Cozumel, MexicoA day in Cozumel.
My day here was alot of fun and our tour guides were very friendly and funny.
Don't Miss: Dune buggy excursion. Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)A day in Labadee.
I think it was a nice place but the constant competition with the vendors doesnt really give you a chance to enjoy your shopping experience. If they alow you to look without the constant pressure they put on people to buy they would sell alot more stuff but many people including myself ended up leaving without being able to shop for everything I was looking for due to that problem.
Don't Miss: The beach. George Town, Grand CaymanA day in Grand Cayman.
I had a good time there.
Don't Miss: Submarine excursion. Ocho Rios, JamaicaA day in Ocho Rios.
I had a wonderful time in jamaica. Our tour guide was awesome.
Don't Miss: The jeep safari and the dunns falls. 8 out of 12 people found this review helpful.

  A Great Experience! by
Mai C. from Fayetteville, NC Sailing date: Sep 2008Pros: Everything! Food, service, shows...all were fantastic! Cons: none...the fact that we didn't get to disembark at grand cayman but its due to the waves...nothing that can be controlled The ship was huge! I love the promenade... Ship QualityAll were well kept and clean. Dining/FoodFood was the best... both the main dining and the windjammer Stateroom QualityThe room was small but the stateroom attendant was very good and kept it neat. Ship Staff QualityEvery one of the staff was awesome. Evrybody was more than willing to help and was very good at what they do. Jigger, our witer and asst waiter, George, did an outstanding job. Our stateroom attendant, Tyrone, was very good too
Entertainment & Activitiesthere were a lot of things to do..all u need to do as a guest is get out there and get into the activities. The ice show was fantastic also with the singers and dancers. The game shows were so funny and entertaining.

Cozumel, MexicoThe best thing to do is to take a $10 cab ride to Chankanaab and do everything there....they have everything from swimming with dolphins to snorkeling....

Don't Miss: probably the big zip line.... Ocho Rios, JamaicaThe Dunn's River Falls is a must do....although we didn't dock on Ocho Rios but in Montego

  Relaxing cruise by
Lillian L. from Carlsbad, CA Sailing date: Jan 2011Pros: stellar service with Royal Caribbean -- all the crew so helpful and friendly! Cons: strange low-grade vibration on the ship, felt it almost constantly As always, Royal Caribbean ships are beautifully built and furnished. The crew was extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities clean and well-maintained. Ship Qualitysometimes elevators a little slow, but what do you expect when there are 3000+ passengers using them? Dining/FoodGreat food. Wait staff was superb. Always friendly and wanting to please. Can't say enough great things about the wait staff. Stateroom QualityClean, comfortable, well-maintained. Housekeeping service superb. Ship Staff QualityRCI always has the best crews. Entertainment & Activitiesgood quality of entertainment. Couldn't get in to see the ice show due to limited seating. Events in Studio B tended to fill up fast, so hard to get a seat unless you get there pretty early.

Mazatlan, MexicoTaxi drops you off at a jewelry store.....hmmmm...does RCI get a kick back from their sales? Despite that, Diamonds International does have a great selection -- ended up buying a nice watch and pearl necklace there, tax and duty free.
Don't Miss: Shrimp Factory restaurant -- on the main drag in the Golden Zone Puerto Vallarta, MexicoVery relaxing just walking around the cathedral area and the Malecon. Sand castle scuptures really nicely done. Don't miss Cafe de Tequila -- just off the main street, around the cornea from a friendly Huichol art shop.
Don't Miss: Cafe Tequila -- around the corner from the Huichol shop. Excellent food and salsa! Cabo San Lucas, MexicoThe port was built up a lot more than last time I was there. No complaints. Felt pretty safe walking around.
Don't Miss: Tequila shopping 5 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

