Pros:
The cruise director was great!

Cons:
Food was just sub-par

The ship is really old and leaving the fleet in two weeks. It shows it's age and it is nothing pretty or beautiful about it at all. No grandness anywhere. The food in the dinning room was just okay and the buffet was even worse. Prepared eggs and pancakes...nothing made fresh for you. The mini suites were nothing short of a standard balcony on Norweign ships. There were very limited hand sanatizers around the ship, and at that, most were empty. Met a couple ladies and will keep in touch, the shows were okay, and the hip will be out of commission long after it should have been.

My only Royal Caribbean disappointment by A Traveler from Jacksonville, FL
Sailing date: Sep 2012

Pros:
Very warm and friendly staff

Cons:
Not the typical Royal Caribbean food. This cruise offered VERY limited choices. The only options were sub par. NOT AT ALL the usual Ryal Caribbean experience:(

I am a HUGE fan of Royal Caribbean. For me, they have always been the best and only way to go. This was on the smaller class of ships and did not make a good impression on the 2 first time cruisers I brought with me. Our stateroom toilet was out of order the entire trip. Someone came out multiple times to try and repair it to no avail. The food selection was non existent. The buffet had very limited hours. Not much to do on this ship in the way of activities. The onboard stores were rarely opened. The staff was the one saving grace who, as usual were amazing.

No variety, HORRIBLE quality. ALL the lettuce was brown for the entire cruise. The bread was stale every day. Even the pizza tasted like cardboard covered in sauce and cheese.

Children's Programs
An email sent to me a few months ago talked about a new Royal babies and tots program. They were supposed to offer babysitting for a fee of $8 per hour for children under age 3. Once I inquired onboard I was told the fee was $19 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, at a time that they could pencil you in. I was told it would be with 2 staff members in MY STATEROOM!?! No thank you!

Never again by Always traveling from Las Vegas, NV
Sailing date: Jul 2012

Pros:
The bedding

Cons:
Everything

My family and I went on this cruise ship and there was absolutely nothing to do. The kids did not have any activities that they could get into, the buffet was closed most of the time, and there weren't any shows. The pool was small and closed for part of the trip and there was not anything else to do on the cruise ship. The weather was poor when we went, so the outer deck was actually closed, so the only thing left to do was sit in the room because the buffet was closed also. I will never cruise on this cruiseline again. Horrible time.

Disappointing to say the Least by A Traveler from Tampa, FL
Sailing date: Aug 2012

Pros:
Coco Cay

Cons:
Rooms were dirty, persistent misinformation, damaged luggage, rude staff

Welcome aboard lunch ... we felt like cattle being hearded into a corral, no place to sit, long lines. Room was dirty, bed sloppily made, showed age, some of the staff needs to get out of the hospitality business or learn their products better, our luggage was damaged and they haphazardly repaired, teen guide late for excursions and had no clue what the process was, incorrect information provided for departure.

Aweful time on ship by A Traveler from Largo,fl
Sailing date: Jun 2011

Pros:
The evening entertainment was excellent

Cons:
A/C not working in stateroom upon arrival, toliet not working on several decks

I was very disappointed upon arrival in my staterrom no a/c, which I found out they knew about before I arrived but didn't fix. Had to demand they give me another room with a working a/c 9which they finally did). I woke up only to find that the toliet wasn't working in my new room (they did fix it sometime in the wee hours of the night) which was now my 3rd day on the ship. I do not recommend this cruise line at all, I will never cruise on another Royal Carribean ship again. Very disappointed!!!!!!

worst cruise ever by Laurie J from Bradenton Fl

Cons:
food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 18th cruise. Worst food I have ever had on a cruise. Not enough activities, lots of down time. Loud annoying music in the Sound of Music Lounge before the shows. Also played music during movies. I could go on and on, but will never sail Royal Caribbean again.

Poor Cruise by A Traveler from Orlando
Sailing date: Aug 2009

Pros:
Excurtion

Cons:
Ship very old and smelled bad also teen center not supervised enough

A diesel smell is obvious throughout ship especially in cabin - getting in your clothes and belongings - not really conducive to eating meals Many of help unsupervised and goofing around - instead of assisting guests Teen center not supervised enough - not involved with kids -nothing for birthdays - asked staff if they would just sing happy birthday - never did Serving alcohol to minors - not carding - serving very very strong drinks Many many sloppy drunks - bartenders should be more diligent Biggest thing ship old and smelled bad
