Great Time
by James H from Charlotte NC
Sailing date:
May 2012
Pros:
The great attention to detail by the crew
Cons:
The computer room and the person running it
We had a wonderful time on the cruise. The ship and the crew were awesome and paid great attention to detail. The food and wait staff were excellent. I would suggest this cruise to anyone who really needs to get away and needs some relaxation.

More than I expected
by A Traveler from Maryland
Sailing date:
Sep 2011
Pros:
The service and organization
Cons:
nothing
I found everything to be beyond my expectations. The service and the organization to get everyone off and on the ship was friendly and quick. The ship was beautiful and clean. I loved it all.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
The ship was clean and up to date. There was something for everyone.
Dining/Food
I enjoyed the anytime dining. The food was very good and the selection on the menu was great. Nothing was repeated. The food service was excellent.
Stateroom Quality
The beds were very comfortable and nice and warm. The room was big enough for two. We did not spend time in the room other than to sleep and shower. It was clean and nice.
Ship Staff Quality
The best! EVERYONE was helpful and friendly. Whatever we needed was taken care of. A plus!
Entertainment & Activities
There was something for everyone. If you were bored, it was your own fault.

Ports of Call:
Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey
Ephesus was very interesting and worth the visit.
Don't Miss:
Ephesus
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Well, it's Rome! We definitely needed more time. I would return for a week visit. The Vatican is too crowded, I did not care to see it. I enjoyed walking around the city.
Istanbul, Turkey
The people were very friendly and the city was so different than I thought. I would return with more time to explore.
Don't Miss:
I enjoyed the cistern.
Mykonos, Greece
Beautiful! What I pictured the Greek Isles to be.
Don't Miss:
Getting lost in the winding streets.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Pisa was prettier than I thought. The buildings were beautiful. Florence was my favorite city. I would return for a week to see more.
Don't Miss:
The view from across the bridge.
Monte Carlo, Monaco
It was very clean. The old part of the city was beautiful. There was not much else to do there. I would not return.
Don't Miss:
The ancient part of the city.
Naples, Italy
The city itself was not much. The trash was not pretty. I don;t think I would return unless to visit the Amalfi coast.
Don't Miss:
Vesuvius was great.
Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Other than the Parthenon I didn't find much else there. The city is large and dirty. I would not return to Athens.
Don't Miss:
Parthenon
Venice, Italy
I loved everything in Venice. I especially loved Burano. I don't care to spend my days in museums. I love to walk around and feel the energy of the city. One church is like another, so I only look outside.
Don't Miss:
Must do the boat ride to Murano and Burano.

Pros:
The tours.
Cons:
The nightly entertainment
The ship was princess cruise and it was really great experience in spite of the ship's size, which was a big one. They were extremely efficient therefore things moved smoothly. The ship's itinery was a great one and we really enjoyed every minute of it.

The nightly entertainment was extremely boring and not worth anybody's time. In fact it was the only part of our cruise we did not enjoy.

My husband and I were greatly disappointed in this port city. It was quite expensive and not as exciting as we expected. We did not even see the " Mermaid " as it was loaned to another country.

Pros:
The ship
Cons:
All the sales pitches. All the lines to get on and off ship, sometimes as many as 4 lines.
Would recommend this cruise to people who want to shop. Princess people sent us on the wrong excursion so missed out on that. Still waiting to hear if I have to pay for something I didn't get.

Too bad about the rain and fog.

Pros:
not a lot
Cons:
the constant sales picthes on the ship
I am so glad that this trip was only 2 days, I could not handle being on this boat for a full 7 days, and I cruse a lot. On this trip, I was very dissapointed, the food was all starch, and bread, wow, they must be on a budget. And the most annyoing part were all the sales pitches, everything your invited too, is followed by them trying to sell you stuff, massages, spa pakcages, etc.. why cant they just be nice and offere some real service upon selling everything, this is so annoying, maybe if they were just blunt about it then fine, but to sneak it in everywhere, thats what I hate most. do they really think we are that stupid...
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
the weather was cold so it was not a fun atmostphere.
Dining/Food
not bad, but skimpy....
Stateroom Quality
poor, nothing special about it
Ship Staff Quality
everyone was friendly, and if you buy something more so, but if you dont buy, dont think you will feel special
