Fantastic cruise.
by Kathy C. from Salt Lake City, UT
Sailing date:
Mar 2013
Pros:
Time at sea to relax.
Cons:
Very long wait time between courses in the dining room.
The service in the dinner dining room was slow and lethargic. Perhaps the waiters were given too many tables to take care of.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
I love the smaller ships, smaller than ~2300 passengers.
Dining/Food
Overall quality and variety seems to be lacking. I've been on ~28 cruises[21 with Carnival] so I know what I'm talking about.
Ship Staff Quality
Our stateroom person was very good.
Entertainment & Activities
The entertainment was superb. Two shows [Blues Brothers and Beatles tribute] were amazing!

Stateroom Quality
Best Size Statesroom i ever had. I usually get the cheapest one. Best TV i ever had too! The statesroom cleaner was awesome.
Ship Staff Quality
Overall Staff was friendly. My Main waiter was nice and good. However, his helpers took forever to give bread and give drinks.
Entertainment & Activities
I enjoyed the shows.

A relaxing time
by Ana M from New York, NY
Sailing date:
Feb 2013
Pros:
The adult's pools at the back of the ship
Cons:
Quality of food
Staff was friendly, ship was very nice. I found it very hard to stay on schedule among all the activities because there were only few clocks around the ship and cell phone didn't show the current times. Loved the variety of food but the quality of fish was poor and tasteless.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Quality of food was poor. Would have preferred less food but better quality. Fish was tasteless and hard. Mozzarella became acidic few days down the line. Variety, dining times, ambiance etc was good.

The decor was the eclectic. The food quality was average. The variety of food was just ok. The ship itself was clean. The shows were excellent.

Dining/Food
The 6pm dining time was way too crowded and the servers had too many tables. Our service was not as good as on previous cruises.

Relaxing cruise
by Sandi R. from Rochester, NY
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
The food was excellent and all resturants except the steakhouse were free.
Cons:
There was no play areas for families to let their young kids climb or run arround.
The ship was decorated very lavishly. Very impressive. The ship is also very stable. We experienced a rough storm and experienced very little sea-sickness. The pools are saltwater, not heated, and small.

Dining/Food
The food was excellent. Lots of really great choices. You have to know that lemonade and iced tea are available for free. We figured it out on the 3rd night after seeing the other tables being served with pitchers.
Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality
We did not realize that one of the main waiters is tipped seperatly from the tips that are automatically charged to the onboard acct. I am still not very sure about this.
Entertainment & Activities
There were very few choices available. The ones that did occur all seemed to happen at the same time. Bingo was reasonably priced.
Children's Programs
Staff was excellent. There was very little family play together opportunities.

Always a Fun Ship!
by Lauren D from Long Island, NY
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
Food, Casino, Dance Club, Shows, Activities, Ports of Call, Casino, Staff and Shopping
I have been on the Carnival Miracle three times and I have never been disappointed. There were so many wonderful things that made us have a memorable time. The food was excellent, the shows were exciting, the shopping was great, the port of calls were beautiful, etc. I would definitely recommend this cruise Ship. Carnival always has such friendly and helpful staff too.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
The ship was always so clean and definitely easy to navigate even with it being so large.
Dining/Food
Very pleased with the excellent selections... especially the Chocolate Melting Cake dessert!
Stateroom Quality
It was so nice to have shelving in the bathroom to put all of the toiletries out... there definitely was enough closet space too. Good cabins.
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They were definitely fun and energetic too.
Entertainment & Activities
The shows were excellent. We also participated in many different activities during the days at sea.

Our cabin steward Paquito Nerpio was very kind and understanding. Also, he's very honest; I misplaced my phone, looked everywhere and when I came back to my cabin, around 4:00 p.m.after he changed towels, it was by the nightstand.

Nice Cruise!
by A Traveler from PA
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
Half Moon Cay
Cons:
Carnival pushing the alcohol
This was my 2nd time on this ship, and I liked it a lot. The ports were great, especially Half Moon Cay. I did however find it disappointing that Carnival now charges for the sea sickness pills, and they were really pushing the alcohol this time. Besides that, I really liked the boat, and the staff.