Best Vacation for all tastes by
Andrea T. from Las Vegas Sailing date: Sep 2010Pros: Ocean front room without the traffic, sandy feet, and cost Cons: The mexican ports full of junk sellers, and the cruise ship full of junk sellers! This was my first cruise, I had no idea what to expect. Pulling into the port, I saw the ship and it took my breath away, it was so HUGE! Our room was wonderful, and perfect for two people, a balcony on the 8th deck, midship. Hardly any motion. The promenade, pools, and all areas were clean, impressive, and so cool!. We had an amazing first few days, just lounging in the solarium sans kids. Cool breeze, drink and good book in hand, it was bliss. We aren't participators in any silly games, i.e. belly flop contest, but it was a riot to watch and laugh. Shows were fun. Windjammer cafe, bleh, basic mediocre buffet food. Lunch in the rhapsody dining room, lame. Dinner in the dining room, wonderful! The coffee shop was always there as a back up for a quick snack. Frozen yogurt on the pool deck, great! Johnny rockets, fun and great food. The port days were scary. Cabo, a fishing town that had makeshift flea market setups selling (aggressively) the same crap over and over again. Dicey at best. We went on a snorkel excursion. meh. it was fun, but stressful, and I got stung by jellyfish, no biggy, they were tiny, but they sting. Mazatlan, went to the Aroma Spa, best massage EVER. No one speaks english except the receptionist, so be prepared. Annnnd dont drink the water they offer you after, just bring your own. Also, I had to walk back to the ship 1.5 miles in the swampy heat because my cab never came back to get me. No shops, lots of starring people, a few naked kids, and homeless people later, I made it back no harm no foul. But massage relaxation gone... lol Husband went mountain biking and brought back a tick. yuck, but he had fun. Puerto Vallarta, do the Unimog tour, it was a blast, I learned so much, and saw so much. Real culture, real towns! Not tourist traps. Leather shops were cool. Our guide Sandra was totally awesome! It was worth the price and after a full day, I was beat! Last two days at sea were relaxing and fun. Staff wasnt overly attentive or friendly, No one was fake kissing my butt. But our room attendant and waiter were really nice. I just was bothered sometimes by the continuous pushing of extra stuff, like alcohol, and dining in the upgraded restaurants. And the shops had a crappy selection of wares. They could make a good amount of money if they had a wider selection of merchandise, and cruise stuff. There jewelry store was barren, however the cheap jewelry was abundant. well, I'd probably cruise to a different country next time, but it was great for a first cruise. I will definately cruise again. Ship QualityClean, and well maintained. Dining/FoodFood was lacking and stale in most dining situations except dinner time. Not a whole lot of options. Stateroom QualityLoved our room, loved the layout. Lots of room for a cruise ship room. Ship Staff QualitySome were amazing, most were just gettin through the day of helping us endless tourists! Entertainment & ActivitiesSome were so fun, IceSkating was a blast. Husband loved the rockwall, and dodgeball. The dancing and shows were TOO late to go to.

Mazatlan, MexicoPort and industry feeling to the town. Did not feel unsafe. AROMA SPA great.
Don't Miss: Aroma spa massage. The best. Puerto Vallarta, MexicoGreen and exotic feeling. Although the port is right across from a walmart/sams club. it feels more like a real city. Shopping isnt so in your face. UNIMOG tour was worth every penny.
Don't Miss: Go off the beaten path on the Unimog Tour, so COOL! Cabo San Lucas, Mexicoscary, hold on to your wallet, you stick out like the cruise ship sucker that you are. Do an excursion instead! I would have loved to go deep sea fishing. Snorkeling from a zodiac boat was fun.

