Birthday cruise by Rosalind H from Austin, Tx
Sailing date: Aug 2012

Pros:
Crew was extremely friendly and helpful

Cons:
Food was terrible except for the omelets

Ship is clean and most of the staff was professional and helpful. Note that announce book your next cruise seminar personnel was more then 20 minutes late for his on class. Service in the open seating dining room had one side in which the service was extremely good and the other side was extremely slow. Casino didn't have any winning slot hits except for the tournament. Room service extremely slow, wait time to order was more then 20 minutes. Room staff was excellent.

Great first experience! by Edith R. from San Antonio,Tx.
Sailing date: Aug 2012

Pros:
triumph dancers and band shows, towel animals in room and presentation of all meals in dinning room!

Cons:
different waiters for everything in dining room (i.e. one for alcohol, one for food and various for refill or water or non alcoholic drinks etc.)

great variety of activities for all ages and backgrounds.

the decks with buffet lines sometimes seemed dirty to the eye and the music was slightly too loud...volume seemed the same in the day than at night, I personallly expected softer in the day time, so when I found the other pool I spend my days out there instead of the other one with video.

great variety overall. great quality in musicianship in the rome lounge acts (triumph dancers, vocalist and band). Great quality of presentation for all except female comedian that night. However, musicianship and equipment for karaoke or other variety and latin bands needed polishing and better quality in vocals and musicianship and preparation to give a quality performance. However, the bass player in the variety band by the casino area was fantastic. We had no choice but to pay attention as we walked by the first time and notice his authentic interest in his instrument and how it could compliment and enhance each song and the band as a whole. No other musician in any of the bands seemed to take a personal interest. Although, they were good at their instrument, their interpretations and performaces seemed ritualistic and routine.

No Problem Cruise by Rick K from Waco, TX
Sailing date: Jul 2012

Pros:
Check in and check out were very easy. Food was great and everything was done very professionally. We were very satisfied.

Cons:
Little too much trying to sell you something and get you to buy something but it was not difficult to just say "no thanks." Also felt that the ship and tours were always joking about opportunities to get drunk as if we were a bunch of college kids. I didn't see anyone drinking to excess.

Ship is definately "older" but it was in good shape.

Sailing date: Jul 2012

Pros:

Wish the beach excursion a bit longer than 5 hours.

My first cruise and it was a terrific one. Food, stateroom, activities, service and everthing else were wonderful. I can't think of anything to complain at all.

Triumph Jun 18-23 by C. Smith from Weatherford TX
Sailing date: Jun 2012

Pros:
Layout of ship and entertainment

Cons:
Service: room service order incomplete/wrong everyday; kids in adults only hot tub; dryers in laundrette not functional

I was less satisfied with the Triumph than I was the Ecstacy. While the entertainment schedule was impressive and surpassed the Ecstacy, the service had serious issues and made me much less satisfied overall with the cruise. I was very frustrated with the number of unattended children running willy-nilly and was both concerned and irritated with kids crowding the hot tubs-including the adults only. I missed having the fantail hot tubs that were off limits to kids that I experience on the Ecstacy. I also was less than thrilled with the experiences I had with the roaming servers in the lounges-I experienced several borderline rude comments from them.

An Amazing Cruise Vacation by Brandon W from Oklahoma City, OK
Sailing date: May 2012

Pros:
the food. the shows. the service. the ALL you can eat ice cream

Cons:
they could have had more shows, like every night. I enjoy them the most

I read reviews about this ship and it hasn't had the best reviews. I think the ship was so pretty..a little outdated..but everything is so beautiful still. The pool deck is so much fun, pools are great, the huge movie screen on the deck is so much fun at night.
