Cons: Wish I could have stayed on the ship forever. I loved the slide! It was fast!!! The food was wonderful and you could find something to eat night or day. Everything went well. Our stateroom steward was fantastic and our dining room servers were the best. The only negative was the surprise expense for parking and I realize that was not the fault of the Carnival lines. Cons: The rip-off tour in Cozumel. We bought it through Carnival too, so I was disappointed. DO NOT go to the San Gervasio/Beach one. The first stop at the "PeePee Station" was a complete waste of time (i.e., they attempted to educate/ sell us on tequila for an hour and it wasn't on the brochure)! The ship was excellent! Ship Details: Ship Quality The ship was updated to the latest standards and plenty of fun and food options for all. Just wish there was an adult hot tub with no kids allowed somewhere on the ship. Dining/Food Food was great! Try the burger joint at least once. I think we tried everything with the exception of the Fish & Chips - just so much to try that we missed it! Stateroom Quality The changing animals were a constant source of amusement to us. The room was kept quite tidy and we were provided with extra drinking glasses as needed. The only thing we noticed was a little dustiness on our bathroom shelves as the week progressed. Ship Staff Quality Our state room stewards were the best: professional, friendly, and helpful! Our 3 year old grandson like it so much that he wanted to stay a couple of days more. Our waiter Hary is nice and the kid liked him so much. Circle C was Cons: The food was not great. Breakfast was an A, lunch a solid B . DInner C- is being generous The ship is very nice. In decent shape, lots of room, good views. Good excursions. Ship Details: Ship Quality By the second to the last day all the windows are covered with finger prints of little kids. Apparently they don't clean them until the next set of guests so your view is grimy. Virtually no handicapped stalls. Dining/Food Ice tea, lemonade, hot chocolate and coffee are free. If you want to buy unlimited alcohol you have to buy it for everyone in your cabin, which is ridiculous, so we didn't do it. I don't even drink! Also they only have flip top bottles of beer so if you buy a bucket of 4 beers they want you to pay every time they open one for you. I was so offended by that I didn't even tip after hubby's 2nd one. It felt like extortion. Main dining was not good. Same food as buffet. Night time meals are low budget buffet. Meat was barely hot. I worried about food poisoning from sub standard temperatures. Breakfasts and lunches were hot and good. Decent pizza and great deli. Kids loved hamburgers - really good fries. Stateroom Quality Ours was nice and clean. Decent steward. Good free room service. Ship Staff Quality I wanted to book another cruise. The salesman was so not interested in selling me a cruise I just gave up on him. Entertainment & Activities Fun entertainment. Good comedians- fun game shows. We love hanging out on the ship more than the places we visit. The staff was great, the ship stayed clean. My 9yr old loved camp carnival. I'm looking forward to sailing again real soon. The people that worked on the ship were great. The ship was always clean. Most events were very well organized. The bad part was, the food. The food in the main dining room was what I would expect to get at an average cafeteria. The food was bland and the filet mignon tasted like roast beef. The best meal we had, while on the Conquest, was a hamburger from Guy's Burger Joint. The burgers were great! Overall though, we had a good time. We called everyday for 5 days and absolutely nothing was done. The rooms were kept exceptionally clean by our wonderful porter "Mati". However, the sewage smell was enough to gag a person. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Our wait staff was excellent and kept us entertained everynight at dinner. They were the best part of the cruise.
