To much devastation from a hurricane. Governors Beach was nice. But, do not waste time on historic tour. Island is very flat & small. Nothing to see but beach.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Old San Juan beautiful old city with much history. The forts & cobblestone streets must see if into history. Also, my husband enjoys shopping in this city. He can walk along drinking & shopping. Enjoyable.
Don't Miss:
El Morro & San Cristobal. The Forts
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
The tour had history with historical sites, Black Beards Castle, 99 steps, shopping & site seeing. Also, Magens Bay for swimming. Great Beach. Very clean Island. A Beautiful island with hills & flowers.

A wonderful, fun-filled cruise
by Patricia R. from Marion, IA
Sailing date:
May 2009
Pros:
The many options for food, seating all around the ship, stores
Cons:
Photos being taken just as we were starting dinner every night
The ship was beautiful; the ways the theme was presented was phenominal. The dining room was really elegant and we had so much fun listening to the waiters/waittresses perform every evening at dinner. The spa was very relaxing and my husband got a massage that really helped his lower back.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Everything was very convenient and accessible; all areas were kept clean and ready for the next person or party of people. Shp size was very impressive.
Dining/Food
Excellent. The Supper Club was so magnificent; the sevice rceived was something we will always remember, and the price was very affordable!
Stateroom Quality
The shower could use a bar for holding on for stabilization. The condition of our stateroom was very clean and in good condition. The bed was not quite as comfortable as one would like.
Ship Staff Quality
Very cheerful, helpful, efficient and everyone was so polite.
Entertainment & Activities
The entertainment was absolutely fabulous; very professional and the variety of shows was just great!

I could live on a cruise ship!
by Aimee from Staten Island, NY

Pros:
The theatre shows.
With the exception of dropping off & picking children up, your only concern is what and when to eat. Can't wait to cruise again!

Dining/Food
Service during breakfast/lunch in bacchus poor.

Ship Staff Quality
Staff speaking in tegalo around English-speaking guests is inappropriate and rude.

Kayaking through bioeluminenscent bay is a must---adults only and must be physically capable. But it is a must see. It does, however, take up most of your port time, so shop quick. Wish we had more time to sightsee, shop, and eat.

Swimming with the Dolphins Day! This port was short, and we were just fine with that (chickens and roosters running around seems a little disease prone). The dolphin swim was a must if you haven't done it before.
Don't Miss:

great cruise
by Lisa A from West Reading, PA
Sailing date:
Jun 2009
Pros:
the shows were great
Cons:
there wasnt a good selection of food for after hours
We cruised on Carnival Miracle and the ship was great, the sea was very calm at the time of travel and I didn't get sea sick big plus for me.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Carnival Miracle is a Large ship, the state room we had was very spacious (bigger then what we expected), the shops are pretty much the same as all the other cruises that we took, you shop one cruise on the ship you should pretty much expect the same on the other cruise you take. plenty of areas to sit and relax and view the sea as you cruise.
Dining/Food
the dining area was very pretty. wasnt to thrilled with the selection of food after hours, prettym much limited to pizza or ice cream, you could use room service but who wants to run to there room everytime you wanted a snack? Quality of food was good. We didn't try the specialty dining only because we were a little tight on money.
Stateroom Quality
we had a room with obstructed view which was fine for us, the room to our surprise was larger then what we were expecting. the room was clean and beautifully decorated.
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone was very friendly and curtious very willing to attend your needs.
Entertainment & Activities
with the exception of one night all the shows were terrific.
Children's Programs
our older son stayed with camp carnival for pretty much the whole cruise, He enjoyed very much.

A wonderful cruise
by Anna V. from Detroit, MI
Sailing date:
Feb 2009
Pros:
Excellent for kids
Cons:
Very expensive Wi-Fi
We recently sailed on the Carnival Miracle. Compare to the Celebrity Millennium we cruised 7 years ago, this cruise was more casual, dining was good, but less fancy. From the other hand, our grandson loved his club a lot, which was very important for us. The crew was very friendly, all areas were kept extremely clean. We did not like "Dolphin ride" excursion in Cosumel: for $165.00 per person one dolphin served 10 tourists. The same type in Key Largo is so much better: 2 dolphins served 2 swimmers. Tabyany beach on Isla Roatan was fabulous, though. I think that $50.00 for 100 minutes Wi-Fi internet from your own laptop is ridiculously expensive.

