I would never travel with them again by
A Traveler from Orlando FL Sailing date: Aug 2012Pros: The staff inside the ship Cons: Company procedures The staff inside the ship are great but the company needs to review its pollicy. A hurricane was on the way of our itinerary. They didn't let us cancel our cruise or transfer to another day. We went, stayed inside tge ship the whole trip and stayed 12 hours stuck near the port of Miami waiting for it to re-open. It was a mess to let the guests put of the ship. We had olderly people that started to fell sick while in the mess to get out of the ship. Never gonna use this company again! Ship QualityInside the ship it was great. Dining/Food

  Great Experience by
A Traveler from Madrid Spain Sailing date: Aug 2012Pros: Ship installation Cons: Too Crowdy The Cruise was very Good. The service was also awesome. Room service the best, Waiters were very busy. Maybe the tickets were oversold and we didn't have a chance to relax inside the ship. Breakfast time was a nightmare because of the crowd. After we'd got out of the ship we had a good time. All destinations were great. Coco cay is amazing for beach lovers.
Ship Qualityperfect but too many people inside the ship. Dining/FoodGood if you follow the waiter's recommendations. the rest of the dishes were ok. Stateroom Qualityvery good. The responsible of the room was very kind. Entertainment & Activities

  Our Majesty Cruise by
Lisa D. from Spencer, MA Sailing date: Jun 2012Pros: The Pool Area Cons: Size of the Ship Majesty of the Seas was the smallest ship we've ever sailed on, but it was clean, the service was good, there was good and plentiful food available. Activities planned on the ship for our 3 day cruise were packed full. Ship Quality

  Fine ship, great service by
A Traveler from Peachtree City, GA Sailing date: Jun 2012Pros: Food and staff services Cons: Limited pool and buffet seating A short (4-day) cruise on an older, smaller ship and a disappointing Royal Caribbean experience 12 years ago put us at low expectations for this economy vacation choice. We could not have been more surprised. The ship's decor is very modern and attractive. Navigation and public areas feel like a hotel, minimizing the sense that you're on a ship. Most of the ship is wheelchair-friendly, which was important to us for this trip. The food was exceptionally good, even in the buffet service restaurant. The service from nearly all of the staff was also exceptional. We only had a couple of issues with one of the casino dealers and the dining room hostess being cold and aloof. Our superior ocean view cabin was spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean as a whistle. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. Overall, the four night trip was a wonderfully relaxing break from reality with few disappointments and a credit to the Royal Caribbean brand. Ship QualityShip looks great. Only wish we had to compete less for pool deck and buffet restaurant seating. Dining/FoodShouldn't have to pay extra for lobster and steak - at least offer it one night at no premium charge. Stateroom QualityStateroom was fantastic - spring for the superior OV for more space. Ship Staff QualityWith a couple of exceptions, the staff was the best part of the trip for us in some respects. Entertainment & ActivitiesIf entertainment value is a primary concern, pick another ship/itinerary. We enjoyed the bingo and the adult comedy show, but the entertainment as a whole was average with few things we found appealing by title and elected to not attend/participate (e.g. juggling was the prime time show one night). 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

  disappointing cruise by
A Traveler from Los Angeles Sailing date: Jun 2012Pros: departure port Cons: room and food The selection of rooms is misleading compared to other cruiselines. When faced with a choice for a room with a window, the selections should display the portholes rather than the picture windows displayed. My father didn't sleep the entire cruise. We were placed right above the ship's engine which was extremely noisy. These rooms should be eliminated.
The food selection was poor and often cold. My eggs were cold every morning. Ship Quality

  Great weekend get-away! by
Emily S. from Cincinnati, OH Sailing date: Jun 2012Pros: It was a good, short trip for first time travelers Cons: It might have been too short! The ship, although old, was well equipped and the room was really nice. We had no problems at all with the accommodations and we had a great time on the ship, as well as on the excursions. The staff was extremely helpful and nice and we were never out of things to do. In fact, we were exhausted at the end of the day because we played so hard the whole time. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodMy food was great but my boyfriend had some issues with his food the first night (very fatty steak.) The food, overall, was pretty delicious. Stateroom QualityAlthough small, as a cruise ship room is, it was very nice and always clean. Ship Staff Quality

  Fantastic Time by
Michael N. from Denver, CO Sailing date: May 2012Pros: Food Cons: Weather This was my first cruise, but a great experience. The ship was very nice inside and did not look dated. The food was good, there were a lot of activities and the staff was excellent. The only complaint was about the weather - rain the whole trip! But fun time and even the drink prices weren't outrageous. Ship QualityVery clean, easy and accessible, though on the smaller size compared to newer ships. Dining/FoodLoved the food served in the dining room for dinner. The buffet food was pretty good as well. Did not enjoy being charged $5.00 just to eat at Johnny Rockets. Ship Staff Quality

  Comfortable cruising by
Brenda B from Redmond, WA Sailing date: May 2012Pros: The crew was the most friendly crew we've ever met (this was our 5th cruise) Cons: 9pm dining time...that was a poor choice on our part...it's really too late to eat The ship is not large or opulent, but it was very nice, clean, well maintained, and we could find our way around it after just a few hours. Our stateroom was surprisingly roomy (deck 9) and there was plenty of drawer space and light. The bathroom was fine as well. The food was good...not "to die for", but good. The selections for dinner were a little limited compared to some other cruises we've been on, but, hey, we always found something we liked on the menu. The entertainment was decent, the activities were varied and those we joined in were quite fun. We enjoyed this low key cruise very much, and ranked RCI our #2 of 5 cruise lines we've been on so far. So-So Cruise by
John P from Leesburg FL Sailing date: May 2012Cons: Loud rap music at pool and in dining areas Clean with good service. Seems to cater to younger group lately based on choice of music and volume. Always way too loud. Never a quiet moment. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodChoices OK, but after two nights I found it hard to make selection. Buffet items for breakfast were cold. Stateroom Quality
