Carnival Glory Amazing!
by Beatriz J from Williamsburg, VA
Sailing date:
Apr 2013
Pros:
The food and the music, entertainment, Everything!
Carnival Glory is a wonderful ship, the staff was wonderful and very friendly, (Give lots of tips, they deserve it) The food was very good, very tasty. All of the live bands were amazing but the Latin Live band was the absolute best! The dance show in the theatre was spectacular. The comedy show is a must! I have nothing negative to say, my experience was absolutely wonderful.

Dining/Food
Lido deck buffet was fantastic, as was pizza and burger shop. I'm not sure if the dining room food suffered because we were the late seating, but there was only one night my dinner was actually good. 2 nights I couldn't even finish. Service in Platinum was also a bit slow, we were left looking for water and more bar drinks more often than not.

Entertainment & Activities
For the most part activities were great. Something for everyone. The comedy club was fun, as was the night club and piano bar. The DJ and the 'Big Sexy Cruise Director' were a train wreck though. The DJ didn't care if people on Lido deck were involved in his music or not, other than some line dancing. It was always a relief when Chris the guitar guy came out because at least you knew what kind of music he would play. The Big Sexy morning show was borderline awful. On the Lido deck they would be better off playing Good Morning or one of the music channels.

Great New Years Cruise
by Tim M from United States
Sailing date:
Jan 2013
Pros:
The endless food and activities
Cons:
Service was a little slow at dinner our first couple nights
The cruise was great. The ship had a good amount of outdoor space to enjoy the days at sea. The food was great everywhere we ate. The evening entertainment was very good (music shows and comedians). The first two days were pretty rough on the seas. We talked to many people who had been on several cruises. They all said that was the rockiest seas they've been on and no one was getting seasick. There were good excursions to choose from as well. We recommend the zip lining in Puerto Rico and a catamaran ride/snorkeling in St. Thomas (not a great reef or a ton of fish, but a fun time none the less).

by Dave R from Nevada, Mo
Sailing date:
Dec 2012
Pros:
Cruise staff was outstanding
Overall the cruise was excellent. The food was great and the staff was amazing. We loved all of the ports. The stateroom was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. The entertainment could have been better, but the comedians were very good.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Ship was large but didn't feel crowded. Everything was well organized
Dining/Food
The food was excellent. There were many options and available whenever we wanted to eat. The dining room food was very good. Loved Guy's burgers and the dei and pizza were good too.
Stateroom Quality
Loved the room and our stateroom steward was amazing. I don't know when she took a break because she was there to take care of our every need at all hours of the day.
Ship Staff Quality
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Entertainment & Activities
I loved the comedians, but was not impressed with the shows.

A TERRIBLE START
by WILLIAM M from LONG ISLAND, NY
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
STATEROOM
Cons:
BOARDING AND DEPARTURE
Too large a ship; we prefer smaller ships. Entertainment on other ships more to our liking. Wine steward never returned to see if we wanted more to drink, ditto water server. Some meals were excellent , but other not real great. One day breakfast took 1 hour and 20 minutes, inadequate servers.

Carnival Glory Cruise
by Tom M from nyc
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
Service -- it was very good
Cons:
food, entertainment and organization
We wanted the early dining dining but it was unavailable (we didn't enjoy the 815 seating and eating at 9pm) The ship seemed overcrowed. Entertainment wasn't that great. The cruise director was excellent but seemed to be understaffed.

An average cruise
by Stacey Y from cleveland, ohio
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
Excellent staff, good value, descent interior room
Cons:
Very pushy with drinks, disorganized
This was an older ship, with a confusing layout in which many parts of the ship were difficult to get to. The interior state rooms were a descent size, and the 3 outdoor pool and hot tub areas were nice. The ship could use a decor update and slighlty larger bathrooms. There were too many bars on board. All areas of the ship were kept very clean however.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Dining/Food
There wasn't enough variety of food options at the buffet, and portion sizes were small in the main dining rooms.
Stateroom Quality
The decor was outdated, but the size of the interior rooms was better than on other cruise lines.
Ship Staff Quality
Staff on the ship was friendly and extremely hard working. Folks working on food and cleaning worked very hard.
Entertainment & Activities
Great shows and comedy acts, especially the Tony Illusion show.