Pros:
Dining and entertainment.
It's a great ship and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can enjoy the activities or if you wish to relax and read, there is an excellent library/computer room and the Gatsby Garden was wonderful with the huge porthole windows overlooking the Sea. As for the shows, they are very professional and entertaining. Our dining experience was excellent: tasty gourmet food and exceptional service.

a nice cruise
by Karen V. from north jersey
Sailing date:
Aug 2011
Pros:
the steackhouse was excellent and malcolm the cruise director was wonderful
Cons:
the decor and the slippery flooring by the pools
was on a carnival cruise (the miracle) for the first time....the decor in the dining room was a little gaudy in my opinion - well actually the whole ship's decor was a bit much for me...it needs to be toned down and made less ostentatious... the staff ,though, was very nice and helpful...our rooms were larger than expected and kept spotless by housekeeping...people in the dining room were welcoming as well...dining service varied, as we had free sitting....one night we were rushed, then on another, the meal lasted 2 1/2 hours...food wasnt bad...but, frankie and johnnies - the steakhouse an additonal $30 PER PERSON -was the best meal that i had for the entire voyage...def worth the $$ also, i admired the fact that our captain was intelligent enough to avoid tropical storm Emily and kept us apprised of changes made in our itinerary...we ended up going to San Juan PR and St Thomas...which we all enjoyed...wish we had more time at the ports though, but understand that it wasnt a planned stop... the worst thing on the ship was the flooring by the pools...veryyy slippery!...i slipped and fell myself - as well as saw others do the same...the staff did attempt to keep it mopped, but it is the wrong kind of flooring... entertainment was ok...casino was nice... loved their special brew of Thirsty Frog beer....only available on ship.... all in all, it was a nice time...
Ship Details:
Ship Quality

A great time!
by Melissa C. from Matawan, NJ
Sailing date:
May 2012
Pros:
Service was excellent our room was cleaned 2 or 3 times per day. Every person on the ship was personsble and helpful!
Cons:
Food was better on royal caribbean but overall we had a great time!
I liked the ship. Each room was themed ex: mad hatters lounge-alice in wonderland theme.frankensteins lab the club was a lot of fun and the dj was excellent! The dining room kind of reminded me of a diner or something because it wasnt nearly as fancy as Royal Caribbean or Princess, but I didnt really care about the decor..service was excellent both in dining room & our room.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Ship was kept very clean!
Dining/Food
although there was a variety of food on the ship, I was not impressed. We had anytime dining so I think our food was reheated. I would recommend the 815 dining because I think they make the food fresh. I will say if you want a hot bite to eat go up to deck 9 & they had pizza, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs & french fries.
Stateroom Quality
We had an oceanview room which was bigger than I had expected. We were fortunate to be on deck 1 rivieria, so we didnt experience "sea sickness". We got to see the atlantic ocean as well as great views from our room!
Ship Staff Quality
One night we had slept through dinner completely so we got deli food on deck #9. It was delicious! I was saying to my bf how I wanted a cookie for dessert but there werent any left. A worker overheard me and brought me a plate of several cookies, which was very nice. The staff is very accommodating of your personal needs.
Entertainment & Activities
There were some fun activities like the hairy chest contest, the deck party, the comedians were great but at times we felt bored. We also had some bad weather so maybe that put a damper on things.

Christmas Cruise on Miracle
by Diane K. from Naples, FL
Sailing date:
Dec 2010
Pros:
The cruise dancers and singers were outstanding. The ports, Grand Turk, La Romana, Aruba, Curacao were all excellent places to visit for a great cultural experience. Food was very good although we didn't enjoy the freestyle dining area.Staff was excellent in all areas . Many families and children
Cons:
Little crowded at breakfast and lunch at the buffet area with long lines, particularly on "at sea" days. Dancers and singers were spectacular but other shows were medicocre.
Overall, I would recommend this ship and cruise for families with children as there were many on the ship.