Fantastic - totally spoiled us! But.... by
Molly M. from Austin, TX Sailing date: Feb 2012Pros: Food, activities, shows, casino, ports of call, sports court, pools and hot tubs Cons: beds were very hard and the check-in process is extremely long! The ship was fantastic! Nothing really bad to say there. My husband and I went by ourselves and had a very wonderful time. No matter how much you spend to be on the ship - whether you have an inside stateroom, like we did, or the best suite - you were spoiled and treated like royalty!
The only thing that put me off, which was remedied, were the beds. Prepare yourself, because they are HARD! Finally, after waking up with my back on fire on the 5th day, I asked our stateroom attendant if I could get a pad for it or something. When we got back to our room not 2 hours later it was there, all made up for me. I was so happy and slept so well!
Another BIG turn-off for me was the check-in process. They had TWO security machines that were x-raying peoples' take-on luggage. TWO for 3200 people! After that they had 30 booths to check-in at, and only half were open. Honestly, if 3200 people are trying to get onto the ship at once, make better plans for them. It took us 2.5 hours to check-in! best vacation we have had in years! by
Ronald E. from Beaverton, OR Sailing date: Feb 2010Pros: never a boring moment, the days just passed by so quickly whether at sea or in a port Cons: feel things could have been a little more organized on arriving at the pier especially for inexperienced cruisers. Probably not the case for repeaters, but we could have used a lot more information in the boarding process, and where and when we should be going where spectacular ship, very glitzy but that was nice - a mouth dropper as you walked aboard. So much to do all the time. Ship Qualityextremely clean. Layout of ship was handy to get anywhere you wanted to go. Dining/FoodEnjoyed the 'my dining' so that i could plan meals around our schedule rather than planning our schedule around a meal. Quality of food was very good, sometimes better than others. Could have had a little more variety in the bread served, for example or the pastries for breakfast, being the same with every single meal. I think the quality of food received in the specialty restaurant on this cruise was probably more comparable to the regular dining room in the past. Stateroom Qualitysuperb, much better than i expected, but we did have more room because of a junior suite, but we had everything we needed. Ship Staff Qualitycabin person bent over backwards to provide anything we needed, and seemed to sneak into the room the minute we left and it was always immaculate whenever we returned Entertainment & Activitiesmuch better than ever anticipated. Quality quality quality for every single presentation 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

  A nice cruise by
A Traveler from Panama City Beach, Florida Sailing date: Nov 2008Pros: The ship was huge Cons: about half of the crew had bad attitudes First of all, 7days is to much. The bar staff was the worst people. They had bad attitudes and made it seem we were an inconvenience to them. I don't know what was wrong with them, if it was their last week on the ship or what but they never smiled. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe food was always cold when we got ours and the shrimp was horrible!!!! Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityOur stateroom attendant was the best of the crew attitudes he always had a smile on his face and greeted us with a hello. Entertainment & Activities

Cozumel, MexicoI loved Mexico the Mayan Ruins were the best but rent a car and do all the stuff yourself, don't take the tours.
Don't Miss: MAYAN RUINS and Playa del Carmen Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)The zip line is fun but to expensive for the ONE time you get to do it. The FOOD is cold even the burgers and hot dogs. To many people wanting to sell you something. I liked Coco Cay.
George Town, Grand CaymanBeautiful area, nice water and lots of banks. Tax free town
Ocho Rios, JamaicaTaxi Cab guys are crazy drivers and the areas he took us were poor and rundown. Very dissappointed with Jamaica. Not going back

  great cruise by
Jim R from tyler,tx Sailing date: Apr 2012Pros: food selection and pesentatation Cons: TV CH selection not much This was our 10th cruise but the first with RCL, and I am ex-Navy so cabin choice was easy for us. The ship deck layout was great everything was easy to find and remember. The food was good and though we had over 3500 psgrs there were hardly ever any long food lines. the deli had the best pizza I've ever tasted on a ship. Our Balcony cabin was nice and the ship was clean and kept in very good condition. DIs-embark could have had better instructions other than just "deck 4". I would def cruise this line again if the port selection were to my liking seems like all the cruise lines out gaveston just have to go to cozumel, tired of that place. but oeverall it was a great cruise and we had a lot of kids on board but the ship crew had things for them to do and one pool was for adults only so they were'nt always "under Foot" we have 8 children ( now grown ) so we're not "anti-kids". On some ships the parents just let them run wild. Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityI think RCL could afford to add at least 3 more tv channels such as TNT , DISC and a chl for the kids when they are sailing state side. some times relaxing is part of the cruise, we dont always have to be buying diamonds Ship Staff Quality
