Beautiful Cruise! by
Erica T. from Coopersville, MI Sailing date: Apr 2011Pros: I loved the snorkeling off Coco Cay. Cons: I wish there was more time in port. I thought the ship had a wonderful layout. Everything was easy to find and the itinerary was placed in our stateroom the night before so we always knew what was going on and where. The dining was top-notch with a wonderful serving staff. We couldn't have asked for more. Ship QualityI loved the layout...the elevators were slow, but that's because there was always something to do and people were always moving about. We made it a little rule that if we wanted to go down...we took the stairs. It helped keep us fit. Dining/FoodThe dining staff was amazing. They were so friendly and fun. Excellent service. Stateroom QualityWe had a wonderful location...close to everything. The size was perfect...we weren't in there much anyway. Ship Staff QualityWe couldn't have asked for better. The cruise director is also very talented. Entertainment & ActivitiesThere was always something to do...something for everyone.

Cococay (Cruiseline Private Island)The snorkeling was amazing...and available all day long.
Don't Miss: You must snorkel...and try a Coco Loco (their drink of the day). Key West, FloridaWe went on an excursion through Orbitz and it was very easy to find and lots of fun. We saw between 15-20 dolphins while sailing on a catamaran.
Don't Miss: You need to ask the cruise shopping guide where to look for amazing deals. Nassau, BahamasYou can shop downtown Nasau or head over to Paradise Island...you won't be disappointed.

  A wonder experience by
Patricia SMith from Washington, DC Sailing date: Oct 2010Pros: I liked everything, it was best vacation ever. Cons: There were only 2 things, the casino and they did not have anywhere to pray, such as a chapel. The best honeymoon you could ask for by
Henry M from California Sailing date: Jun 2010Pros: Ameneties and attractions on the ship were wonderful Cons: Excursions on the islands were a little pricey We recently sailed on the Majesty of the Seas, and all I can say is "Wow!". The restaurants were great, the pool area was fun and exciting around the clock and the dance areas definitely kept us entertained. We really like Royal Caribbean's style, service, and entertainment. All of the dining choices were really excellent. We had the my time dining option (which I highly recommend) and service was always top notch. The wait staff was very friendly and catered to your every need, the food was absolutely delicious; the steaks and chicken were outstanding, comparable to any great steak house. The Windjammer buffet really isn't a "buffet" anymore, now it's like a cool marketplace/food court with many more choices, stations you can approach from all sides (so no endless line!). Very wide-open and airy feeling, a huge step up from the typical ship buffet. We loved all the nightlife options. The shows were great but we really enjoyed the new latin club, Boleros, the Champagne Bar and the live music at Schooner's Pub. Felt like a totally different night out, every single night. A special honeymooners night to celebrate getting married was a nice touch and made us feel extra special that night.
Our suite was enormous and beautiful with lots of closet space and large dressers for everything you could possibly need them for. It was easy to unpack and feel like it was "our Room". Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive, the staff was wonderful as always, and comes highly recommended from us. Ship Quality

Cococay (Cruiseline Private Island)Absolutely beautiful island, everything you would an island in the Bahamas to be. Very relaxing with Chair and hammocks everywhere to relax on and just a wonderful atmosphere to be in. Highly recommended for the best in R&R.
Don't Miss: Glass bottom boat tour is absolutely amazing! Key West, FloridaGood sightseeing and nice historical architecture. But seems a bit too touristy for my taste.
Don't Miss: The Southernmost point in the US is here. Nassau, BahamasBeautiful island and really nice people. Atlantis is definitely the star attraction on this island and is a can't miss destination. Worth the money to check out Atlantis for the day...will definitely come back just for Atlantis.
Don't Miss: The Atlantis resort. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

