Had fun with the family!
by A Traveler from Lawrenceville, GA
Sailing date:
Nov 2012
Pros:
Food was great.
Cons:
Shows were boring.
The ship is old and needs to be retired. The seas were rough and it sounded like the ship was going to fall apart.

The relaxation. No cleaning, no cooking and just a good time!

Hurricane Sandy
by David P from Alabama, departed Jacksonville
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
Key West
Cons:
Same shows and entertainment as last cruise
Overall it was nicely kept for it's age.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Basically same ship as the Elation which we cruised on last year.
Dining/Food
Dining room food was OK however buffet food is very "Diner" like. Not quality just volume.
Stateroom Quality
Beds were comfy.
Ship Staff Quality
Stateroom is cleaned every time you leave and they kept ice bucket filled at all times.
Entertainment & Activities
Same shows as last years Cozumel cruise. OK the first time but not worth seeing twice!
Children's Programs
They will keep kids occupied/happy when adults want to play.

A Great Long Weekend
by A Traveler from Niagara Falls, NY
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
Excursions
Cons:
Ships Hours
Ship was a little older. If you like to stay up late and don't gamble, the pools and hot tubs close at 10 or 11PM and the last shows end by 1AM.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
An older ship, but well maintained
Dining/Food
Diner was excellent but food throughout the day was more of a diner quality
Stateroom Quality
Spacious and well maintained. Room staff was outstanding
Ship Staff Quality
Still can't believe how many times we were walking around and were cut off by a crew member in a hurry.
Entertainment & Activities
Good shows but nothing after 12AM...

Mediocre cruise experience
by A Traveler from Chapel Hill, NC
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
the crew (waiters and stewards specifically)
Cons:
food and the activities/entertaiment hosts (except for the Karoake hostess)
This was my first cruise experience. I guess my expectations were too high. The good aspects of the ship was meeting people (other cruisers and the crew). Everything else was dull. I will probably not return to this ship, but I am glad i went.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
the ship's decor is ugly but the ship is very clean
Dining/Food
the is plentiful, but not that great or exciting
Stateroom Quality
I had a small stateroom, but I found it to be clean and cozy
Ship Staff Quality
The staff was one the highlights of the ship!
Entertainment & Activities
The activities were not that great. They were stale and boring and some of the hosts/hostess did not do a good job getting people excited.

Nice size ship
by Shanta B. from columbus, GA
Sailing date:
Apr 2012
Pros:
the ship wasnt too big to learn ur way around quick, but it was big enough to where u didnt see the same people over and over again.
Cons:
There should be more food options late at night. Pizza gets old rather quick.
Overall, I enjoyed my cruise but with it being my very first cruise I dont have anything to compare it to. The weather wasn't so good the first day so the ship rocked a lot! I didnt get sea sick but i was dizzy for about 3 straight hours! The crew was very nice and attentive to us. They keep u informed the entire time. I think they should place intercoms in the interior rooms because we could not hear the announcements unless we opened our door.

BEWARE OF PORTHOLE ROOMS!!!
by Adam M. from Knoxville
Sailing date:
Mar 2012
Pros:
beautiful ship, amazingly friendly staff, decent food
Cons:
expensive drinks, very loud noises while pulling into port
Overall the cruise was very nice. We saved some money booking our own snorkeling in Freeport and going to the public beach in Nassau. The biggest negative was definitely the porthole room. As we pulled into each dock we heard very, very loud machinery that also shook our room. This would not have been a problem except for the fact that it goes on for about an hour and occurs between four and seven in the morning. If you are an early riser who is up before then the porthole room might be for you but otherwise just go for an interior or upgrade to an ocean view! 7/10!
