjoyed the tours we took. Shore excursion staff was wrong not to tell people that the museums were closed on Mondays in Florence.

Informal elegance.
by Hector from Puerto Rico
Sailing date:
Sep 2006
Pros:
Informal atmosphere.
The informal atmosphere of this cruise ship allows you to relax while the elegance of the public and recreational areas of the ship pampers you with luxury and beauty. The ports visited speak of culture and history, while the views from the ship speak of beauty and adventure. Overall, one of the most enriching experiences we?ve had.