  The Bahama Mama! by
Mary B from Overland Park, Kansas Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: I loved everything! The food, entertainment, snorkeling, kayaking, light tackle fishing, swimming and soooo much more! Cons: The room next door was noisy at times! The staterooms are close together and small. We absolutely loved the crusie to the Bahamas. We are early morning people so we were able to beat the crowds on everything. We could sit down and enjoy a quiet breakfast with a warm cup of coffee. We did not stay up for the late night parties or the adult shows - just not our thing! We went for an early morning walk on the beach in Nassua, Bahamas and we enjoyed walking through the streets of the town. We went back on the boat to grab another TERRIFIC lunch. The selection of food on the buffet was always enjoyable. The staff was always prompt, alert and courteous - Good Job! The Royal Carribean crew stays on the boats for 7 months at a time and they still have great attitudes toward every passenger! The RC island of Coco Cay was a very fun stop. My husband and I were the frist boat over to the isalnd and one of the last to leave. I had my hair braided - to be a TRUE Bahama Mama! We went early morning kayaking with a very small group and we were able to see a great view from our kayaks. We rented snorkeling equipment and saw soooooo many beautiful fish. It is well worth the money! I would highly recommend snorkeling! I am not a big drinker but enjoyed the rum drinks on the trip - drinks of the day - Pina Colada - Bahama Mama - Coco Loco - they are all made with rum. The "My Time" dining experience is fantastic. The food and service were EXCELLENT. My husband had TWO meals some nights because he was "still hungry" - NOT - because it was so good he wanted to stuff himself. We enjoyed the other two couples we sat with every evening. My husband liked them too and he struggles talking with strangers. We went light tackle fishing in Key West with Surge our fishing tour guide. He was great! My husband caught a 30 pound lemon shark - he held it for the pictures. Surge wanted me to hold it for a picture but I decided holding a shark was NOT for me! I enjoyed the fishing trip - but one tip - take dramamine before you go. One women on the small boat got sea sick and we voted to return 30 minutes early for her! I did not get sick on the RC cruise ship. Sometimes you could not even tell it was moving. We moved from port to port in the evenings so each day we would wake up in a new location. VERY FUN! The evening shows were comedians, magicians and the RC singers and dancers. It was good CLEAN entertainment! They did offer late night adult shows - we declined. They offered a late night pool party that seemed to get really crazy - we declined.
A four night cruise to the Bahamas is a perfect amount of time to be on the ship!
WE LOVED IT! Ship QualityThe RC staff kept the place looking nice. I thought the ship was the perfect size - you could always find a place away from the crowd. It was always clean and the decor was just fine! Dining/FoodGo for the "my time" dining. The food is wonderful and the service is fabulous. We do not have an opportunity to eat in fancy restaurants very often - $$$ for fancy is out of our price range - so we really enjoyed being pampered EVERY NIGHT! Belle was our waiteress and William was her assistant. THEY WERE THE BEST! The breakfast and lunch buffets were great - filled will MANY options - lots of variety! My husband and i both gained four pounds - we enjoyed the food! There are restaurants open almost 24/7. We did not find the deli or the pizza parlor until the last day - check them out early! Stateroom QualitySMALL!
The staff had surprises for us every day! They did a terrific job in keeping it clean and picked up! It was comfortable. We slept well every night - I think we were exhausted from the daytime activities! Ship Staff QualityWe were greeted with a smile everywhere we went on the ship. They were very helpful when I had my MANY questions. Our "My Time" staff for the dining room was so good - unbelievable! Entertainment & ActivitiesThe game shows were funny. The entertainment director would tell us to go to see what people will do for a piece of plastic - a RC keychain - they were often the prizes.
Comedians - GREAT!
Comedian/Magician - GREAT!
RC singers and dancers - GREAT!
Go to the show every evening they are fun!
They had a pool party - too late for us - it started at 11:30 p.m. - we slept!

2nd time on this cruise ship--EXCELLENT by
Patricia H. from Queens, NY Sailing date: Feb 2010Pros: EVERYTHING!!!--the food, the atmosphere and i love how they've renovated the ship. My first time on The Majesty was in 2000. I loved it then and I loved it this time around. I took my friend; it was her birthday and her first time crusing. She got a little sea-sick but she had an AWESOME time. I Cons: I wish the weather was a little warmer at two of the islands but the Bahamas was beautiful. Everything was great. I love the way RC has renovated the ship. It looks wonderful. The ship was clean and well maintained. Comfy beds. Room a tad-bit small, but who spends time in their room anyway. Ship Qualitythere's plenty to do on this ship; you could relax by the pool side with your drink of the day or join an activity. Dining/FoodFood--awesome. I ate things i would never think about eating at home. Gained a few pounds I must say, but it was all worth it. Stateroom QualityRooms a little small, but comfortable and very very clean. Bed was soft and very comfortable. Ship Staff QualityOur state room attendant definitely went above and beyond what she was required to do....needless to say she was well compensated :) Entertainment & ActivitiesHad a blast whether it was playing bingo or partying on deck at night. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

  Fantastic cruise by
A Traveler from Fort Lauderdale Florida Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Food, layout of the ship, cleanliness Its a nice short term getaway. The crew is very professional and happy to help you with anything you need. The food in the Windjammer was fantastic. There is something to offer almost anyone on this ship, it looks new, clean, very classy. The room we had was kind of small but the bed was extremely comfortable and roomy. Coco Cay was really nice, the barbque was very tasty, bring a lot of sun screen and be careful of the sea lice ( small larval jellyfish that can deliver a nasty sting). Nassau was beatiful, we did the blackbeards island excursion, really nice little island with a turquoise beach. The ship has a smooth ride, is well laid out. I would definitely go on this cruise again. 6 out of 7 people found this review helpful.

  an awesome cruise :) by
A Traveler from Edison, NJ Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: i loved the service of all the employees, all of the helpful paperwork that was provided daily, all of the events that were planned daily, the portrait sessions available, the ease of using our set sail passes to buy goods aboard, the option of buffet style meals versus formal sit-down meals Cons: i did not like the fact that the jacuzzi closed at 10pm. it was always crowded and hard to get a seat...i didn't like that there wasn't a great variety of restaurants open before dinner. It was a great size for a 4 day cruise. The stateroom was a little small, but I expected it considering it is a ship!...The attendant did a great job of tending to it! Ship QualityIt was very clean! The public restrooms and pools, etc were well-kept. They did a great job of making sure tables were cleaned immediately. Dining/FoodLoved all the food! :) More vegetarian options please..the ambiance in the main dining hall was very nice! Stateroom QualityThe beds were very comfortable..The stateroom was well-kept..and the decor was typical of a hotel room. Ship Staff Qualityawesome! There was always someone around to help when needed..or a phone call away..I appreciate them alot! Entertainment & ActivitiesLots of activities available..never a dull moment!

Cococay (Cruiseline Private Island)This was amazing. It was so nice to have an island to ourselves. The beach was great. The water was the perfect temperature..The shopping is great too!
Don't Miss: snorkeling Key West, FloridaThe beaches are gorgeous..definitely spend time there..the Conch train tour is pretty cool, but it is not amazing. It just takes you around the town..You don't get to stop or get off at any of the places..Just one stop I believe.
Don't Miss: Sloppy Joe's is an awesome restaurant to visit! Nassau, BahamasThe markets were really cool and fun to shop in!...I liked visiting the Atlantis resort..and wished we had more time in Nassau..I would have loved to stay a night there.
