  A wonderful cruise. by
Joseph Herrmann from Sacramento, CA Sailing date: Apr 2010Pros: Dining and entertainment Cons: Dealing with the elevators and the tiny shower. The Staff was wonderful and the food was good. We enjoyed the cafe for our lunch, especially the Quiches. It was the first time we had an inside cabin. We would have enjoyed a cabin with a view as we could never determine daylight. Hopefully, we can have better accomodations next cruise. Ship QualityShip size too large, difficulty in taking an elevator. Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityShower area too small - otherwise statement was very clean and comfortable in spite of being an inside cabin. Ship Staff Quality

  Stormy weather by
Jan P from Beaumont, CA Sailing date: Mar 2010Pros: Entertainment Cons: Service, Food, Weather I don't know if the economy has affected all the shipping lines, but I was disappointed in the quality of the entire cruise. The first people to greet you are the ones selling the Coca Cola Cards...TACKY!! Never have we been offered pork belly on the dinner menu before, the steaks were not that good but the fish was very good. Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityEven though we paid $10.50 per day per person, it appeared that many of the services required an additional tip. If you order any kind of juice after 11:00 am, you will pay for it plus tip. Ship Staff QualityOur ship Stewardess was not good at all, however others in our party were very happy with their's. Luck of the draw. Entertainment & Activities

  Cruising for Trouble by
Mark H. from Omaha, nebraska Sailing date: Jan 2010Pros: The staff and the food in the dining room was excellent. Cons: The ship has stopped using mandatory hand sanitizers at the dining areas and other places on ghe sheip. Thie caused our ship to have a round of the flu that hit a larger percentage of the passengers. Though the claim to comply with the CDC, that does not meantthat they are doing all that is possib Staff is excellent, food in dining rooms is gexcellent. The buffet is not good nor is it sanitary. Entertainment was excellent Ship QualityUse of hand sanitizer has been reduced due. No longer forced to sanitize hands prior to using buffet. Lot of people caught the flu while traveling on the ship. Princess needs to revisit their sanitation policy as far as placement of hand sanitizers Dining/FoodWith the exception of the Buffet. The food was excellent, the hours of service was above average. A hamburger grill, piza paror, and ice cream stand is open most of the day and evening. The internet cafe has excellent soups, sandwiches, and salads. Quality of food was exceptional. However, the buffet food was sub standard, and it was a breeding ground for intestional ailments and influenza. Not much attention to customer sanitization. And an indifference at the Pursor's office about the health issues on the ship. Stateroom QualityVery pleased with both accomodation and service. Ship Staff QualityThe best we have experienced. Service was exceptional, and very personalized. The staff new our names and preferences by the end of the cruise. Entertainment & ActivitiesEntertainment was very good. Allways something to do, or see. Piano players in both bars, novelty acts, chefs, artists, all for your enjoyment. Movies show outside on a drive-in sized screen were excellent. 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

Ron O. from Orlando, FL Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Breath-taking views and wonderful shore excursions. Cons: Food wasn't as good as other cruises I've taken The ship was standard in many respects, but tastefully decorated and seemed to cater to the older crowd which was drawn to this cruise. Ship Quality

  Very laid back... by
Dee from Arlington, Texas Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: The ease of getting around with lots of elevators. We were looking for a restful cruise with plenty to see and do at our own pace and we got it. A beautiful cabin with balcony, good food choices, saw lots of whale, the weather cooperated, good shore excursions to choose from. When it was over - we were exhausted but rested! Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityWe were surprised to find out that we had been upgraded to a larger suite and it was just wonderful. The balcony was perfect for our trip.

Jacksan from St. Paul, MN Sailing date: Sep 2007Pros: Spaciousness without feeling big and crowded - a good use of space. A sensible and mature use of colors in the interior. A very-well rounded service on an excellent ship. Dining/FoodGood if not excellent.
Stateroom QualityA very nice room with a huge balcony.
Ship Staff QualityA little more personal service in the dining rooms might not hurt.
