First Cruise Ever -- Fantastic! by
Harry B. from Winchester, VA Sailing date: May 2013Pros: Unlimited Food, Never Starved Cons: Everything was Fantastic First cruise ever, very hesitant and scared from some horror stories we've heard before. Carnival Glory crew was fantastic, everyone in our 17 person team loved it. This was our first and we were hesitating and scared over overprice things and fees etc. Very reasonable and knowledgeable staff made it wonderful and we have recommended to our friends and family already. Our Daughter has already booked for her family in the summer and my son plans on going next summer. Ship Quality

Carnival Glory - Eastern Caribbean by
A Traveler from Upstate NY Sailing date: Jan 2013Pros: Grand Turk Cons: Weather, wind, The ship was very clean, and all staff I encountered were absolutely cheerful and friendly. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodLido deck buffet was fantastic, as was pizza and burger shop. I'm not sure if the dining room food suffered because we were the late seating, but there was only one night my dinner was actually good. 2 nights I couldn't even finish. Service in Platinum was also a bit slow, we were left looking for water and more bar drinks more often than not. Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & ActivitiesFor the most part activities were great. Something for everyone. The comedy club was fun, as was the night club and piano bar. The DJ and the 'Big Sexy Cruise Director' were a train wreck though. The DJ didn't care if people on Lido deck were involved in his music or not, other than some line dancing. It was always a relief when Chris the guitar guy came out because at least you knew what kind of music he would play. The Big Sexy morning show was borderline awful. On the Lido deck they would be better off playing Good Morning or one of the music channels. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  Great New Years Cruise by
Tim M from United States Sailing date: Jan 2013Pros: The endless food and activities Cons: Service was a little slow at dinner our first couple nights The cruise was great. The ship had a good amount of outdoor space to enjoy the days at sea. The food was great everywhere we ate. The evening entertainment was very good (music shows and comedians). The first two days were pretty rough on the seas. We talked to many people who had been on several cruises. They all said that was the rockiest seas they've been on and no one was getting seasick. There were good excursions to choose from as well. We recommend the zip lining in Puerto Rico and a catamaran ride/snorkeling in St. Thomas (not a great reef or a ton of fish, but a fun time none the less). Ship Quality

  Great cruise. Enjoyed everything by
Dave R from Nevada, Mo Sailing date: Dec 2012Pros: Cruise staff was outstanding Overall the cruise was excellent. The food was great and the staff was amazing. We loved all of the ports. The stateroom was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. The entertainment could have been better, but the comedians were very good. Ship QualityShip was large but didn't feel crowded. Everything was well organized Dining/FoodThe food was excellent. There were many options and available whenever we wanted to eat. The dining room food was very good. Loved Guy's burgers and the dei and pizza were good too. Stateroom QualityLoved the room and our stateroom steward was amazing. I don't know when she took a break because she was there to take care of our every need at all hours of the day. Ship Staff QualityThe staff was friendly and very helpful. Entertainment & ActivitiesI loved the comedians, but was not impressed with the shows. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

WILLIAM M from LONG ISLAND, NY Sailing date: Sep 2012Pros: STATEROOM Cons: BOARDING AND DEPARTURE Too large a ship; we prefer smaller ships. Entertainment on other ships more to our liking. Wine steward never returned to see if we wanted more to drink, ditto water server.
Some meals were excellent , but other not real great.
