Cruise was "Legendary" - awful!
by A Traveler from Ohio
Sailing date:
Mar 2013
Pros:
The on board staff was very kind and very hard working
Cons:
The fact that we had propulsion issues and missed two of our four scheduled ports!
We booked this particular cruise because it was SCHEDULED to go to Belize and Grand Cayman. The Legend had propulsion issues with the motor so we weren't able to get to Belize or Grand Cayman. They substituted Costa Maya for Belize, and we were SO disappointed! Then, because the ship could only go at half speed, we had to start home on Thursday afternoon skipping a fourth stop and were at sea until the early hours of Sunday morning in order to make it back to Tampa. For all that trouble, they gave us each a whopping $100 back! Oh yeah, and 50% off our NEXT cruise. Like anyone will book on them again!!NOT

Smokers Holiday
by Peter L. from Bluffton, SC
Sailing date:
Jan 2013
Cons:
Peop;le smoking everywhere
People were smoking under the NO Smoking signs. There was so much smoke at times it was difficult to breath and we had to leave the area.. Had to quit the casino because of the smoke. The odor drifted from the second floor to the upper floors.

by ADRIAN AVRAM from United States
Sailing date:

Pros:
service/food/room
Cons:
activities
The cruise director James Dunn was irresponsible to our complains about his staff(and friend) misbehavior and insulting guests. He was permanently displaying only the UK flag on the TV shows even this was a USA ship. That offended guests from USA and other countries. Very pour activities selection and taste. He discredited the Carnival wonderful cruise and crew.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
very poor way finding signage(nonexistent printed maps or floor plans )People were wandering on the corridors trying to find places
Dining/Food
too much food wasted
Stateroom Quality
good -except very high and loud AC -to the point we cannot sleep
Ship Staff Quality
very good
Entertainment & Activities

Nice cruise
by Betty P. from Chicago , il
Sailing date:
Dec 2012
Pros:
We enjoyed listening to the people singing kareoke. The kareoke host Jenny was very kind to people who got nervous and sang back up for them until they found their way. The host has a beautiful voice and should sing professionally.
Cons:
The food was not as good as some cruises we have been on before.
We enjoyed the excursions especially in Rotan Honduras. The cabin was always neat and clean and the staff very friendly. As we said before we enjoyed listening to the people sing karaoke and thought Jenny was very sweet and kind to the less than great singers.

Cold food and poor choices
by James K from New Port Richey Fl
Sailing date:

Pros:
Dancing entertainers
Cons:
The food
The ship and its appointments were very nice, but that is where the nice stops and the ugly starts, especially the food in the Lido and the Dinning room.

Great cruise!
by A Traveler from Tucson Arizona
Sailing date:
Dec 2012
Pros:
Our dining staff was outstanding and the food in both the dining room and the steakhouse were to die for
Cons:
There was no live Texas Hold'em, only played with a computer
This was our second cruise, first on Carnival. The ship was ornate and very clean. The cabin steward was excellent, clean towels twice a day, always kept our cabin clean. The dining room crew and food were outstanding. You have to try the steakhouse...food is unbelievably good and the wait staff very efficient and friendly. Overall the entire crew staff was friendly and we met such nice passengers as well

a good cruise
by Kim H from Grand Rapids, MI
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
The ocean and ports
Cons:
The food
The ship was nice. We loved our balcony room. The staff, overall, was great. We had a good time. Too bad it wasn't non-smoking - the casino was really smokey and we kept getting stuck next to smokers out on deck by the pool. (So much for fresh air.). Not sure if I would recommend this ship or not. There's no "maybe" button.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Very clean, easy to get around.
Dining/Food
The dining room food was better than the buffet, but still just ok
Stateroom Quality
Loved our balcony room!
Ship Staff Quality
the guest services people were not very helpful or friendly
