A great trip!
by Colin B. from Allentown, PA
Sailing date:
Sep 2012
Pros:
The staff on the boat were great and the ports were very inviting.
Cons:
Halifax was more 'Americanized' than I expected but still enjoyable.
The Enchantment was a good ship, a little old now but still in good shape and plenty of room for the people on board.

Dining/Food
The food was top-notch in the dining room. The Windjammer cafe food was good but sometimes heat lamps just take the quality out of food.

Ship Staff Quality
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everyone smiled and said 'hello'.

Bermuda 5/2012
by K Singh from Northern VA
Sailing date:
May 2012
Pros:
What we liked most --- just going to 1 port, having extra time in Bermuda
Cons:
no hairdryers/iron in bedroom
the ship was really nice. it was easy to navigate and find our way around. ship was also very clean, well maintained.

Dining/Food
the typical cruise food, lots of options. nothing really wowed me, but i definitely didnt starve neither! we never ate at the dining room because our dining time was 830pm, we were always hungry before that. we mainly ate all or our meals at the wind jammer. Some of our favorites were make your own pizza, key lime pie, oatmeal raisin cookies, mexican corn salad, make your own stir fry, the vegetables were really Delicious!!!!
Stateroom Quality
Suggestion - Pack your own hair dryer! Otherwise, we had an inside stateroom, which was nice. interior rooms do make it easy to sleep the day away! after i woke up i always turned on the tv or 1 light to keep me up, before falling back to sleep, it is Very dark when the lights go out!
Ship Staff Quality
The staff are all so friendly, and not because its their job. Royal Carribean definitly seek out "people persons" to staff their ships. It really shows when you talk to the staff. Which is really nice to be around such friendly people on vacation
Entertainment & Activities
The late nite adult comedy shows were Really funny. we watched 3 comedy shows

An AMAZING first cruise
by A Traveler from Philadelphia, Pa
Sailing date:
Nov 2011
Pros:
Everything!
Cons:
The only bad thing was the coffee! Hehe but they had a specialty coffee shop to make up for it
The ship was an older one built in the 90s but renovated at some point in the 2000s. That being said, everything was beautiful. They also keep up on maintenance really well (even when we were sailing!)

Wonderful cruise
by EricC from Maryland
Sailing date:
Feb 2011
Pros:
Beautiful beaches and crystal clear water
Cons:
Some guests not controlling their teenagers
All of the people me and my family delt with from the stateroom attendants to the dinning room staff were wonderful. They made our experience while on board great. I would love to travel on another cruise with that same group of people. I can't wait until our next opportunity for a cruise and hope that if it is on a different boat or a different cruiseline that the people onboard will be as good to us and make is as wonderful!!!

great cruise/great Orbitz help
by Don S from Washington DC
Sailing date:
Oct 2009
Pros:
relaxing
Cons:
ferry from Cozumel to mainland
Enchantment of the Seas (Royal Car), great time. And great help from Orbitz -- bought the tickets and recently married so my wife's passport doesn't yet match her changed name...Orbitz nicely/quickly changed the name on the reservation 3 days prior to our departure... Cruise itself -- great. Buffet at dinner was better than the sit down diner. We were pleasantly surprised by this. We had an internal stateroom (the chaep ones) and they were fine. It was easy to hang out at the pool with the masses, or hang out on deck somewhere away from all the hub-bub. They had spinning bikes in the rec room so we could work out when we wanted. This was my first cruise and I will come back for more... Easy on /off the ship, comfortable/quiet room, great service all around (staterooms attendants, folks on deck etc), constant food/workouts if desired, easy to plan excursions off ship at ports....all was super. ONLY bad thing was out of the ship's control -- ferry from Cozumel to the mainland is choppy and rough...for 40 minutes...people were barfing around us...i almost did too on the way back...have some anti nausea meds ready if you take the ferry...

First Time Cruisers
by Lynn A from Cherryville, NC
Sailing date:
Jul 2009
Pros:
The people were so nice and the entertainment was wonderful
Cons:
The formal dinner.
When we entered the ship, I was so amazed at the way the ship was taken care of. It was beautiful. Everyone that worked for the cruiseline treated us so special. We've never been on a cruise but highly recommend everyone to go and we will definately recommend Enchantment of the Sea to everyone we know. I can't say enough about the people working for the cruiseline. They made our first time cruise a memory of a life time. Thanks again for everything and hope to see you again soon.

We rented a car this time and didn't worry about the timing back to the ship. We decided to enjoy a day at the beach. We did go to one that parking was free. It had a bar and restaurant. We rented a jetski. That was great. Want to warn people about it, someone got into our car and luckily, we didn't have anything in it for them to take. Other than that, it was fantastic. We went back to Margaritaville and had lunch. They were very friendly. I did notice the people that lived there seemed to aproach us at every store to try to get you to purchase things. I found that irritating. Just learn to keep walking.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We rented a jeep but now wish we had went on an excursion with the ship because they charged alot for the jeep. We were so worried about getting back to the ship on time that we couldn't enjoy alot of the island. We will go on the excursion on our next voyage.
Don't Miss:
Swimming with the dolphins and going to the sea turtle farm. A new adventure for my husband and myself.

Pros:
The Awesome RCCL - the food, the attention to detail and Belize

Nothing was a waste of time. Loved the snorkling and the beautiful water and friendly Belizians - the greatest place that I have ever visited. Just wished we could have stayed several days in Belize
Don't Miss:
snorkling around the reefs
Key West, Florida
I have been to Key West several time and have always recommended this area to friends and family. Becuase I am so familiar with the area we did not participate in the excursions because we did our own thing.

Wow, what a feeling!
by A Traveler from new york
Sailing date:
May 2009
Pros:
I like the entertainment on the ship. I alos enjoyed the hospitality and service with a smile.
Cons:
I have none!
I would recommend this cruise line to anyone and everyone. It is for the young and the old. All walks of life are there and you get to meet new people. The service was outstanding and the staff was friendly. I was well informed about the different land excursions the night before. The who and what of every question was answered.

Loved it all. Except for the pool area. The afternoon tends to fill rather quickly. The lounge chairs are taken for those who like to sunbath but its open 24hrs so you'll get your chance to get in the water or tan it up! Always clean. Pool area and jacuzzis cleaned daily and the lounge areas around the pool are also cleaned with hot water and steam.
