Awesome Carnival Imagination Cruise
by Mohan G from Columbus,OH
Sailing date:
Jun 2011
Pros:
Excellent service, great food and Family friendly environment
Cons:
none
We went on 4 nights 5 day's cruise from June 13th thru 17th. It was an Excellent experience. Carnival exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Staff was excellent. Room Steward and Dining room server were very friendly and took care excellently. They had fabulous dining rooms along with LIDO deck ( which is more informal buffet ). Food was excellent. They had countless number of items to satisfy everybody's hunger. We were 3 families travelled together with kids ages ranging from 5 thru 12. Everybody had a great time. I would rate this vacation as 5 STAR. I recommend this Cruise to everybody.

Not much to see in Keywest. we did not take shore excursion in key west. Carnival had a complimentary trasporation to the city. we went in that and did some shopping and walked around.

Fabulous cruise!
by Megan H. from Enon OH
Sailing date:
Mar 2011
Pros:
Very nice dinners, excellent staff, fun things to do.
Cons:
We thought the shows were kind of silly. We wished that there was an adult pool.
I thought that the ship was very nice. The workers were constantly cleaning. There was plenty of space. I thought that the grand atrium seemed a little bit dated. Although it was pretty, I feel that they could renovate it to look more modern. Overall, very nice an clean. This was my fifth cruise, and it was my favorite one that I have been on.

Dining/Food
The wait staff was absolutely amazing. They waited on us hand and foot. There was no request that they did not grant. The food during the formal dinners was outstanding.
Stateroom Quality
We were fortunate to be in a very convenient spot. Our stateroom was near the middle of the boat, and this was helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very nice.
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone from the bartenders to the Matre D' went above and beyond all the time for us. They were very friendly and very kind. Our steward in our stateroom was wonderful as well. Many people called us by name, and that was very welcoming.
Entertainment & Activities
We particpated in Karaoke which was very fun. We actually wished that the ship offered that each night, because we enjoyed it more than the shows that the cruise staff put on. The family friendly comedian was hilarious.

The cab drivers here were very nice. We shopped all day, and the workers in the stores were very kind as well. We sat and enjoyed some authentic Mexican food at an open-air place downtown. I can't remember the name, but it was really fun.

Must see: Bo's Fish Wagon on Caroline Street. Something to skip: Pepe's on Caroline Street. The servers were very rude at Pepe's. The beaches are gorgeous and worth the trip.
Don't Miss:
Bo's Fish Wagon.

First timers best time ever
by A Traveler from Dallas, Tx
Sailing date:
Aug 2010
Pros:
the food
Cons:
leaving
I was always afraid of sailing on a cruise ship for many reasons. This year I turned 40 and wanted to break out of my fears. I asked the kids where would they like to go for vacation if they could go anywhere they choose. My oldest stated she wanted to take a Disney Cruise. My youngest stated that he wanted to go to Mexico. I combined their choices along with my own and came up with a Carnival Cruise. We had just visited Disney World and I had been to Mexico several times. So, if I could take a short cruise to a beach i've never been, on a ship with kid friendly activities what would it be. Carnival Imagination!. This was a wonder trip for myself and my kids. I was able to enjoy relaxation while knowing they were enjoying themselves. My fear of being on water was non existant. I took full advantage of the scheduled activites offered and enjoyed all of it. Thanks Carnival for a wonder first timer experience

want to go again!!!!
by Stephanie M from Rocehster,NY
Sailing date:
Jun 2010
Pros:
the atmosphere, it was so relaxing, everyone was friendly, and it was very clean!!!!
Cons:
There was always tons of little children in the pool, and it was hard to relax and enjoy it without kids splashing in your face.
I would recommend this ship over and over again!!! It is an addiction, once you go once you will want to go again and again. It was wonderful. So much to do, you were never bored. And if you wanted to be bored and lazy you could do that too! It is a ship for all ages and all people.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Very clean, staff was on top of cleaning to tables and they cleaned our cabin 3 times a day!!!!
Dining/Food
Food was fantastic! Loved it. You could always find food to eat that you like. I a picky eater and food was hot and tasty. Loved it. The only thing I did not like was the coffee. 24/7 ice cream station and pizza station. You could dress up and have a "sit down" dinner or go to the buffet line. Perfect for kids and elderly people.
Stateroom Quality
Size was fine for us (only 2 people) I just hope that there are bigger rooms for a bigger family! Bathroom was nice, not fancy but no mold or gross areas. There were a few times where the ship was very rocky, but I would just recommend some sea sickness pills.
Ship Staff Quality
Staff was so nice. Everyone had a great attitude. Even when they were off duty they were willing to help.
Entertainment & Activities
So fun. There was something for everyone, casino, pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, mini gulf, jogging track, spa, gym, magic shows, comedians and shopping stores.
Children's Programs
a pool, and entertainment shows, a few "children only" places and even a slide.

the food is great, dont get ripped off by the taxi!!
Key West, Florida
Shopping was fun. The beach you had to pay for but worth it. Just make sure you have enough time to enjoy it. (we only had from 1-5 pm on land)
Don't Miss:
Downtown shopping area, and beach (some musems)
