Great weekend get-away!
by Emily S. from Cincinnati, OH
Sailing date:
Jun 2012
Pros:
It was a good, short trip for first time travelers
Cons:
It might have been too short!
The ship, although old, was well equipped and the room was really nice. We had no problems at all with the accommodations and we had a great time on the ship, as well as on the excursions. The staff was extremely helpful and nice and we were never out of things to do. In fact, we were exhausted at the end of the day because we played so hard the whole time.

Dining/Food
My food was great but my boyfriend had some issues with his food the first night (very fatty steak.) The food, overall, was pretty delicious.
Stateroom Quality
Although small, as a cruise ship room is, it was very nice and always clean.

Excellent!
by long time cruiser from Ft Myers
Sailing date:
Mar 2012
Pros:
Food, Service, Entertainment, Cleanliness, Security
Cons:
several lines getting off the ship at port
Very high review for RCCL, although ship has recently been updated, it seemed a little worn in a few areas, but very clean. The crew seems to pride in their ship. The atrium area and shops were very bright and tasteful. I sailed on this ship in 92 and I saw some "relics" displayed at various places on the ship from long ago ...such as a decorative ship's wheel that brought back a memory...a nice touch.

Great for first time cruisers!
by Adam C. from Laurel, MD
Sailing date:
Oct 2011
Pros:
The food was excellent!
Cons:
Pay wifi
The superior ocean view state room was much larger than I anticipated. The service was spectacular and friendly. All of the staff wants you to be happy and enjoy your time and don't just seem to be "doing their job" but going the extra mile to make sure you are pampered and having fun. For those who are hesitant to try cruising I would honestly say just go for it.

Pros:

Cons:
Had to come home!
This was my family's first time cruising. We took this particular cruise to celebrate my monther's 60th birthday both as a treat to ourselves, and to fulfill a dream of her's. We were all pleasantly surprised by how easy everything was, and what a great time we all had. We are already planning our next getaway!

This was a great way to spend the day. The only reason we only rated it as "good" was because the water at the main "beach" area was murky and smelled bad, probably due to stagnant water. Once you swam out and away from the beach, the water cleared and so did the stench.
Key West, Florida
Nassau, Bahamas
This was our only "meh" part of the trip, but we were expecting that based upon other reviews.

We were a little leery about the private island but it turned out to be a wonderful time to relax and enjoy the serenity of the island.
Key West, Florida
We did the para sailing and loved it. Later we wished we had also rented scooters and toured the area. All of the local people we met were super friendly and helpful.
Nassau, Bahamas
We did the underwater scuba bubbles and loved them. We loved interacting with the local people and they were super nice to us.

A great first-time experience!
by Jayne L. from Elizabethtown, KY
Sailing date:
Jul 2011
Pros:
Ports of call were excellent and the food was awesome!
Cons:
Needed more time at Key West.
The staff was as friendly and helpful as at Disney World. The ship was clean and beautiful. There were lines to stand in but they moved fast and smoothly.

Enjoyed the jet skiing and just lounging around after a day of walking.
Key West, Florida
Could have used more time here. We did a snorkeling excursion that was great. We would have liked to have enjoyed some of the night life here.
Nassau, Bahamas
Paradise Island was very nice but we didn"t see a lot of it. The city was dirty and smelled bad in places. The Straw Market was great for shopping. The vendors were not as pushy as I had heard.
Don't Miss:
Atlantis.
