Greatest Trip Ever
by Lois M. from Culloden, WV
Sailing date:
Jul 2009
Pros:
Friendliness of the ship's employees
Cons:
Not enough smoking areas
The ship was clean. The employees were so very nice and friendly. They knew your name and spoke each time they saw you. They were all very helpful. The food, it was great. The bathroom was a little confined but it all worked out wonderfully.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Everything seemed clean, on all parts of the ship. The pool area and the clubs were kept above standard clean.
Dining/Food
There were so many choices and the time periods for eating was well established. I loved it all.
Stateroom Quality
There were 3 of us in a room. A little cramped. The bathroom was very small. But still was nothing to get down about.
Ship Staff Quality
Every employee we encountered was courteous, friendly, smiling, helpful, and they all went above and beyond what was necessary. The employees were the BEST EVER!!!
Entertainment & Activities
There was a good variety of entertainment on the ship. People had a lot to choose from and there was really---never a dull moment.
Children's Programs
Did not have children...unfamiliar with their activities.

Wow! I was really impressed!
by Sharon from Chicago, IL
Sailing date:
Aug 2007
Pros:
The service!
Unbelievable! I played with monkeys in Honduras, went to Chichen Itza, the beach and other Mayan ruins in Mexico, met amazing people, and spent time with my family, which was important.
Ship Details:
Dining/Food
Anything you want to eat, even if it's not on the menu, you can order. The staff was wonderful! Additionally, the food was great, especially the lobster!
Stateroom Quality
The attendant was fantastic! She even made our towels into little cute animals...and she left chocolate on the pillows at night. We had a great view of the sea as well. You would also think that with the size of the room it would be cramped-none in the least.

Cozumel sucked! I've studied Mexican culture for about 7 yrs...it was like going to Florida. It was also very expensive. The taxi's def rip you off...I would have preferred to just stay on the boat. Awful. Although, luckily we found this amazing museum, which was the only nice part about Cozumel.
Don't Miss:
Nothing because it was awful.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Chichen Itza! The pyramids were awesome! I wish we wouldn't have stopped to shop, which is an obvious plot to get people to buy overly expensive crap. I needed more time at the pyramids. I wish I would have had more time in Progreso. What an amazing place!
Don't Miss:
Chichen Itza!
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras
Monkeys in Roatan! People were friendly, everywhere. The excursion was awesome! I found a local place to eat and the food was great! Plus, the people I met were incredible! I would recommend Roatan to anybody. It was beautiful!
Don't Miss:
The monkeys! They are everywhere!

Pamper, relaxed and entertained.
by Carole from Houston
Sailing date:

Pros:
Beautiful facilities, dining, and service and comfortable stateroom. We were surprised how uncrowded it seemed, even though there were 2000 passengers. The layout contributed to this.
We enjoyed the entire shipboard experience. Big band music. We traveled with my 82 and 86 year old parents; they were extremely well accommodated and taken care of. They loved the shows and dining.

Cozemal was our snorkling destination. It was pretty water, but we went to several stops on the west side, and there was no coral-wiped out by the last major hurricane. We did see fish because our guide baited them up. The excursion crew and boat were exceptional.
Don't Miss:
Not for snorkling.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Progresso. We took an excursion to see the Flamingos. We did see five birds, but it wasn't very scenic.
Don't Miss:
Flamingos.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras
Roatan. Fantastic coral reefs at Tabayana Beach. Best beach in the world.
Don't Miss:
The beaches on the west end.

No big deal.
Cozumel, Mexico
Passion Island: beautiful but too short excursion.
Don't Miss:
Chalky sand, transparent water beach.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Excursion to mangrove lagoon. Very nice, good food, too much time to get there.
Don't Miss:
If weather is good stay at the beach if weather is rainy go to the lagoon.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras
Colorful coral and fishes. Don't miss snorkelling here.
Don't Miss:
Snorkelling in coral reef.

Great experience.
by Mary from Cedar Park, TX

What a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion! We felt pampered the whole week. We had rain in Jamaica, but Mexico and Grand Cayman were perfect. The entertainment was great for us. We will definitely go again! Food was great, selection was great, service impeccable. The fitness area was at the front of the ship which had the most sway. It was nauseating to be on the treadmill.

Pros:
I liked the pool areas and how they had one indoors as well as outside.
I felt that our trip was all that I had imagined that it would be. The food was great, activities all the time, not too many kids everywhere, the stateroom was always looking great, the only thing was my husband got an intestinal thing for a couple of days and he was uncomfortable as you could imagine. We are pretty sure he caught something aboard. But overall a good experience, we will definately be going on another cruise.

Great Service, great vacation value.
by Kitty from Houston, TX
Sailing date:

Pros:
Large enough to not feel crowded but no big lines and great service.
This ship overwhelmed us with the feeling of warmth yet not feeling crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ship was lovely! We travel a lot and felt we got a great vacation for a nominal price.

Cozumel is great for shopping. We took a tour of the island. It was lovely and interesting. The the trees and much of the folage that were destroyed in the hurricane 2 yrs ago are slowly coming back. The downtown is shop after shop of jewelry and other fun things. Be prepared to buy precious stones or jewelry if you like that sort of thing.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Tours best in the morning. We went on a 4 hour Mayan ruin tour in the afternoon since the ship didn't dock until noon. It was extremely hot and although the ruins were interesting, it was too hot and the terrain too rugged to really see it in the afternoon. We spent half of the time there in a covered area drinking beer and we aren't big drinkers.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras
Beautiful area to snorkel. Our snorkel experience was in a beautiful cove. As unexperienced to snorkeling we wanted snorkeling training before we began. Unfortunately our tour didn't provide the instruction but they did get me back to shore when I had trouble with my mask due to my little understanding on how to use the equipment. And the beaches are gorgeous, just use lots of sunscreen and insect repelant for the sand fleas.
Don't Miss:
The beaches to just sit in the shade and read or snorkel.
