Great times on the Seas
by Amber U from New York, NY
Sailing date:
Oct 2012
Pros:
The on-board entertainment and the food/drinks were great!
Cons:
I did not like the option to do normal daily tasks on my own (ex: ironing or sewing on a button). They made me call the on-board laundry and tailor...for a fee, of course
The ship was very large! Some of the elevators got confusing, where they would only take you to certian floors and parts of the ship. It was kind of annoying to have to travel from one end of the ship to the other, depending on what you were doing. The ship itself was clean and the pool deck was nice and modern. The floor on the pool deck got very slippery when wet.

I expected the room to be small, which is was, but not too cramped for the two of us. The Bathroom was very tiny...especially the shower
Ship Staff Quality
We seemed to make "friends" with all the staff. They were great!
Entertainment & Activities
The entertainment was a lot of fun, and varied enough! I found myself wanting to go to everything, which was impossible, unfortunately :(

First time cruise!!!
by A Traveler from Pittsburgh, PA
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
This was my first time ever on a cruise and it was such an awesome experience! The staff on this ship was incredibly polite and so helpful. We had an interior room and I was pleasantly surpirsed with the size of the room. I would definitely recommend this ship!

I would never travel with them again
by A Traveler from Orlando FL
Sailing date:
Aug 2012
Pros:
The staff inside the ship
Cons:
Company procedures
The staff inside the ship are great but the company needs to review its pollicy. A hurricane was on the way of our itinerary. They didn't let us cancel our cruise or transfer to another day. We went, stayed inside tge ship the whole trip and stayed 12 hours stuck near the port of Miami waiting for it to re-open. It was a mess to let the guests put of the ship. We had olderly people that started to fell sick while in the mess to get out of the ship. Never gonna use this company again!

Great Experience
by A Traveler from Madrid Spain
Sailing date:
Aug 2012
Pros:
Ship installation
Cons:
Too Crowdy
The Cruise was very Good. The service was also awesome. Room service the best, Waiters were very busy. Maybe the tickets were oversold and we didn't have a chance to relax inside the ship. Breakfast time was a nightmare because of the crowd. After we'd got out of the ship we had a good time. All destinations were great. Coco cay is amazing for beach lovers.

Our Majesty Cruise
by Lisa D. from Spencer, MA
Sailing date:
Jun 2012
Pros:
The Pool Area
Cons:
Size of the Ship
Majesty of the Seas was the smallest ship we've ever sailed on, but it was clean, the service was good, there was good and plentiful food available. Activities planned on the ship for our 3 day cruise were packed full.

Fine ship, great service
by A Traveler from Peachtree City, GA
Sailing date:
Jun 2012
Pros:
Food and staff services
Cons:
Limited pool and buffet seating
A short (4-day) cruise on an older, smaller ship and a disappointing Royal Caribbean experience 12 years ago put us at low expectations for this economy vacation choice. We could not have been more surprised. The ship's decor is very modern and attractive. Navigation and public areas feel like a hotel, minimizing the sense that you're on a ship. Most of the ship is wheelchair-friendly, which was important to us for this trip. The food was exceptionally good, even in the buffet service restaurant. The service from nearly all of the staff was also exceptional. We only had a couple of issues with one of the casino dealers and the dining room hostess being cold and aloof. Our superior ocean view cabin was spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean as a whistle. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. Overall, the four night trip was a wonderfully relaxing break from reality with few disappointments and a credit to the Royal Caribbean brand.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Ship looks great. Only wish we had to compete less for pool deck and buffet restaurant seating.
Dining/Food
Shouldn't have to pay extra for lobster and steak - at least offer it one night at no premium charge.
Stateroom Quality
Stateroom was fantastic - spring for the superior OV for more space.
Ship Staff Quality
With a couple of exceptions, the staff was the best part of the trip for us in some respects.
Entertainment & Activities
If entertainment value is a primary concern, pick another ship/itinerary. We enjoyed the bingo and the adult comedy show, but the entertainment as a whole was average with few things we found appealing by title and elected to not attend/participate (e.g. juggling was the prime time show one night).

disappointing cruise
by A Traveler from Los Angeles
Sailing date:
Jun 2012
Pros:
departure port
Cons:
room and food
The selection of rooms is misleading compared to other cruiselines. When faced with a choice for a room with a window, the selections should display the portholes rather than the picture windows displayed. My father didn't sleep the entire cruise. We were placed right above the ship's engine which was extremely noisy. These rooms should be eliminated. The food selection was poor and often cold. My eggs were cold every morning.

Great weekend get-away!
by Emily S. from Cincinnati, OH
Sailing date:
Jun 2012
Pros:
It was a good, short trip for first time travelers
Cons:
It might have been too short!
The ship, although old, was well equipped and the room was really nice. We had no problems at all with the accommodations and we had a great time on the ship, as well as on the excursions. The staff was extremely helpful and nice and we were never out of things to do. In fact, we were exhausted at the end of the day because we played so hard the whole time.

Dining/Food
My food was great but my boyfriend had some issues with his food the first night (very fatty steak.) The food, overall, was pretty delicious.
Stateroom Quality
Although small, as a cruise ship room is, it was very nice and always clean.
