Lots of Fun but Too Short! by Arshad R. from Newport Beach, CA

Pros:

All of the accommodations on the cruise (comedy shows, broadway, mini golf, gym, DJ, karaoke, trivia shows, etc.

Cons:

Too short and not enough time in Mexico. It only took a few hours to get to Mexico but it took almost 2 days to get back!

I loved all of the accommodations the ship provided (comedy and broadway shows, mini golf, gym, DJ, karaoke, trivia shows and plenty of food to name a few). However, the pool area was much smaller than I expected and the time spent in Mexico was too short! It took just a few hours to get to Mexico but we spent almost two days on the ship on the way back! Don't get me wrong, the ship is a lot of fun, but to me it's equally important to truly see the locations.

Overall it was great. The only cons I'd mention is how small the pool was and the hallway carpets and walls were a bit tacky.

Dining/Food

I personally was satisfied by the abundance and variety of food. Some things were too greasy for me but I'm sure others would love that.

Stateroom Quality

I was very happy with an ocean view. The only problem I saw was how crusty and dirty the edges of the window were, but that's a small price to pay.

Ship Staff Quality

Everyone was extremely kind and helpful.

Entertainment & Activities

The thing I appreciated on this cruise was not just that there were sooo many different activities and forms of entertainment available, but that many of the activities consisted of things I would never think of doing back home but that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Cons:

No show one night

Strong smell of cig some in many areas. Not nice.

Pros:

The food and shows.

Cons:

Some noise on the inner cabin wall in the middle of the night...

The ship was bigger than we thought it would be. The was an unfortunate lack of country music, and the dance clubs were sparsely opened. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The comedy shows and broadway show was amazing! The food was great with a nice variety.

As mentioned earlier, there was a clanking noise coming from the interior wall in the cabin. This woke us up a few times a night. The crew was never able to completely verify what the cause was.

Always attentive and ready to help. That sums up the staff. They were great!

Sparse dancing options for adults, and lack of country music are the main downfalls...

A short and sweet vacation by Srinivas S. from Sunnyvale, CA

Warmth and Happiness all around

Cons:

No choice in Indian vegetarian food

An opportunity to spend quality time with family amongst smiling and friendly faces. Easy and fun On shore excursions added to the joy and memorable moments.

The comedy shows were good

Cons:

Food selection and quality were poor. Our child really like camp carnival but during the day yo ucold only leave them there for 1:45 minutes. So it was drop them off. Go do something for a bit and run back to pick them up.

IT was ok. Staff was friendly. Since this was our first cruise we had talked to alot of people and read a lot of cruise reviews and were all set for this wonderful ewxprience. We were underwhelmed.

Luke warm soup, cold stuffed mushrooms. I had nothing I ever wold have siad "this is really good".

Good staff except for the girl picking her nose the nputtiung deserts on the buffet.

Really like the comedy shows. There seemed to be some issues with scheduling. Some of the shows started late like 25 minutes late for a 30 minute show an pushed the rest of the nights shows back.

Children's Programs

nice staf. Daughter really enjoyed it. For the days at sea during the day you cold only leave your child for 1:45 at a time. Just enough time to do one thing then run back to pick them up. Wait an hour and rinse and repeat. The evening was a little better. Kids dinner at 6:00 and pick up at 9:45. So we and time for dinner and a show.

Food for Mongolian wok no taste at all.

The ship is very nice. Steward at the dining is not as friendly they don't approach you if you need something. Its so crowded probably because its Christmas season, kids running around, and bump you almost knock my drinks out of my hand and they don't even bother to look back and say sorry. crew should say something. over all it was and ok experience.

That the ship was very big, that it was very clean. That everything was very well organized, like Clockwork. Just loved the whole Experience.

5 out of group of 10 got sick either on ship or upon reurn from cruise

This was my first cruise. Had a wonderful time. Great food, great staff. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and "good morning/afternoon". (Had occasional difficulty with some of accents, but overall, no big problem.) Only down-side to cruise was members of group getting sick with flu-like symptoms either on the ship or on Friday afternonn/evening return to Long Beach. Bottom line: I want to cruise again!

Loved our dining staff. They were polite (and fun), accommodating and just an all around pleasure.

I had hurt my back 3 weeks before sailing so didn't participate in many activities. Loved my "hot stone" massage!

A Memorable Cruise by Susan M from LA, CA

Many activities to choose from; Very relaxing

I was disappointed that nothing special (even a simple card) given to us (our anniversary) or to my father (90th bday) because when I booked the cruise, I mentioned this to the travel agent.

We were pleased with the stateroom, the activities, the friendliness of the staff and the food. We got good value for the money we paid for this cruise. Overall, our stay was memorable and enjoyable and I will recommend this cruise line to others. In fact, I have a girlfriend who wants to get married on a cruise, and I will recommend this. However, I believe birthday or wedding anniv. celebrants should get something special (even a greeting card) to show that the crew/company cares.

Interesting but fun cruise. by Steven M from California

FOOD, relaxing day at sea

Cons:

Party, party,party. overwhelming.

We like the size of the room. Room service every morning for coffee and fruit was great. Dining rooms do not open until 7:30 so coffee in the room was important. We liked the ship and the dining room.
