Horrible Cruise
by A Traveler from ny,ny
Sailing date:
Dec 2008
Pros:
entertainment
Cons:
Buffet/rough ride
Ship not well maintained. The Seas were calm and the boat was rocky. Even staff got seasick. The two large pools in the center were filled with kids and the adults had to use the smaller pool at the rear of the boat. Adult pool was cloudy!

A so-so experience
by A Traveler from Minneapolis, MN
Sailing date:
Dec 2011
Pros:
Weather and locations were beautiful
Cons:
Service not acceptable
Our cabin steward was fantastic. Weather and locations of stops & cruising was beautiful & fun. Dinner service was bad. Our head waiter didn't even ask our names until the 4th night (assigned seating with 3 other couples) and that was after one of the couples complained. We didn't get refills on water or bread unless we asked. We waited a long time to give our orders and get courses. This was in stark contrast to our other cruises - we've never had this type of experience.

mixed reviews from a first time cruiser
by Keith M. from brooklyn, NY
Sailing date:

Pros:
had a great time with my family, and a select few of the staff were amazing!
Cons:
my first day, i found DIRTY UNDERWEAR in my room!!! (and thats not all)
first of all, let me say, overall, i had a great time, but, i think that had more to do with me and my family being together, and exploring new islands, and it had very little to do with the ship and its crew. my first impression was, walking into my room with my bags, opening all of the drawers to see the kind of room i had for my things, and i found ******A DIRTY PAIR OF WOMENS UNDERWEAR***** ... wow, are you kidding my, how do you miss something like that? i didnt get too upset at the time, things happen... stuff gets overlooked, and i understand.. what really upset me, is that it took 4 days for someone to call me, and there solution, was to credit me 14.00 $ i laughed. the 14$ was based on a percentage of my first days stay in the room... i dont know where they came up with this number... but either way, its funny! On a bright housekeeping note, they did a great job for the rest of my stay. my wife and daughter had a separate room (i snore) and the housekeeper, supapon (Sue) was amazing, my daughter spit up two nights in a row on the bed,and sue couldnt have been cooler about it, she hopped right out of bed and changed our sheets! thats not the only thing she did that was above and beyond her job description, but to be short, she was great! now, lets get to the casino....im gonna keep this very short they were awful, they messed up time and again, they would often "forget" to pay out people in roulette, im not going to get into every little thing they did wrong, but if i described everything, you would be disgusted!

Stateroom Quality

Ship Staff Quality
the only person that was amazing was my wifes housekeeper, but this is my review

All areas with the exception of the main office that made the decision to move us only after 4 days of no sleep. Need a holiday to get over it.

Fantastic cruise.
by Kathy C. from Salt Lake City, UT
Sailing date:
Mar 2013
Pros:
Time at sea to relax.
Cons:
Very long wait time between courses in the dining room.
The service in the dinner dining room was slow and lethargic. Perhaps the waiters were given too many tables to take care of.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
I love the smaller ships, smaller than ~2300 passengers.
Dining/Food
Overall quality and variety seems to be lacking. I've been on ~28 cruises[21 with Carnival] so I know what I'm talking about.
Ship Staff Quality
Our stateroom person was very good.
Entertainment & Activities
The entertainment was superb. Two shows [Blues Brothers and Beatles tribute] were amazing!

A relaxing time
by Ana M from New York, NY

Pros:
The adult's pools at the back of the ship
Cons:
Quality of food
Staff was friendly, ship was very nice. I found it very hard to stay on schedule among all the activities because there were only few clocks around the ship and cell phone didn't show the current times. Loved the variety of food but the quality of fish was poor and tasteless.

Dining/Food
Quality of food was poor. Would have preferred less food but better quality. Fish was tasteless and hard. Mozzarella became acidic few days down the line. Variety, dining times, ambiance etc was good.
